This place is great! Super clean, efficient staff, good food and famously fabulous authentic 50's Americano feel. Take your family on a field trip here! If you are headed west on a road trip.. Hit this gem..great bucket list place!!!!!

This place was a total disappointment. Very slow service....The waitress tried to be smart and instead of writing our order down she tried to memorize it. That didnt work since she completely forgot my steak fingers. My wife specifically said she didn't want a double patty on her burger but it came to her as a double anyway. The pizza which claims to be 9 inches is barely 6 inches and was the worst pizza ever. We didnt even know we could get refills until I heard the waitress offer another table. We were never offered a refill the entire hour. The only reason I am giving two stars is because of the shake...it was pretty great. If you're going for the food don't waste your time.

I pretty much go here 2-3 times a week. I don't mind the wait for pretty good food and I've never had any issue with the service. Always polite, always helpful.

It's a local institution. Not the greatest culinary delights in the world, but if you just need a good old fashion burger, chick fingers, steak fingers etc. this is the place to go!!!

Old fashioned drive-in. A nostalgic experience. Get the taquitos! Grilled cheese and hamburgers!

Hot fresh fries. Cold, creamy milkshakes and good cheese burgers. I would recommend going there any day over Mc Donald's. They have a wide range of food from breakfast to mexican and hamburgers, fries and yummy onion rings.

I've enjoyed the food each time I've stopped in. Friendly waitstaff, variety of food and quick service. I ordered the chicken fried steak which was pretty good but the "salad" left something to be desired. I also ordered the banana split for dessert and hit the jackpot! It was huge and tasted amazing!

I tried the taquitoes here (they call them taquitas here, not so sure why) and they were not as great as many people in town said they were. They were super super dry & over cooked. The red sauce that comes with them tasted like a watered down ketchup.

I am so sad to see that Alan did not enjoy his meal at the Foxy. Maybe it was a bad night. I use to go to the Foxy as a kid and still stop in when I am back in Clovis. I now take my husband and kids and we all love it. Taqitos are the bomb, think they have a special one night of the week on them. I know we use to do that when I was little. The Hamburger rocks AND FRIED BURRITO!! Fried Burrito, you never see these anymore, it did not disappoint. I give Foxy 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Really fun place if you are with the family.

The food taste great but service was lacking. Although they were very busy when we went. There was only one waitress for entire place.

I am an avid lover of any drive in food and decided to give this a try. All the workers are of a younger generation and often times lose track of what they're doing. I was brought my food but had to ask for ketchup on more than one occasional and was given the wrong beverage. The food was of drive in grade but it is a "drive in". I did have some kind of apple stick creation that was fresh, gooey and scrumptious. I wish Columbus had something this original.

I stopped at the Foxy hoping to get one last green chile fix before leaving New Mexico. What a terrible mistake! First, I expected a drive-in to be relatively quick. Not necessarily fast-food quick, mind you; but it took over 20 minutes from ordering to receive my food--and the place was well less than half full. The "Mexican" food was neither that nor anything resembling traditional New Mexican; rather, it was a piss-poor imitation of Tex-Mex. The enchilada sauce was a rusty brown, the tortillas a soggy gray, and the ground beef looked as though it came out of a can. All of it was incredibly bland, tasting like nothing so much as wet cardboard. The whole thing came in a tiny little tinfoil tray like a 1950s TV dinner, with no rice or beans, just a little pile of shredded iceberg lettuce on one end. I'd sooner eat Taco Bell than repeat that meal. After choking it down because I'd already lost too much time to go somewhere else, I ordered a chocolate malt, hoping to wash the previous non-flavors out of my mouth and memory. Alas, what I got contained no trace of malt powder; rather, it had the flavor and consistency of cheap vanilla soft-serve mixed with Hershey's syrup. Yuck! Somehow this place has stayed open since 1956. I hope and pray that it has sharply declined in the recent past, and that people in Clovis don't actually LIKE its current fare!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
