Those of us who live in the the communities north of the ABQ metro area happy to have this Dion's available. A nice location, well laid out, with typically friendly staff. Great food, consistent, great value.

I read somewhere this was one of the most profitable pizza chains, I can see why. They've survived the great pizza war with Nunzio's, all the big box guys and the recession of '08. They remain consistent and do business where others fail. This weekend we stopped into the Bernalillo location, the service, food and atmosphere were just as they should be even though the whole place was very busy for lunch. It's a cool place for the family each location has a kids step up where the pizza creation process happens. They sell by the slice but a fresh baked whole pie is IMO better. Passers buy, stop in for a bite of a local chain that does its job well.

This location is a family favorite. We always order a pepperoni pizza, turkey salad, turkey sub and chips, and a gallon of sweet tea. Our food is take out and is always on time and taste impeccable. Good job Dion's we enjoy the great food and service.

Once again Dions has messed up our order. This makes it three times in a row they have made an error on our order. Common Dions. We love your food but the service lately has gone downhill.

I Love it Dion's, New Mexico loves Dion's and here's why: I love a constant! The pizza is consistently great. It's great at any location and every time I go. That means a great deal to me. The toppings are good and there are plenty to chose from. I am honestly not a person who eats every piece end to end. I'm fickle about my crusts. In fact, if the crust isn't good, I'll leave it, but here I actually eat it all. NM kids will tell you the secret is dipping the crust into the Dion's signature ranch dressing or pouring it over the entire slice. The salads are actually the reason for that dressing. I've found they are great served there or when you open them at home. Every time. The salad comes in bowl sizes that make sense and my favorite, the chef, has fresh egg, cheese and tomato along with generous slices of ham. I love that you get tongs to scoop your salad!! This may seem small, but I can't help it. I love it. I think a reason for their success is that they only do a few things and they do it well. Pizza, subs, salads and their drinks are what they are known for. Yes, you can get good fruit cups, good chips, cookies and dressings, but I think doing the main sellers well is what makes them great. You see too many places trying to do too much and it fails. There was/is a place on the SE corner of San Mateo & Lomas that does Greek/Mexican? I say find something you do well and improve on it daily. The place is usually clean and friendly to groups, singles, couples of every age. I've always had good service. Seating is indoors and some outdoor. No loud music or TVs to compete with your conversations. Kids can watch the pizza being made in back and they schedule tours for them too. The two biggest gripes I know of about them is 1) No wi-fi [Kind of absurd considering so many young people visit there] 2) Nutrition info is not posted. [You can get it from the main office] I've also heard of ppl getting a mix up; like a cheese pizza vs. a combo. I check my order everywhere I go in every city. Sometimes the wait can be a bit much for some, but I haven't experienced anything unreasonable. Any blog, post or email that asks what we love or miss about New Mexico is sure to mention Dion's. It's that big of a deal here. My typical order is: A full chef salad and either 1 or 2 slices (depending on hunger pangs) & the lemonade or Arnold Palmer. The slice for me is usually mushroom, green chile and a meat or the special w/ green pepper vs. olive. Dressing is the low-fat ranch b/c it helps keep the chunk down.

We love Dion's and wish they were everywhere we travel. The service at this location can be hit or miss but when there is a mistake they go above and beyond to fix it. The staff is lovely and the food is fantastic...the sandwiches and the pizza make my mouth water. LOVE the walnut brownies!!

Horrible service, food even worse. To begin with, the girl at the cash register was rude and incompetent. I ordered a slice with green chile and beef, and a gourmet chicken salad with vinaigrette over the phone. I had to tell her my name 3 times when I got there, mind you, I have a very simple name...she then asked me what my order was and when I repeated it back to her, she looked confused. She then disappeared for 5 minutes or so, came back with a shriveled slice of pizza with dry hard balls of beef on top. When I picked up the slice at my table, they all rolled off onto the plate...I then decided to stick to the salad, which had about 5 pieces of lettuce in it and when I reached for my dressing- it was not the raspberry vinaigrette I had ordered over the phone, but ranch. I went up to exchange it and was met by the same young lady who told me, "oh that's because we're out of the vinaigrette." And just proceeded to stare-no apology...Well, thanks for telling me before you just hand me off with a cold shriveled pizza and sad little salad...I then decided to mention to her at this point that the meatballs on the pizza were dry and rolled off like hard little balls onto my plate when I picked it up, which was a mistake because she right away got very defensive with an attitude said, well if you don't like it, then I'll get my manager to speak to you. I agreed. Even bigger mistake. The manager proceeded to actually argue with me and copped his own attitude, meanwhile defending the attitude of the cashier. UNNACCEPTABLE!!! After arguing back and forth for a bit, he finally, begrudgingly asked me if I wanted a new slice of Pizza, to which I answered "No" and told him that I expect better quality and better customer service. I am all for employing our youth, however, they must be mature enough to accept constructive criticism and realize what "customer service" actually means. I will be taking my business to the Dion's in Rio Rancho on High Resort, which is also staffed by teenagers, but have always been helpful, and competent.

Horrible the last two times that I've been here. Last time, they burnt my pizza. This time, I waited 19 minutes for a Greek salad to go. Turns out, nobody was making salads.

Not only was the food and service great, but the manager went above and beyond in order to help us out. I lost something while in the restaurant and had been running in and out of the restaurant trying to find it. He noticed us outside and came out to offer his help. He then searched the restaurant with me (even going through the trash) and ultimately found my missing bag. I believe he told me his name was John (I'm sorry that slipped out of my head!) Thank you so much for exceptional customer service. The kids also LOVED watching the food get made.

The customer service was friendly and efficient. Let's face it this isn't the best food ever but pizza is here is less than $8 for a 12" pie so you kinda have to take that into account. For a quick stop and inexpensive lunch I would suggest coming here. If you're looking for high end pizza don't come here.

Simple review here. Get the subs, NOT the pizza. The subs taste fantastic, the pizza tastes like something from Chucky Cheese's..just flat bland cheesy crap. Forget about reheating some later!! Bleh!! The subs are really REALLY good though!! I've had the Turkey provolone, the pastrami, and the meatball marinara....sooooooo good!!

Bunch of kids who do not care about getting an order correct. My husband was made to wait 20 minutes before they told him our phone in order hadn't even been started.
