I eat here all the time! Food is so good! Can be quick if not too busy. But can take some time too, be patient, it's worth it! The original location is in Belen! Still open everyday! Los Lunas added a location too. Go enjoy! Plus...owners are super friendly and respect every single customer. If something's not right, they will correct it.

My big sister introduced us to Rutilio's, and we're glad she did! We live in Las Cruces, and now stop, whenever we pass through Belen. They've a large selection of foods, and all of it is delicious! We're usually too full to enjoy desert, but Kim secretly told one of the staff (she knows them all), we were celebrating our 24th anniversary! They brought us a scoop of their famous fried ice cream! It was fantastic! They not only have delicious food, but they have great people working at Rutilio's! If you like food, you're sure to find something you'll enjoy! Also, they serve breakfast all day, and I can eat breakfast for every meal! Rufilio's became even better, when I found out they serve breakfast all day!!

Really bad food. They took 5 minutes and threw ingredients together and it tasted like that. I couldn't eat it. Really, it's not good. The ambiance wasn't either, screaming kids running in and out of the back. Very nice waitress, hence the one.

Full disclosure: I know the owners. I may eat here often and some think I might say nice things because I know the owners. However, I do think as a person who LOVES to eat this restaurant is very good. It's in the Belen, NM outskirts of Albuquerque. I'm originally from California and the food in New Mexico in General is different. I've enjoyed eating breakfast here many times. Huevos rancheros with green chili is my favorite. I have also eaten the carve adovada plate and it's good as well. The carne adovada burrito smothered in red chili is another favorite of mine. Not being from New Mexico I had never heard of Fried Ice Cream. Now that's a dessert I can get used to. I'm still not sure how it's made. Ice cream fried somehow. It's sooo good. The folks in the area make it their place to go in Belen. Enjoy!
