Reviewing because there's no entry for the Latté Stout on BeerAdvocate... The Latté Stout (seasonal as of now) was excellent ... a creamy mouthfeel with an exquisite balance of coffee and chocolate notes (the coffee isn't nearly as assertive as other coffee beers I've had, and this beer was better for it). The Double IPA was also very solid. The bartender said it was well over 100 IBUs (!), but I have to question that assessment. Maybe that's because I'm a "hophead", but I thought it was a well-balanced beer with some light, hoppy citrus notes -- particularly tartness of grapefruit -- and underlying malty sweetness. Go for the great beer, go for the service (the bartenders are incredibly friendly), and go to witness the majesty of Phred, quite possibly Livingston's most famous puffer fish.

The staff and brewer were very friendly. We were heading to Yellowstone and they gave us a lot of recommendations. They had a great session beer as well as flavorful beers with interesting flavor profiles. They also have a great mead made from alfalfa honey. Their coconut shrimp is delicious, I didn't think it needed the cocktail sauce. We also had the burger with cheddar mixed in with the patty, wrapped in bacon. It was good, but I would have liked it with some tomato and lettuce and a toasted bun.

With the new owners the beer has gotten really good. The locally sourced food is creative and fantastic. The beer selection is very wide and varied. The one downside is that my vegetarian wife and kids don't have any options really which keeps us from going more often. Even a veggie burger would be good. Other than that, it's a great addition to the local foody scene.

Nice place tucked away in Livingston, Montana. Find it and you might like it. Lots of beer choices.

The beer is good but the food alone is worth the trip, amazing burger! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and so coming back.

Who doesn't love a little nautical kitsch? This place is truly a gem. The beer is some of the best in Montana. Neptune's excels at Belgian style beers. If they have the She May Knot on tap, you're in luck. The barleywine is some of the best you can ever hope to have. The atmosphere is inviting. The regulars and staff are friendly. Stop by and prepare to stay a while. This place is more than worth it.

A nice surprise when we stopped to get gas en route from Chicago to Seattle. Good beers, decent Thai food, and a really nice patio out front where we were allowed to have our pets. If we ever come back this way we will seek out Neptune's. I recommend the White Dragon.

Stopped in here after a Sunday drive on the advice of a friend, and ordered a burgers and a beer. Wasn't really impressed. The guy at the bar couldn't quit talking about how the beer I ordered was for "those" kind of people. The food took an hour and was okay, but nothing to write home about. There was no salt and pepper on the tables which was kind of odd. Overall, probably a better place for locals than out-of-towners.

We stopped in on our way back from Yellowstone both craving a beer. With hot and tired feet, we walked right on in and "bellied up" to the bar. We were immediately served and offered samples of anything that was on tap. My husband had the White Dragon Belgium White and I the seasonal APA. Both were great, but the owner insisted on pouring us samples. How could we refuse?!? The Chocolate Cream Porter was very good, and I'm usually not fan of darker beers. He just kept the samples comin'. If that wasn't enough, he gave us a tour of his brewing room. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and makes great beer!!! We would definitely go back. But next time we'll make sure we bring our growler!!!

This place was awesome! We're currently on a four month road trip from the central coast of California. We stopped in here for lunch after hearing they have good sushi. It seriously rivaled the sushi in our hometown of Santa Barbara. The beer was very reasonably priced, and a growler fill ranges from $9-11. Definitely check it out! Also, fish and chips looked amazing!

Great food! I never would have expected to find good sushi in Livingston. We loved the hamachi.

Ah, I'm first?! Cool. OK, we stayed near the Crazies for our honeymoon and decided to go into Livingston one day. We were looking for a bite and I spotted a sign for Neptune's.....and we passed it. We went into the main part of town and a bunch of the restaurants were closed during the siesta hours of 2 and 5. So, the hubby called Neptune's and they were serving food. We decided to go back for this reason and also because we like off the path types of places. We had a couple of their Shark Bite IPA's, very good! We also ordered the Wasabi Balls & Thai Hot Wings. The Wasabi Balls were good, but the husband ate one and thought it was way too hot (I thought the wings were hotter), turns out some of the balls had a lot of wasabi and some had barely any. Either way, they were pretty good fried goodness for our tummies. The Thai Hot Wings were tasty. We were originally going to order the regular hot wings, but our server suggested these. The flavor was really good. Portions were hearty & we bought a cool logo glass. Thanks Neptune's!

Stopped in for a beer and something to eat. It's obvious they cater to the locals because the "Out of towner" service was slow, the food was ...... and the beer was mediocre at best. The owner seemed nice enough but not worth the stop if you are doing a tour of breweries.

Great little brewery/pub. I really like the fact that they offer some Thai cusine which I think is a first for Livingston, too bad it is tucked out of the way on the East end of town, more people need to do a little exploring and make it point to give them some business.

Everytime I pass through Livingston I have to stop here. It's not just because I like the food and atmosphere. It's because I love the beer. I like darker beers so I really enjoy their Porter and Scotch ales but any friends that are with me always seem to enjoy what they choose. If your a beer lover this place is definitely worth searching out.

A nice local brewery with eclectic decor for the area. Large portions for the money...wide menu selection...good micro brew...poor service.

The Latte Stout is not just my favorite beer at the brewery, but my favorite of any beer; I can't get enough of it. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff is always happy to see you. The sushi is just amazing and I can never go in without grabbing an order of fried pickles. Never had a bad experience and love how community oriented they are. I will be back again and again.

Local flavor! Great brews, friendly people, sushi(!) and board games. What's not to love? Glad that a local recommended this place to us. Check it out.

Great beer. Great music. Decent food. Loved the chicken sliders. The Fish Tacos were very bland and a little too fishy. Service was friendly.

Amazing brewery with delicious food! Small business owners went above and beyond to make our experience great! If we lived here it would be our regular spot! My man brews his own beer and is pretty hard to impress! His favorite was the Amber! Thanks Neptune!
