Wed 730pm 8-5-15 First I have to say the chips, salsa, cabage dish was good. Sadly that is all I can say that was good. I sat at the bar and do not know if they really had a bartender. 3 different people working the bar area and tables. Little confusing and makes for poor services. The bar top was empty except for me and there was no one to be found to serve me or ask if I needed anything or if the food was ok. During my time I watched several people wait to either be seated or place a to go order and walk out because no one helped them. As far as the food is concered it was horrible. It was bland. The meat which was carnitas de res (sirloin tips? More like strips), which tasted as if it had been boiled in plain unflavored water. The onions peppers and mushrooms which I added were unseasoned liked the meat and bland. The rice was ok and the guacamole was good. I love Mexican food and have ate it across country at small towns and big cities amd have had good and bad. I live in Arizona and have had great traditional Mexican food and what I jad tonight does not come close. I read the reviews and picked this place based on them went there. I am a chef and I would give them another try because of my culinary background but I would be cautious. Its sad to say I would rate Taco Bell or Taco Johns above them based on my experience.

Good but unremarkable family style Mexican. Service was good and the decor is nice. Our favorite dish was the soft tacos w chicken (tacos carbon); it was not greasy and had good flavors.

Definitely a $$. Most entrees are $15 and up. Combo plates and burritos are less. The food was great though and the atmosphere was good. Service was friendly and fast.

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday for the first time. Authentic Mexican food! Our plates arrived piping hot and the salsa and chips were excellent appetizers to start. I have been looking for an authentic Mexican place like this since moving to Montana and it's safe to say I have finally found it! SO good!

It's good for where it is. I live in Los Angeles but have family in Livingston, I didn't think it was gonna be good when I walked in but I was pleasantly surprised.

After a long day at Yellowstone Park we decided we wanted Mexican food and found this charming restaurant. What can I say? They were wonderful. Nice and simple but great tasting food. The staff was super friendly, wonderful service and everything we ordered was so good. My family couldn't stop raving and trust me these kids eat plenty of Mexican food in New York City where we live. I had the chicken fajita (yum), my family had burritos, guacamole, rice, beans, steak and enchiladas etc.. everyone was happy and full. When they are happy, I'm happy :)

Decided to eat at this restaurant based on Yelp. Quick and friendly service, plenty of menu choices, portions are big enough for one entree to satisfy two adults. Prices were reasonable as we fed our family of five for $35.00. (Without tip). The only reason I gave it four stars was the food didn't blow us away. It was very good, but we have had better. If we were local we would come back again.

Love this place. Service is super fast, food is always hot and the portions are huge. Tons of options to choose from the prices are decent. I suggest the burritos.

My family lives in Livingston and I visit them twice a year. I make sure we eat here each time I visit. I love this place! Everything on the menu is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly and festive and the service is on point. I always get the bean and cheese burrito and it is delicious.

I enjoyed an authentic atmosphere and the service was fantastic. I had the Steak Mexicano. The sauce was tasty with just the right amount of mushrooms (lots), but the steak strips were too well done and dry. I will go back the next time I'm in town to try some of the other plates.

Love this little jem. Super fast service. I had the veggie burrito, which was yummy. My husband had the verde burrito which was mostly pork and good. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was impeccable.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
