I used to enjoy this restaurant growing up in the Havre area. The tomato soup was about my favorite thing to eat. The service was always friendly. I have stopped in 3 times in the past 2 years and it has been terrible. Most noticeable is how filthy the restaurant is. The front is lined with big windows that are all disgusting. The carpet is not just worn out but beyond dirty. seating surfaces in tough shape as well. Most disappointing is the once reliable tomato soup was not nearly as good as it used to be and tasted different all 3 visits.

Typical 24-hour diner. That's really all it is. Stopped in for a late breakfast and coffee one Sunday. Service was prompt and on par with other places in town. My french toast and eggs came out fast and tasted alright. Coffee was as expected, not great. Most of the booths in the place seemed to have ripped vinyl, like mine. You could do better in town but if it's the only thing open, just know that it's Denny's without the corporate backing which in this case, could go a long way.

Little run down inside. But great food and service makes up for it. Wish we still had our 4B's at home. :)

The food was alright, not great. Don't eat the Eggs Benedict you'll be disappointed. The coffee was also terrible. By the way 9.75 for a cheese burger with no fries? Don't stop here keep driving.

Sort of like a bad Denny's, but more expensive.

Pros: tomato soup, it's good; the staff was friendly and prompt Cons: too many My late wife's cousin lived in Havre for a minute about 5 years ago. When she found out I was planning on spending the night there, while traveling to the west coast on US-2, she implored me to stop at 4B's and try the tomato soup and the chocolate pie. After I arrived in Harve, I read the other 2 reviews that were here on Yelp, and went there to eat anyway. The exterior looks like a dive...but so do most of the places in Havre, so I didn't give it much thought. The decor inside is dated by a couple decades. The vinyl seats in the booths are fraying around the edges and some are ripped and the foam is poking out. The carpet doesn't look like it's been cleaned in years. Yet, I stayed. I ordered the tomato soup, chicken fried steak, coleslaw, cornbread, and chocolate pie. The tomato soup was actually good. They sell it by the quart if you want to take some home. I've even seen the recipe for it online. That's where the good ends. My chicken fried steak was overdone. Considering there were only 4 other people in the restaurant, it's pretty much an unforgivable sin to leave something in the fryer too long. To be unique, they put the gravy on the plate first and then set the entree on top of it...or maybe that's a technique used to hide the gravy. The gravy was very pale, I won't go into detail regarding what it looked like it was, and it tasted of flour and cornstarch....calling it bland would be a compliment. The cornbread was warm, but it came with a container of whipped margarine. Had I known it wasn't butter, I would have left it off...lesson learned, taste the spread before spreading the bread. The cornbread was one of those pre-made loaves that you can get just about anywhere. Had it not been for the margarine, it might have been the most edible thing on the plate. The coleslaw was OK. It was slightly sweet, creamy, and didn't have that sharp acidic tang that so many pre-produced slaws have. The chocolate pie...it had a topping that was reminiscent of Cool Whip, but not as good. Whipped cream would have been better. The crust was dry and you could tell it was not made in the restaurant. The chocolate filling, I've had better pudding out of a box. All in all, the soup was the winner. I'd say order a quart of it and go back to your hotel room to enjoy it there. I'll give this place 2 stars because the soup was good and the staff was friendly.

This place is one of the more forgettable diners you'll find. There's nothing that stands out and makes you want to come back. Very cookie cutter menu, weird floor layout with waitress stations in the middle of the room, not very clean, bland decor... No thanks. Also our waitress was annoying. One of those people who will tell you her life's story and whine to you about all her hardships. Very unprofessional. The food was ok. I won't be back.

Worst service ever! It took 5 minutes to seat us and there were only 4 other people eating in the whole joint. The waitress had a horrible attitude and should be fired. We ended up walking out after 10 minutes of sitting there. If it wasn't for the tomato soup (awesome by the way), I would never go back.

Had the classic breakfast this morning And I was a little skeptical due to the reviews but In fact really enjoyed it except ill ask for crispy hash browns next time. The bacon was better than the average.
