Some of the best BBQ and Beans I've ever had! If you're in the mood for BBQ and you're in the area you've gotta make a pit-stop here.....pun intended.

This is my first time visiting montana with my boyfriend. We went here on Christmas Eve and it was actually very impressive :) huge meal portions, cute variety of bbq sauces. Seems like it's family owned so limited wait staff, but there were minimal people so service was still great. Id definitely come again!

This is a favorite lunch place for my husband and I and we both enjoy it. One thing that really impresses me is the quality of ingredients, very fresh and flavorful. Some of my favorite items are the catfish fillets, Carolina slaw and the sweet potato fries...love those! It's a great value too, especially for the portion size. Always a pleasure to visit there, the couple who own and run the place are good people.

We stumbled across this place looking for a place that was open on the 4th of July and it was great! The service was so friendly and welcoming and the food was fantastic. I got the Trail Wreck, which was delicious, but I could only eat half because it was so big! The best part was the variety of sauces to try. Overall great place to eat.

Monday night, 6 pm and out of brisket and chicken. 2 staples of a barbecue restaurant. Smoked turkey was extremely juicy and full of flavor. Ribs were also good. Baked beans were assorted beans that were sweet and filling. Mac and cheese tasted a bit old. Corn bread and honey butter were great! Good food, just can't believe they ran out of some basics. Finally, the menu on the website is outdated. Only 1 side with each order and prices have gone up. I'll try this place again and hope they have their website updated and food ready to serve that is listed on the menu.

My new favorite place to eat in Hamilton. I'm a big barbecue fan. I like all varieties from Memphis to Texan to Kansas City to North Carolina and everything in between. The world is getting smaller and you don't have to go to the region for great, authentic food any more (my favorite Kansas City Barbecue place is in Issaquah Washington and I've eaten at a lot of Kansas City restaurants). Moose Creek is a perfect example. We've had the Pulled Pork sandwich, the Beef Brisket, Texas Burnt Ends and the unbelievably, incredible Trail Wreck. Its all done right. Its also fun to try the different sauces, they make 5 different ones in house and each is unique. For desert, the peach cobbler was amazing.

This place is simply amazing! Great hometown feel. It's super clean, the staff is super friendly, and the food is super super delicious! You must try the sloppy Bob, it's rib eye and bacon ground together in an amazing sloppy sauce. The brisket is equally as amazing, tender, moist, delicious!! And then there's the peach cobbler, OMG the peach cobbler. My mouth is drooling just writing this. It was hands down the best cobbler I have EVER had! Other people have said this place was pricey, I believe that you get what you pay for. And it's not that pricey. My husband and I each had a sandwich with a side, both had Pepsi, and a cobbler and it was $26. I think that's pretty darn good, especially for what it is! Life is good now that I know this place exists!

The variety of sauces are great and varied. Bill Wright is creative and knows the full range of bar-b-que! The salad bar and homemade soups are refreshing and very good. The variety of meats are great and of very good quality. The Billy Bob Burger is one of the best in the area.

I was totally surprised at having a GREAT BBQ place in Hamilton. The food was excellent (Pulled Pork) and very friendly service. Thumbs Up, I would definitely eat there again on my next trip to Montana!!!

Loved all of the wide variety of sauces on the tables. Fun to try lots of different styles with one meal. And the best sign is that the meats were good enough without any sauce at all! BBQ beans were terrific and the vinegar-based slaw was great. My only complaint was that the cornbread was griddled (and ended up a tad black) and I would've liked it a lot more just warmed up. Excellent service, really nice lady working the day we ate. Maybe seems a bit pricey but it's hard sometimes for folks to see the hours (and hours and hours) put into smoked pork and brisket.

Smoked meats. For me it is a matter of taste and style. My wife and I do not care for smoked meats, but many do; so it your preference is richly smoked turkey, chicken, sausage, beef brisket and baby backed, short and rib ends this is your place. The menu offers sandwiches, plates and a whole section on serious catering, like for 100s of people down to family packages. Portions are HUGE. I ordered a two meat plate with potato salad and fried okra and three of us could have had trouble eating it all. Very generous. Prices appear a bit high, but are reasonable considering the portions. The stuffed pork loin with sausage was not pork loin wrapped around three sausages, rather than ground sausage rolled into it, which would have been more moist and flavorful than the dry relatively flavorless (other than the smoke). Pulled pork was excellent. Beef brisket was tender, but was just smoked meat. More time in the smoker and you would have had jerky. We begged a pork rib and it was also dry, smoked and had a nice rub on it. This not a fall off the bone kind of rib place. They offer 5 sauces, ranking from sweet to hot and including a mustard and a thin, but excellent hot sauce. I would prefer a moister meat, like Memphis or Kansas City style; however, if you like a good smoking, come to Moose Creek.

Wow! Delicious barbecue! I ordered the brisket dinner cooked in sweet sauce with onion rings and French fries. The mustard-flavored sauce was also delicious for dipping. A huckleberry shake "capped the well" and was the highlight of my meal. I tried my husband's Burnt Ends, and that dish was delicious as well.

My dad and I came here for dinner after someone else recommended the place. Everything from the service to the food was great. We split the two person sampler, which was MORE than enough food (it probably could have fed 3-4 people) so we came home with plenty leftovers. Apparently Hamilton only gives out 10 liquor licenses within its city limits so unfortunately, this place doesn't have beer or wine, but that shouldn't stop you from coming here. I'll definitely be back!
