I really like this place. The sauces they have are really good. I love the Teriyaki Sauce! I usually go with the chicken and rice bowl. I like the veggies but think they would be better if they had more of a grilled flavor rather than floppy steamed taste.

I think you have to rate based on price paid. So this is worth more than 3 for sure. If you want something quick and tasty that contained recognizable meat and real vegetables this is just the place to go. Maybe no date night place but super for lunch and a fast dinner.

Consistently decent food. Lots of flavor and lots of veggies. Super good healthy lunch if you're by target. Skip the subway.

Wasn't too impressed with this place. Like other reviewers, it sure beats getting fast food for lunch but the quality is lacking. Portions are small for the price. And I would recommend take out, the dining in setting is just plain weird.

Stopped by Samurai Sam's for a quick lunch, didn't even know this place existed before. The food was pretty good, better than I expected considering the place could use an update and is rather sad looking inside. I just ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, it was filling and well priced at just under $7. The atmosphere felt a little weird to me, we were there with about 4 other people and it was rather quiet. Would go back again to get take out, but not a place I'd plan to go sit down and eat at again, just didn't like the atmosphere.

Not bad for the price. Soba noodles with chicken was good and cost around $5. As far as fast food places go, this is a nice change to the other chains out there and probably a lot healthier.

Beef in teriyaki bowl was dry and over cooked. Hard to mess up white rice but it was slightly mushy. We were very disappointed. The price didn't help either. I hate writing bad reviews but this place deserved it.

My favorite restaurant in Bozeman! I get the Chicken bowl with brown rice and all white meat. The chicken is always juicy and good. My favorite thing is the hot mustard sauce. If you like wasabi, you will love their spicy mustard sauce. They stopped serving it for a while and I wrote the owner a note and he brought it right back for me! Now that's a great place. My husband gets the same chicken bowl except he gets the low carb option without rice, just lots of vegetables. I prefer the rice. I also love the egg rolls. Really crispy and good.

Samurai Sam's is a goo place to go for a quick, reasonably priced teryaki lunch or dinner. The food is fresh, not over cooked (except the eggrolls) and a good value for the money. The thing that sells this place to me is their sauce. You can get it bottled to take home with you and it's that good.

The service suck. The food was cold. The cashier forgot one of our orders and when we told him what had happen. He was to busy listening to his I pod. The 18 year old little boy was very rude. We also paid $ 25.00 for two steak bowls. We never even finished. He also turned a family with kids away at 7:30 pm saying they were closed and they weren't.

Mediocre food for the price. Had the all white chicken bowl and I liked that there were several vegetables involved (carrots, cabbage, broccoli and zucchini) but the flavor leaves a lot to be desired. Husband had steak and the meat was very tasty.
