Bruno's was a disappointment. I went with people that raved about it and the authentic Italian fare. What I got was poorly cooked pasta, greasy appetizers, and decent pizza. I got the Gorgonzola chicken and the thing that stuck out to me was the real lack of good seasoning for the meat. The chicken tasted frozen to me. The pasta was undercooked and stuck together. We also got the artichoke dip which was brimming with a layer of grease. The white pizza was fine, nothing special though. I don't think I'll go back by choice overall. Decor is nice, but frankly I think you're better off at Ciao Mambo.

The white pizza......remember it fondly from several decades ago when I lived in Billings. Had it again today and oh my oh my. Everyone else's pasta looked and smelled heavenly.

Only getting two stars because the service was good. Way over priced for frozen pasta and tiny portions. Red sauce was burned you could taste it. The owner should visit philly and maybe get a sense of how and American Italian restaurant. Olive Garden or Johnny corinos or what ever it's called has to be better. Pass it up is my suggestion.

My husband and I went to Bruno's for dessert. We had the raspberry cheesecake and the Baily's cheesecake. Both were incredible. They were fresh and mild, worth every penny. They were served with runny "whipped" cream on the side, which was strange. What was not incredible was the service. Our waitress did not refill our glasses, did not ask about the food, and seemed very aloof and irritated. The atmosphere was also very cheap-looking and generic. And dark. But the food was so good.

Food is not that great tasting. I got the scallops and it had no flavor and the scallops were over cooked to the point it was like chewing rubber. I am giving it 2 stars because it had an Italian atmosphere and great service, with huge portions.

First of all, being Italian....it's hard for me to get really decent food...besides Mamma's kitchen. What I loved about this place is the food tasted fresh and did not taste like it came out of a can. Toni, the owner came to our table several times to make sure that everything was tasting good, I had told her that I was an Italian and was going to critique the food she seemed pretty excited to hear what I had to say. I ordered an appetizer to taste the meatballs and sausage, I was impressed it wasn't overpowering in red sauce where you could actually taste the meat, huge points in my book. Whenever I travel, or for that matter when I'm at home I don't like going to chain restaurants I always like looking for the restaurant off the main beat, with this restaurant I truly can say that I found a gem!!

This seems to be one place where what I order makes a difference. We stuck with the housemade pasta. Linguine and spaghetti and housemade sauce. The fresco was good and the carbonara excellent. Perfect after a long day of travel. Super friendly staff too!

This restaurant was conveniently located near our hotel, so we tried it baed on a front desk recommendation. The portions were big but the quality was not very good. I had the lasagna. It was swimming in gigantic pools of grease and it was terribly bland. If there is an Olive Garden nearby, I would definitely go there instead. The food wouldn't have bothered me so much if the service was better. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, yet the service seemed slow and unwelcoming. It was a generally unpleasant dining experience.

went here for the our anniversary. staff was young but very nice and did their job well. ordered chicken Alfredo for myself and a chicken carbonaria for the wife the Alfredo was pretty good, pretty typical for a restaurant but the the wife's plate which was a similar built sauce but was not the same sauce, was very flavorful very rich, very good. i wound up mixing some of hers in mine and made my plate even better. i will be back to this place next time i am in billings. thank you.

They took great care of our family of ten on a busy Saturday nite...we ordered beer, wines & water for all...green salads, pizza, small & large portions of melt-in-your mouth food, baskets full of warmed seasoned breadcuts...you choose the pasta, the sauce, the meat, the cheese, even gluten free, ask about their delicious specials.... yum...yum...yum! The staff....all the staff make sure you are havin' a great food experience...thanks so much Brunos...everyone at our table agreed we'll be back again and again.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
