I traveled with friends to buy shoes at Austin's. It was lunchtime so we stepped into JT's. What a fantastic place! I had Fatoosh with chicken swarma- a perfect lemon dressed arugula salad with pita chips topped with delicious Mediterranean spiced chicken pieces. I will have to come back for this again. They were out of baklava, so I have another reason to return.

My husband is the finickiest person I have ever met. It was a complete shock when he told me he wanted to try JT's. I had tried it before when it was in the tiny building at the 72/Cass intersection. We tried a couple of simple dishes. Mine was a chicken shawarma. The shawarma, hummus, kababs and baba ghannouj are pretty tasty. I have made hummus at home and mine agreed with my palate better than the hummus made here. Mine wasn't as tart. We've ate here a few times and each has been at my husband's request. Still can't get over that! The owner was very friendly and spoke to us as we finished eating. He asked if there was anything he needed to do to improve the food or service. We couldn't come up with anything. There is absolutely no other place like this in town. Their Facebook page has been listing items that seem out of place, but I will have to try them. Fish tacos, chicken Parm and angel hair pasta dish?? Doesn't sound Greek, but WTH do I know. To Each Their Own.

We love this place. We lived in Saudi Arabia for a while and enjoyed eating the Shawarma wraps sold there by street vendors. We could not believe our eyes when we saw the menu here. Very authentic EASTERN Mediterranean food cooked by the real deal chef. Unpretentious, reasonably clean (that's why it doesn't get the fifth star) dining area. We eat here regularly. Grilled veggies, fatoosh salad, falafel sandwich, ayers meat pie, meza plates, gyros, kebabs, fish tacos, etc, etc, ALL good.

Awesome food and service! We didn't think we would ever find Mediterranean in north MS upon our move, but yay we did! The fish tacos and fish pasta are so refreshing and lite! Give it a try and you will be glad!

ganoush was the best we've had (made from scratch) note that the facility isn't fancy, but the eating space is nice enough

I make frequent trips to Corinth for business. The town has plenty of decent places, but I had never found my go-to spot until I stumbled upon this place a couple years ago. This is the best Med food in Mississippi. The vegetarian platters remind me of Mona's in New Orleans. They have the typical burgers and fries if falafel and hummus is not your thing. It's not much on atmosphere, but the owner is really nice and the service is good. I'll keep coming back for the food!

Mediterranean food out of this world. Best food I have ever eaten. Chicken kabob, meat pie, kefta, swarma sauce, all out of this world. Tip... Ask for swarma sauce with everything. Alex the owner has lots of culinary talent! On top of my lifetime best food!! No corkage fee! Bring your own wine. They do sell beer.

I love this restaurant. Plain & simple. Everything I have ever eaten here has been wonderful. I have not tried the whole menu. I usually stick to kebabs, salads, and starters. There are Meza 1 and Meza 2 starter plates that give a great variety of their starter offerings on one platter. They are generous and more than enough for one person as an entree if desired. The baba ghannouj is one of my favorites as well as the labneh cheese. They do a turnip pickle of which I cannot get enough. I also love the foul medammas extra, which is fava beans topped with falafel, feta cheese, and tomatoes. It is a meal itself! For these dips et al, they offer a choice of homemade pita chips or fresh pita bread. Both are delish. My "go to" is the fattoush salad with a chicken kebab or kefta. The salads are Jethro Bodeen and I saw on last visit they now do a half order. The salads are fresh!fresh!fresh!! They are full of fresh diced veg as well, with their homemade pita chips filling in for croutons. My most recent visit I tried the half order gyro salad and was very impressed. There was plenty of gyro meat and feta cheese to go around and the salad was still generous even at the half order. It was a SLIGHT tad more than I could eat at a single sitting, but I persevered to clean my plate. It was just that good! I don't know how Alex makes his dressings, but the House dressing is fresh, lemony, garlicky, yet light. Not overbearing. Just perfect! My kebabs have always been juicy and tender. They use squash in addition to the standard tomato, onion, bell pepper. Seasonings are spot on. I have tried the chicken and beef shwarma and the homemade meat pie in the past. It is all wonderful. I need to branch out, but I find myself CRAVING certain items. Meals are cooked to order and fresh, so there is a short, reasonable wait. This is not "fast food." The service is always friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is in a nondescript strip mall, but inside they have nicely painted wall scenes as if looking out of your Arabian castle into your desert courtyard. There is fabulous ethnic background music which adds to the ambiance. Unfortunately, I've never made room for dessert, but I hear they are wonderful. I always leave satiated.

This place has the potential to be a five star experience, but there are a few things that threw me off. First, when you walk in you are immediately overwhelmed by the smell of smoke. This is a major turn off for me! it gave me an instant headache(that being said, I am very sensitive to the smell of smoke). I wanted to start with something inexpensive on my first visit to see if it was worth the money, so I ordered a beef shawarma sandwich. The meat and sauce were both delicious. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. BUT THE BREAD...instead of a pillowy soft and fresh pita, I got something dry and chewy that seemed like it was a store bought and stale. For me the bread is a big part of the experience. I have had a lot of this type of food in easternEurope and I never had a pita that was even close to that tough and thin. I would love to go back and try an entree with rice because the meat was good enough to make me return, but the bread was a huge disappointment.

We like to stop here while driving between Memphis and Huntsville on 72. Really good Arabic food! The foul is as good as any I ate while living in Palestine, with a little spice. The hummus, shawarma, salads and falafel are all tasty. The only knock is that they charge $1 for water.

This place could go toe-to-toe with any Mediterranean restaurant you'll find in a metropolitan area. I always make plans to stop here for lunch or dinner when I'm in the area. You certainly won't find a better option in Corinth! I haven't had a bad dish yet so choose whatever you like. You can't go wrong! The prices are very reasonable so order at least a few dishes. The restaurant is small but I've never been there when they were anywhere close to full so there's never a wait. Hopefully this doesn't mean that they'll be out of business soon. Mississippi needs more, not less, of these establishments so put down your fried chicken wing and go enjoy some healthy and delicious food and support some great local merchants! And I love that their closing time is listed as "Ehhhh around 8 pm." Love the laid back Greek attitude!!

JT's is the best ethnic food in Corinth and is a good place to go if you've had your share of the great BBQ here. Their kafta, schwarma, and hummus are exceptional and rival the great Mediterranean food in metro Detroit where I grew up. The wait staff is very friendly and I will definitely go here again before I leave the area.

The place was really great! Chris and I found it by accident on the way to Pickwick Lake. I have to admit Chris made me go as always I wanted Mexican...But I am glad he made me stop. The staff was very nice the falafels, hummus and kabobs were great. We will defintley stop in again on our next lake trip.

The chicken shawarma is to die for, and the fatoosh salad will knock you on the seat of your pants. Everything is good, and different. Warning - If you love the Dinner Bell and have never traveled outside of Alcorn County, you might not like this kind of food. Otherwise, I challenge you to try it once. Like me, you might become helplessly addicted. Overheard a 5 year old at the next table ask his mommy for another one of those Green Hush Puppies.

First, JT's has moved down the street on to Hwy. 72, in the area next to all those darn storage buildings... I haven't had a chance to eat at the new sit down restaurant but I'm sure it is as amazing as it was before! Love love love everything on the menu from kebabs to shwarma!!!!! And I could eat an entire vat of tzatziki with some pita. A nice finish to the meal is the baklava with the sweet phyllo and pistachios...YUM Note that this is the ONLY place in this area that you'll find this type of food! A wonderful healthy (and vegetarian) change from all the fast-food junk down the street. :)

I just moved back to the area from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, which has a slough of falafel/kabab shops, and I must say, JT's give any "big city" falafel a run for its money. The falafel itself is a bit on the dense side, as if JT mashed the meal prior to frying. I like this; my mom (a falafel snob, having been to the Mediterranean multiple times) said she preferred her falafel "fat, fried, and THEN smushed, NOT smushed and then fried." A minute difference of opinion however that will deter neither of us from returning to JT's. My pops agreed. The price was reasonable as well. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was given for the price paid. Hopefully, people will read this review, go to JT's, fall in love, return, and thus justify JT's insistence on piling the food on. A full-size falafel sandwich was 5 bucks. That's FIVE dollars for a whole pita stuffed with tasty, healthy goodness. Other menu items were more, but everything seemed reasonable. If you are in the area and want a healthy, quasi-adventurous meal at a good price, this place will not disappoint.

I just tried this wonderful place yesterday. I thought I died and went to heaven! It is exactly how I remember the food from Greenwich Village in New York from many years ago -- only BETTER! The owner is so gracious. The service was excellent, and the place is IMMACULATE. I live 12 miles outside Corinth, but I will eat there at least twice a week. I don't know how such a fabulous place wound up here; I'm just glad it did! You can't go wrong with whatever you order. Simply exceptional in all respects.
