I love the staff here. I've never had a bad experience. When they initially opened the drive thru, I was a bit apprehensive. However, their morning attendant is always so nice and friendly! It makes stopping for my morning bagel a true pleasure! Thank you guys for always getting my strange orders right and for always smiling. :)

We are regulars here (when in the US ) and I think I have some form of asiago bagel every time...even taking a bagful back to the UK to freeze and enjoy much much later. With the bagels come an interesting selection of cream cheeses. Their Thai salad is really rather nice too as an alternative to the various bready delights. Came to multiple branches during our recentish visit. Couldn't manage to review them all so am just reviewing the one we visited twice.

I'm out in O'Fallon a lot and I'm shocked that this is the only location along Highway K. However I'm grateful I found it as a stomping ground when I need to kill time and I have never had a bad experience. The parking lot isn't the biggest and it can be a pain to navigate but there is a light that helps you get out of the lot back onto K. The staff is friendly and I like their new to-go concepts with the user friendly boxes. I wasn't sure if I'd have time to eat there, got it to go and it came all cute unlike in the past. If you plan on using their wifi, you need to grab a table in the middle of the restaurant or along the side with the drinks. The other side of the place doesn't have a strong connection.

Terrible experience from customer service to the meal. Food was cold and took forever. Got a male manager named Greg or David, can't remember and he was worthless at his job. Basically told me that there was nothing that can be done with the fact that my soup was cold. My panini was cold as well! Wtf??? Since when are paninis cold? Isn't a panini suppose to be grilled? Yea apparently not here. I got the cheese panini with tomatoes and basil. Tomatoes were still pretty cold but cheese wasn't melted whatsoever. It was still cold inside. I ended up pitching the meal which is sad when you have thousands of kids all over the world starving to death. This place has a nice atmosphere and decor which is attractive but customer service and food is pathetic. Never returning

I do love Bread Co, but this last visit the sandwiches we ordered seemed very, VERY light on the meats. I ordered the Cuban as I usually do and there wasn't enough meat to even cover the the bread. Weird for them but I then went back yesterday and the same thing. I really hope they are not trying to save money by taking away/cheapening their products. This is what I am feeling.

When I used to live here and even when I visit O'Fallon, I love coming to this bread co. (Although I do love the bread co by Mid Rivers Mall that has the drive thru;)

Whew...I was a little torn over how many stars to give this Bread Co. location. While I love Bread Co., I have a couple very minor irks about this location, which I will explain. I decided to drive just a few minutes more to O'Fallon (from Cottleville) so that I could do some shopping and grab dinner all in the same area. I was THRILLED to see that this location now has a Drive Thru! Yay! (Obviously, I did not know this before, and as a result, haven't gone through the Drive Thru yet). So, I wasn't sure how to get to the Drive Thru. There were a couple small (and temporary) signs directing traffic to the Drive Thru. I'm sure the permanent signs are coming. Anyway, I was a little disappointed that this recently-constructed Drive Thru didn't have a wider driving lane. There was also a turn as part of the Drive-Thru lane that was constructed a little too sharp. There is enough room that the driving lane could have been a little wider and the turn not quite so sharp. So far, one minor irk that doesn't detract from the quality of my meal. I ordered my meal, and could hear the order-taker perfectly fine. The order-taker was also knowledgeable of the menu, asking if I wanted a "You Pick Two" since I ordered a sandwich and a small Macaroni and Cheese (this time around, I wanted the full sandwich). Ordering was simple and uneventful. I pull up to the Drive Thru window, and hand the order taker my Panera gift card and My Panera Card (what an awesome rewards program!). However, I could have done without one of the Drive-Thru employees yelling to another employee (I think the employee that was getting yelled at was named Jason). It wasn't a full-blown argument, and he didn't sound like he was going to blow his top, but the yelling was uncalled for. I think the conversation had to do with being out of some particular item(s) and Jason still entering those item(s) in the POS. (The restaurant was out of the bread they normally use for my sandwich, and put it on regular white bread, which was fine. I didn't have a problem with this, nor did I throw a fit like a lady did in one of my previous Bread Co. reviews.) So...I was completely happy with my meal, and the fact that this location now has a Drive Thru. I just wish the Drive Thru was designed a little better....and if the employees need to communicate, they do so quietly.

Mis-informed employees about specials. Manager wouldn't speak to me about this. If the food quality was not as good as it is, I would never darken their door. A far cry from the original St. Louis Bread Company

STL Bread Co. Has been one of my favorite places for years. Their bread bowl soup options are always delicious and everything is fresh. I live in University City, but had some business out in Ofallon and decided to see how things were out here. They did not disappoint. Friendly service, clean facilities, and properly made food. I got my order in a timely manner and the staff were very respectful.

Haven't even left the parking lot and I felt obliged to share my experience... We ordered Salad, Mac & Cheese, Sandwich, and Chocolate Dessert. A fork was missing for the salad, no cheese on the salad, the chicken tastes like squishy canned chicken, they forgot the dessert, and when we went in to get the dessert - they informed us they were out, but not before the first Manager ignored the associate and had to get another Manager to get a different piece of dessert! Seriously, what happened to this place?

I haven't had a bad experience yet with this location. Yea, the parking lot sucks, but somehow I always luck out with a great spot. I like their Bagels and Breads, the coffee isn't too bad either. I get their Asiago cheese bagel and onion/chive cream cheese with a coffee every Sunday for breakfast. My wife LOVES their bread bowls (tomato/ basil) and U Pick 2's. I think they taste good, the portions are small for me when it comes to that Pick 2 selection (I'm a MAN) but I know that Bread Co. has that healthy quality about them. In my early college days, me and my buddy's used to come up here every day. We would only order coffee, because we were poor college students and they had bottomless cup coffee. Yeah, just sit outside for hours talking nonsense, buzzed out on "caffeine and nicotine"....guess we were just inspired by the indie film by Jim Jarmuche....Bread Co. Go get your bottomless cup for under $3.

Worst Bread Co. I have ever been to. They didn't listen to my order and put cheese on my sandwich. Took it back and they remade it without the meat this time. Took it back again and they finally got it right. When I took it back the second time the girl that remade it the first time was smirking like she did it on purpose. Each time I went back up I was waiting with at least one other person who's order had been messed up.

Staff here is on the ball! Never had a wrong order, and whatever I decide to order comes out quick! As another Yelper mentioned, the parking lot is cramped - big time, but once you're in...you're good. The dining area has always been clean every time we've been in. Soups, salads, and sandwiches for the lunch crowd - pastries, bagels, hot sandwiches, and a whole case full of breakfast items. There truly is something for everyone! Oh, and don't forget the coffee and other drink choices - smoothies, too! We are frequent diners, and have yet to have a bad experience.

I have this love-hate relationship with Bread Co ... I mean, it's a chain, right? But it's a local chain, or sort of. And I love their food, so, well, yes, 4 stars it is. This location is on Highway K just north of Mexico Road. The parking lot is fairly cramped, and it can seem interminable if you're waiting to make the left across traffic. That said, the interior is spacious. Though I've never had trouble finding a seat, I'm also not often visiting during what I assume is their peak lunch rush. Breakfast is not to be missed. The aromas are always inviting, sandwiches are fresh, they have veggie options, cheap options, you can mix and match your sandwich with soup or salad, or skip the sandwich entirely. In the last month I've sampled the Cuban chicken panini (was that it?) and the chicken salad sandwich. I tend to turn my nose up at mayo but in both instances I managed to overlook the offense - these are tasty morsels, folks. And both the black bean soup and the tomato soup are terrific. Love to dunk my bread...speaking of which, your meal comes with your choice of an apple, a mini loaf of sourdough (or is it French?) bread or chips. It's all about choices! Best of all? The calorie counts for everything are clearly posted on the menus, so you can dine smart. Get yourself over to your "local" Bread Co!
