Khan's is the place to go for a buffet-style Mongolian lunch and dinner with as much meat, noodles, vegetables and sauves you can fit into your bowl. This is the go-to restaurant for my friends and I and you'll need to try it to find out why.

We have always loved this place!..... But, we have not been here in about a year. Went last night around 5pm. It was surprisingly slow. Got seated after waiting about 5 minutes. Ordered just water. Went and got our food (2 adults and 2 kids) came back, no water. Ordered it again, 10 minutes later finally got water.. but no ice! Apparently you need to order ICE water. Food: Mushrooms were clearly never washed as they still had dirt on them. When the "chefs" cooked the food, it came out burnt! He was cleaning the grill as he was cooking our food, therefore we had black residue type stuff in our dishes. Just bad! Atmosphere: Filthy, sticky tables. Ew. TV's were so scrambled we could hardly read the score on the game. I can not believe how horrible this place as become. Very unfortunate. I'd run to Arby's next door before I went there again.

Delicious food and great staff and always an available seat. Food is great and fun because you prepare it yourself.

Get ready to fill your stomachs full at Khan's Mongolian BBQ. Khan's is a staple for those looking for a buffet style dining experience in the Twin Cities. Every member of the household, including those who are vegetarian, will not leave with an empty stomach - it's all you can eat! There is a wide selection of beef, chicken and tofu to go along with a variety of noodles, vegetables and make-your-own sauces. Step over to the hot iron skillets for the chefs to cook up your meal to a yummy perfection. Be sure to ask the chef for peanuts when you drop your food off to be cooked. A few things you should know about Khan's... - Those will peanut allergies or who are hard core vegetarians should stay away. All food is cooked on the same skillets that peanuts and meat touch. - The all-you-can-eat meal comes with a small appetizer to cleanse your pallet and fried dough filled with a sweet sesame seed filling after dinner so leave some room. - Atmosphere is a bit dated. While the food and veggies are fresh, the decor and cleanliness here leaves a bit to the imagination. Probably not the best place to bring a date or the immediate family, this place is best suited for groups of friends looking for filling meal. - And is it your first time around the block when it comes to Kahn's fill your own bowl line? Here is a simple trick... load up on meat and veggies first and then zoom back into the link to add the noodles on the top.

We always love coming to this place. We have been for years! We usually get great service with the servers. The host seating can take a while sometimes but the food is always good. Num!

place is OK. Place is not clean and grill place looks disgusting and not cleaning after every time they grill. Food is OK. Not going back for now. May be in future. No recommended place for nice dinner. Better be there for Lunch only.

Oh, you bastion of wilted greens and brown-ed tubers. Yield up your larders of petrified game for all to partake. The false prophets lecture at the altar of one thousand sauces, so thou may be misled. There the masses wait in disarray so they may nearly serve themselves up a sorry mound to sup on. Lo, there be havens of fresh fruit of the earth, and game worthy of a king, not a stone's throw in any way. Be not fooled by exotic whispers of Oriental delights. They only tease to an end of, "meh." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good: - Company Decent: - Beer selection - Friendly waitress Bad: - Sad looking vegetables - Missing choice vegetables - Frozen meat - No seasoning - Poor sauce/oil recommendations - Waiting in unorganized lines for your bowl's contents to be cooked - Decor - Techno Muzak (Including "Living on a Prayer") The skinny: Fill a bowl with vegetables, noodles, oils/sauces, and meats from a buffet counter. Place it on another counter and wait for it to be cooked by the fry guys. They give it back to you on a plate. Take it to your table and eat it up. Rinse, and repeat to your heart's content.

I only give this place 2 stars because I have had good experiences here before for lunch. It seems that either this place has gone downhill over the past year or so or they just don't have good people working the dinner shift. I've always went here for lunch before and had great experiences...quality food, good wait staff. When I went here for dinner, the wait staff were slow and not particularly friendly. On top of that, someone had vomited all over the restroom, I let someone know and it didn't seem like much of an emergency to them, I sat and watched and no one went to clean it the entire 40 minutes or so we were there. I grabbed chopsticks, and for some reason the ones I grabbed were opened and used (dirty on the ends) - how does that even happen? Did someone think that's where you put your used chopsticks? Was some kid playing a joke? But the most important part is the food quality was not up to usual standard - The seafood smelled bad and tasted very fishy so it obviously wasn't good quality, it's almost like it must have been out all day. I'm not sure I'll even go back for lunch after this experience, even though it used to be a pretty good place.

It was pretty good. I dont do alot of meat but they had alot of options. Good fresh food that they cook fast. Fun place to go to try out. There are other places I like better for the price and my water got refilled once after I pulled a server to the table. My kids thought it was ok but not the most kid friendly place in the world. Oh and they burnt the heck out of my second plate of food and the cook didnt seem to notice

You mean I can selectively pick my own combination of food, get someone else to cook it AND listen to booty music all in the same place? Sign me up. Plus, any place that causes my father to get up and dance after a meal (his sweatpants falling down and exposing too much of his belly/crack combo to the horrified diners in the process) is good in my book. (Pile the noodles on last, trust me.)

I have gone to Khan's for YEARS. I just went last night. The last time I was there I told the Manager that there was TONS of dust under the sneeze rails where the food is kept. I said you might want to wash better under there. My husband actually hit it with the tongs and it fell in the food. GROSS! So we went back last night. I have to say what I saw there last time was still there. The place was dead. There was no one there. I then started looking around and noticed that the place had not been cleaned in a very long time. There was dust on the walls, dust on the ceiling were you hand your food to the people to cook. The carpets were nasty. And then the doors and the floor leading to outside had not been swept in a very long time. It is really sad. I loved going to this place. I have been coming for years. I was very disappointed to see that they did not clean what I informed them about. They just ignored me. The food is still good, and they have a bunch of new servers in there. I also learned that they make the wantons in peanut oil...I am allergic but it is not posted anywhere. Thank God one of the servers told me that last night. But it was too late because I had already eaten them! But at least now I know. I am sorry to say that I think this place is not going to be around much longer. I know I won't be eating there anymore. So sad to see what this current manager has done with the place.

This place is one of my guilty pleasures! We went here to eat to celebrate getting our house out of forclosure (long seperate story). This place is AWESOME!!! Picture all the meat and veggies that you can pick being exactly what you want with the sauces being exactly what you like cooked fresh to order exactly how you want it to be cooked. Now add to that being able to do this as MANY times as you want! That is Mongolian BBQ! (They also have alcohol drinks so I can get my red wine when I am there!)

First off, I've been to this location a few times a year for the last 8-10 years. I was very excited to go yesterday, but I had the worst experience. It started out like the norm. We sat down and ordered drinks along with an app. Then, we went to get our bowls. It was the Sunday brunch so you only got one bowl. I created a bowl of legendary stature with some creative thinking. I brought my bowl up to the grill and stood back to wait. My friend grabbed my shoulder and pointed to the floor. I looked and there was a mouse on the floor next to the grill. Immediately got the manager and he was spewing something about it likely sneaking in when they did the garbage that morning. I'm sorry, but I can't recover from that. I told him to throw our food out and we were going over to First Wok instead. As much as I'd like to say I'd go back, I doubt I'll be returning to that location.

The last time we were at Khan's was about 16 years ago. We stopped going for two reasons: 1. they raised the price and 2. a noticeable lack of freshness and attention to the ingredient bar. So, after all these years we thought it was worth another shot. We arrived at the Richfield location about 7:10 on a Saturday night and the place was hopping! Crowd was mainly families and a few couples and although tables were in short supply, the smiling hostess seated us immediately. This time the meat was fresh, frosty cold, and plentiful. The vegetables were well chopped, obviously fresh, and there was more variety than I recall. In addition, the sauces were better labeled and mostly full. The ingredient bar was generally well-maintained. We waited about five minutes in line to have our stir-fry complete and returned to our table to discover a platter of delicious crunchy fried wontons with a zesty sauce accompaniment. Both of us were pleasantly surprised by not only how fun and different Khan's Mongolian is as a Minneapolis fun-spot but also how delicious the end result was. As for the pricing, both of us left Khan's with smiles on our faces and no regrets. Khan's is back in the rotation!

This place is okay. We first got Mongolian chips and salsa, which were good. We got our noodles, and they were okay...the buffet food was okay but frozen. When I went to get it cooked, I noticed that they were using peanuts. They did not separate peanuts from not peanuts. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A PEANUT ALLERGY. They add a lot of water to your noodles so be careful, add more sauce than you normally would b The sriracha wings were good. Sweet and spicy. I would give this place 3 stars but the place is not very clean. :(

I was a regular customer at Khans, until today.I went there for lunch today,I filled my bowl and was standing in line waiting to have my food cooked when another patron bumped into me and a small amount of noodles slipped to the floor . I alerted an employee , thinking I was doing the right thing so that nobody would slip on them. I though nothing of it unil i received my bill . They charged me an extra $5.00 because they said I filled my bowl too full .I tried to explain that I was bumped into but they didn't believe me or care . So I was charged $5. extra for 12 cents worth of noodles . I told them I will never return. and I wont. Terrible business practices ! From now on I guess I will stick to Teppanyaki grill, better food better service.

Love the variety of food and have been to the Richfield location a few times now. Always friendly staff and atmosphere. Me and my family went there last night and everything seemed wonderful until we ate the complimentary sesame sweet rolls at the end. When we lifted the last piece of paper from the bowl, we saw how incredibly dirty it was. It was wet dirty! The thing the rolls came in was cleary not cleaned at all! This really threw us off. Our waiter was so nice and took it from us and told us he would take care of it. Great place to eat but really thrown off with how dirty that thing was.

The food was decent, nothing special. I went on a sunday, so I ordered the sunday brunch. This was waaayy over priced. You're allowed one bowl of food that you put your own selection of ingredients into. I crammed as much ingredients into the bowl and it seemed like a childs portion. One small to medium sized lunch for more than 12.00. I can think of a million restaraunts that i would've rather gone to for the cost.

Khaaaaaaaaaaan! My friend and I had a craving for Mongolian BBQ and he suggested Genghis Grill; however, he's been gracious enough to schlep me around the Greater Twin Cities Metro this week, so I looked into something a little closer than Eagan. I found that the Flat Top chain, my personal favorite so far, doesn't have a restaurant here yet, but Khan's was listed on Yelp. He had been there before and approved. Off we went! The decor is reminiscent of most Asian buffets. Many tables for two or four and a few pushed together for bigger groups. They have some large reproduction work on the walls and a few figurines throughout the place. Other than that, the main attraction is the bowl bar and flat top grill. That's all DIY but they also provide servers to take beverage and appetizer orders. The veggies looked like they had seen better days. They were a bit wilted and dried around the edges, but there was a nice assortment from which to choose. They also had a decent selection of meat and seafood, but I was somewhat saddened to find that all of it was frozen; however, they offered lamb and I've yet to see that at another Mongolian BBQ. The sauce selection was a bit of a letdown, but they had the basics: garlic water, soy sauce, house sauce, etc. Cilantro is labeled as Chinese Parsley here. We arrived just before the dinner rush, so cooking time took minutes. I liked everything I put on my plate except for the calamari. They were rubbery and fishy. We also ordered a 10pc basket of Bacon Cream Cheese Wontons. They were pretty good, but I'd probably skip them next time. My bowl had been overflowing and it was way too much food for me to finish. I wish I'd paid more attention to detail because the specifics aren't listed on the website, but I believe Lunch is about $9 for a bowl. Their "Happy Hour" was, I want to say, between 4-6pm and $11 for a bowl. After 6pm is Dinner and it's AYCE for $12 or 13, something like that. I'm not sure if that's for every location or just this one. I'd come back for lunch prices.

Good Mongolian BBQ! The best I've had in MN. The restaurant is a total dump. But service and food is consistently good. If not for the restaurant being very dumpy I'd give it 4 stars. Come on buy new carpet already!

I've been to many types of Mongolian bbq restaurants. Khans is pretty limited in regards to their menu offering. The service was incredibly slow (water refills, plate clearing, tab, etc). Worst of all the place is incredibly dated and dirty. Price is inline with other Mongolian restaurants but the others offer so much more while maintaining better standards of service and cleanliness. And another strange thing is that at most Mongolian grills it's either one bowl where you can take home leftovers or unlimited and you can't. Here there are no leftover containers regardless if you only get one bowl or if you do the full buffet. $12 for not all you can eat stir fry and we throw away your leftovers? No thanks. If you like khans, try Mongos in maple grove or saint cloud....I can assure you.....you won't come back to khans. I know I won't.

  • Paul S.

Better than HuHot, but slightly over priced. How about a 1 bowl price for people who are not down with the all you can eat plan?!? Not every customer wants to take 2 or 3 trips thru the buffet, yet you are forcing patrons to pay the same price as those who eat more food.

  • Kimi R.

I think all three locations need a Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare do-over because they are NOT clean. Similar to fellow reviewers' experience, the carpet was dirty, table top was sticky, and dust at the buffet bar. Just a mess. The cooks rush your food and wash down the sauce with either lots of water or watered down soy sauce. Owner(s): please clean your restaurant, ensure food freshness and quality, and ask your cooks to pay a little more care on cooking the food.

Where to even begin. Met my brother in law & sister in law here for dinner. The place was BUSY and busting at the seams with every table full and folks waiting, but they had already gotten us a nice corner table so we got started right away. I had not had previous experience with how things worked here so my first plate was an interesting experiment in too few ingredients and only one liquid/sauce. Baby steps. I got the hang of it after watching other diners and finally noticing the giant poster with recommended mixtures of the many, many meat, veggie, starch and sauce offerings. I was like a little kid at Christmas watching the cook staff work several customers' selections on each of the three giant heated cooking stones. How they kept it straight I have no idea so despite a few customers apparently forgetting what they'd selected or the cooks handing a plate to the wrong customer, everyone there was very full and very sated. I did not have noodles, but there were so many well stocked (and frequently restocked on this busy night) fresh vegetables and meat selections that I did not miss noodles AT ALL. Good choice for a low carb eater.

This is a friend of mine's favorite place to eat and we have probably been here 25+ times over the years. We've also eaten at other Mongolian style restaurants around the twin cities and in several other states, and hands down Khan's is the best. The food bar is fantastic. Fresh and plentiful... And I love the fact that peanuts are offered at no extra charge. It's an all-you-can-eat type situation, so show up hungry. My only complaints are that a couple years ago they stopped giving out the soup/chicken wing appetizer which was great. And also, at lunch they've played the same lame video on the flatscreens for years (Literally). Time to bring back the chicken wings and change that video! Check it out, it's cool...

Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. Enough said. Eat at your own risk. If it this dirty I can only imagine the food. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. You have to take care of the restaurant like the food.

My brother got snowed out of a flight so we needed a place to eat not a chain, near the airport and his hotel, and easy to get to with the remnants of our blizzard. 530-ish pretty quiet and no wait for a table. The rest is pretty much copy-paste of what you'll read below. I put some meats and veggies in a bowl. Ladled on some sauce and let the pros do the cooking. Downsides: getting as much as possible into my bowl is a real test of my spacial limitations. My steamed bun was cold and not as good as could be.

My husband and I were in the area running errands and wanted something for lunch. So of course I look on yelp to see what is around us. And this restaurant pops up. Based on the reviews we decided to try it. What a wonderful place. The staff was very helpful with helping us make choices and helped us pick out the right sauce combos. The food was very fresh and tasty. Come hungry and leave full. We will be back.

Khans in Richfield is a consistently great place for lunch! I usually stop in once a weekend. The Saturday staff is much better than the Sunday staff but it's good either way. Tips: 1)Get more meat than you think you'll want and fewer noodles. The meat will shrink when cooked and those noodles will suck up the sauce an expand. 2) Get your noodles last. Even though they are up front in the line it is awkward to try to balance all your other veggies on top of a puffed up unstable base. Get everything else first. 3) If you get your sauce right after your meat it will have a few minutes to marinate and taste better. My favorite sauce combo: 1 Scoop Ginger Water 1 Scoop House Spicy 1 Scoop Dragon Sauce 3 Scoops Cooking Wine 3 Scoops Teryaki I like the Richfield location best. I think the Roseville one is terrible. Roseville always cuts the meat strips too thick and large an you need a knife. Plus Roseville is always dirty and has slow service. Make the drive to Richfield instead.

Delicious! Its all you can eat and you get to pick all your meat and veggies for your stir fry. Then get to watch them cook it right in front of you. Our server was super cute and friendly. Even though she was busy she never really showed it. Id definitely recommended this place to my family and friends and will be going back soon PS the Bacon wontons were super yummy!!

I had lunch here on a typical day. The place was not too busy. Service is average. Food is your choices off the buffet line - you can't complain about that. The cooking was below average because they cooked the heck out of it. Hence my steak was over cooked and chewy. Next time I would consider pork instead. Overall this place is average(barely) because it is $10/bowl(what you fill up your food with prior to cooking). You do get a chicken wing and a mediocre soup with a greasy fried chip... If you going to have lunch for $10, go to 98 pounds instead which is only 2-3 miles from Khan's. At 98 Pounds, @ least you get better quality food, fish dishes as well as sushi - MOST important, it is all you can eat compare to Khan's one bowl limit. One more note, 98# for $10 price you that covers your drink as well as quality fruit(logan/mangoes) and desert. Khan's? I will pass...

  • Kristi C.

Been here more times than I can count. Service is super friendly & top notch. Their chicken wings, of which one comes as a part of your appetizer are to die for! Not the sauced kind you find in most restaurants, it must be some marinade they soak in. Normally I skip the noodles, making me feel like I'm getting my recommended daily servings of veggies. Mom would be so proud! Also good for at least one chuckle to see someone leave a noodle trail from the buffet to the griddle counter with their piled-too-high bowl.

  • Rhonda G.

I loved this experience, and went about once a month, when I worked in Bloomington. I could fit quite a lot in the bowl because I don't eat noodles with it. Had it down to a science, and poured on all the good juices at the end, i.e. garlic and ginger. Cooking this has to be one of the filthiest jobs in the world. They cook it up with the long chopsticks on a large circular wok of some sort. I always tell them to get all the juice in. I'm satisfied, and I like the introductory wing and cream cheese puff. Once some old guy brought it to the table and was about to eat it raw. My friend was freaked out and told him he had to get it cooked. Of course I didn't say anything because I was laughing my ass off.

Really yummy food! You get to design your platter yourself, which is fun. Get lots of meat - more than you think you want - it shrinks when you cook it! ;-)

If you like Mongolian BBQ, you will love this place. The all-you-can eat buffet offers a wide variety of high quality ingredients including some seafood options that you don't typically see like shrimp and calamari. They have the normal Mongolian BBQ system where you choose your ingredients and then they are stir fried together on an open grill and served over noodles. They have some nice touches like the wonton and chicken wing appetizer that come free with the buffet, and a little honey dumpling desert. Good stuff!

I still haven't been to the Khan's in Roseville, but the one in Minneapolis (really Richfield I believe) met my expectations. The atmosphere is lively, the a la carte bbq concept was (briefly) intriguing, and the food was actually pretty good. Overall, it didn't blow me away, but I'd definitely go back - maybe it's better with larger groups.

Oh Yeah!! It was awesome! Yes, even for a vegetarian! The staff is competent and accommodating. As soon as they came to know we were vegetarians the entire staff was happy to oblige and make us feel at ease. The manager, the waitress, the cook, the other waiters, the helpers etc. etc. all on board to make our dining experience as easy and worry free as possible. Of course, we skipped the appetizer (all meat) and went to the buffet. It was filled fresh with variety of veggies and noodles to chose from along with sauces and instructions to create your own. Since the cook was aware of our dietary restrictions, it was simple and easy to just hand our veggies and sauces and let him work the magic (this is the part I always dread- chunks of meat can fall into my food) but, the cook had cleaned the entire grill as soon as he saw us at the veggie bar and was waiting for us to bring over the bowl - this was very impressive and he had new chop sticks set aside just for us vegetarians!! What can you say to that! The food was perfect since, I had selected the quantities of veggies, sauces and heat (spicy). Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves food. One thing that could be improved: is a perpetual stickiness through the entire restaurant (from the high heat and not using grease cutters for cleaning) - so watch out!

Mentioning Khan's is the local equivalent of Mongilian BBQ in the Twin Cities. There really isn't anyone else. They have the name recognition of Kleenex to facial tissue. You can go here, load up your bowls-o-stuff for them to throw around with the sauces you select on a big hotplate, throw it back into a bowl, and then you eat it. Vegetarian? Sure. Don't put any meat in the bowl. Usually you can get all you can eat, but I believe there is a single-bowl option, not that I believe I have ever seen it used. Eating here is not for the dainty. Most communication heard inside their doors is found in grunting and slurping.

Khan's is damn tasty. I love Mongolian BBQ, and this place does it just about as well as anybody else (except Genghis Khan's in KC, which holds the #1 spot). Their veggies are fresh and their tofu is awesome. The service has always been quick and friendly when I have been, and they have a few Asian beers to wash down the stir-fry. YUM.

I have always enjoyed coming to Khan's; the food is consistently good, and the experience is fun. Those steamed sesame buns... I dream about those things. Unfortunately, it seems our favorite Mongolian BBQ joint is not immune to the rampant cost-cutting practices we seem to see everywhere nowadays. It used to be that everyone got a bowl of soup, a chicken wing, a wonton with dipping sauce, sort of a little appetizer platter before the main event. Now they've "unbundled"... you can still get your appetizers, but you have to pay extra. And of course they have not lowered the price of the meal to reflect this. (Still 13.95 for all-you-can eat; 10.95 for one bowl on Tuesdays or during happy hour.) The service is generally pretty good, and like I said, the food is fantastic. But the value has taken a nose-dive, unfortunately.

I've been coming here for more than ten years. A friend in high school introduced me to it. It's definitely a different type of restaurant experience. I like being able to build my own meal and tweak it a little bit with each visit until I get it right. I think I've perfected it and I love what I'm able to make with their ingredients. One trick is to stack your ingredients in the right order to maximize the space in your bowl. The decor is tacky and they seem to show Takeshi's Castle on a loop, but I dig it. It's a great casual lunch place for the laid back.

  • Michelle L.

I came here for lunch not expecting much of anything and I really enjoyed my meal. You can "make your own" meal by combining different components such as meat, veggies, sauce, and noodles. You then walk over to the guy on the grill who cooks everything up for you. It's a simple concept and while the food was nothing to write home about, it was certainly enjoyable for a cheap and fast lunch. I will very likely return!

  • Norm W.

My wife and I have always enjoyed Khans's Mongolian Barbecue. It is like going to a buffet but then getting to pick all your own food! I usually keep my bowls small and try to make like 3 different distinct dishes. My favorite is my sweet and hot pineapple stir fry, then my spicy beef mix is really tasty. What is nice about this place is the staff is always super friendly and quick to accommodate. I took off a star for the price because I feel like it is starting to get a little spendy to eat here. Only time I would not go is right at prime time weekend evening can get really packed out. I can't really blame Khan's for being busy since that is the whole point of having a good restaurant.

  • Keri S.

The food was wonderful and I may have gone back for three separate plates. We loved the ginger-ey carrot type salad experience we got as an appetizer and that the meal came with soup and a chicken wing. We did not love the over sweetened pot of ginger tea we ordered, and we did not love the price tag (about $18 per person by the time it was all done). Pretty standard Mongolian grill, but the atmosphere and weird taped on posters at the buffet made me feel like it should have been cheaper. You know what I mean? Would totally go back again for lunch, but it just doesn't make sense to pay that much for dinner. Take out-of-towners though. It's a unique spot, although not a fancy one.

"Whinny", "woof" or "meow" must be Khan's way of dealing with the harsh economy. The beef was bad tasting and gamey, which was not hidden by the sauces. I was on a business lunch so I choked down the plate of muttony meat and prayed for no food poisoning. I will never go back there. Luckily I did not get sick. I will stick with BD's in Burnsville.

At Khans, you are the decider of the fate of your plate. There is no chef you can holler at if you're disappointed. You pick the ingredients, the sauces, the spices, the hotness, and then you bring it to some hibachi dude to fry up. All they do is add peanuts, which is kind of a funny story in itself. As a first timer, I was unaware of the peanuts. Me and my buddy were up to get fried and the guy mumbled something I couldn't understand. So I did the Minnesota-nice thing and nodded my head and smiled while my friend went "uuuh sure". Then when he went to work on our plates, we both turned to each other and tried to figure out what he said. The funny part is that I would have loved some nuts on my plate, while my friend absolutly hates nuts in his dish. It's a neat concept. I like being in control of my food. I don't like some of the crap that you get in stir fry so it's nice to be able to go through a buffet of ingredients to come up with your own tasty concoction. We were the last people in the restaurant and I still found the choices of produce and meat to be rather fresh and worthy. It's a fun meal and it's also good for food skeptics that aren't really sure about mongolian food or stir fry because you get to see everything that goes in- or rather, you get to choose everything that goes in- even better!! They give you an appetizer to start out with. I wasn't too into any of it. There is some big fried chip thing with sweet and hot dipping sauce. Also a soup that is kind of icky as well. Then a gnarled, cold, weird chicken leg. . .ew. I ordered a tea to start out with that was absolutely delicious!!!! I can't remember what it's called, it starts with a "c" and is supposed to be good for colds and hangovers. It is the best tea I've ever had in my life!!!!! They top off your meal with a dessert. It's a steamy sticky bun with honey and sesame seeds inside. I wasn't too stoked on the seeds when I looked at it, but it tasted really good. The decor is fine. There is a full bar and loud dance music. It has a younger, modern feel for it, yet still has all the trimmings for a regular chinese restaurant. The service was nice. Our waitress was pleasant. I would recommend going here if you want a fun dining experience.

Probably the worst Mongolian BBQ I've eaten at yet. The noodles are greasy and soggy (they drench them in oil on the grill instead of using water), and in case you DO want to take your nasty food home with you, they don't even allow To-Go boxes. The only good thing about this place is you get appetizers and dessert with the meal, which are just ok. Come here if you want a ton of food and have a complete indifference to taste/quality.

The food is always good, But the service could use a little more work. Over all I think that I will be back again, but it would be nice to see the prices drop. You really do pay more then what you should.

Really enjoyed my experience. Appearance of the place was not very inviting but very easily overlooked. I loved having the authority of my dish. I was able to have exactly what I wanted in it, and I was able to spice it up as much as I like. I chose to go with all you can eat as i wanted a few opportunities to try a few different dishes. I went with lamb the first go around, shrimp and calamari the second. I thought I wouldn't like having to stand and wait for my food but the cooks were very quick. My only complaint is that I could have used a little salt and pepper which was not available. Maybe just more garllic next time. I will definitely be back again.

I'm convinced this location was a dance club, closed shop, opened as a restaurant, and rehired head DJ. Aside from the *ntz ntz* music playing over the sound of fast chewing and the pain of the burnt roof of my mouth, this place is very good! Vegetable selection is supreme, beer selection is better than I'd expect (New Castle? Absolutely), and noodles with my stir fry trumps rice any day. Minus points for strips of meat vs. chunks. Minus points for the *slightly* below average service. Add a fountain pop machine and don't make me tip! Cheers!

A buffet of raw veggies, meat, and sauces that you then bring over to be grilled for you. The trick is how much you can fit in one bowl. I recently went with my engineer co-workers and was amazed how much they were able to stack on. Tips I remember: put noodles on last because they hang over, and broccoli can be stacked as to hold in more ingredients. If you really like it spicy, dig to the bottom of the sauces to where the peppers are :) I also reccomend adding the black beans mmm. They give you tiny bowls of rice- like dixie cup size, so noodles in the stirfry are probably the way to go.

Wish I could give it a lower rating. Awful food. Awful service. Paid $40 and left three full plates of food on the table because none of us liked it.

I dont give many five star ratings but this place deserves it. I don't know why since sometimes its crowded and the decor is a little off and the bar is non existant...but I just love the food options, service and the cooks cooking my food in front of me. I have been here over a dozen times and have not had a bad experience. If you did not like the food you can only blame yourself as you are the one who put it together. I think its reasonably priced at $12 for a all you can eat dinner buffet.

Yum this place is so good. Just a typical Mongolian barbeque, of course you can stack your bowl up as high as you want before sauteeing it down into a plate of fabulousness. They also have ice cream and other desserts, which you will likely be too full to partake in. Yummy sauces and friendly staff.
