The food here is great! I found this place on accident but have been twice now and loved it both times. The biggest negative is that there isn't a public bathroom, or at least there isn't one attached to the customer area, but now that I know I plan ahead. Go here, get a sandwich, be happy.

Hi Patti, I appreciate you writing. I had the Cubano. Like I said, I would certainly choose you over that other place a few doors down. But the service was curt and the sandwich and atmosphere were very plain. To me, a non-chain shop like yours really needs to lean into the personal touch. The very thing that makes you different is the ability to make it your own. I feel that in any restaurant where I can easily make the product at home, what's going to bring me back is style. Decor, furniture, service items, and staff are your competitive advantage. I just don't see you doing anything special. Sorry. Continued success. Respectfully, David

In my experience, the quality of a sandwich depends primarily on the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Ham's nails it. My sandwich, the Unforgettable, was nearly perfect. (I would have gone a little easier on the cream cheese, but that is my only criticism.) The veggies were all very fresh and ripe, the bread was impeccable, and sauces well-proportioned. My two dining companions felt similarly about their sandwiches. The serving staff were all friendly and helpful, and they were patient with our group being a little slow to order. (The menu can be a bit overwhelming if you've not been there before.) The decor isn't fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. I'll definitely stop in again if I'm in need of lunch in the Minnetonka area. An interior update would easy put this shop into 5-star territory.

Skip the nearby Jimmy John's, spend the extra dollar, and treat yourself to a real sandwich and a great potato salad. Ham's Sandwich Shop is what you want from a sandwich. I had the El Diablo, their most famous sandwich, and it was the perfect lunch. The hoagie bun has taste to it unlike Jimmy John's. The smoked turkey is also very flavorful, and not just four inches thick of blandness. Vegetables and spreads also add flavor. The final straw for this place is the Western Potato Salad. Get 'em cowboys, it's got a very small kick to it that even those who aren't into spicy food will get something out of it. I think I found my new lunch spot in my Minnesota trips.

I finally found a minnesota sandwich shop that I like. The food quality and portions here are fantastic. Everything is so fresh and a they will make you practically anything you want, I have had the "Train Wreck" on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. Even if it's busy, it's worth the wait.

This is the best sandwich shop in the metro area. There are tons of sandwich options and each one is better than the last. I would eat every meal here if I could. Instead, I settle for the occasional lunch. I always bring my family here when they are in town and they've started asking for Ham's weeks before their arrival. GET THERE NOW.

A year since my original review, and I've gone back to Ham's quite a few times, because the sandwiches are pretty good. I've gotten over the cost, but quality has really deteriorated recently. They no longer reliably deliver. Sometimes they do and it usually takes over an hour. Sometimes when we've called for delivery, they say they can't do it. Likewise, food has been inconsistent. On several occasions, the order is wrong, and I didn't notice until I got back to my office to eat. I tried calling them about it, but was put on hold for over 15 minutes! When I finally got through, they simply replied, thanks for letting us know. They have never offered to replace the sandwich or apologize. The pastrami has been so fatty sometimes, I couldn't eat it. Their ordering system is so complicated, that if you order anything other than one of their signature sandwiches, they have to type it into the order and the line behind you gets longer and more impatient. All in all, a good sandwich shop, but could be great if they wanted to be.

my wife and i love this place! it doesn't get any better than this. this place deserves to be on triple d's!! not sure why it's not on there yet. although my wife has encountered a bad experience once, she overlooked it and still loves and recommends this place. my wife and i plan on trying every sandwich there is at ham's now. items we've tried: * el diablo * fire in the belly * unforgettable * the train wreck * the meatloaf * the guillermo * cubano * the blt with and without avocado * beef chili * taco salad * spinach salad * western potato salad * ranch pasta salad * coleslaw * chocolate chip cookie * peanut butter & chocolate rice krispie bar * chips & nachos * quesadillas * we've had a lot of their specials and it's so worth trying breakfast items we've tried: * the crack of dawn with croissant and grilled with a side of chipotle mayo * the all-in-burrito with chipotle mayo * south of the border burrito * hearty hash * hash brown bites * potato pancakes * chilaquiles * two sun up sliders

Im giving 3 stars instead of 2 stars because these guys are very friendly, new to the hood and trying hard to bring some love filled sandwiches to the populace. Their little shop is very clean and the fresh ingredients smell great if you choose to get a hot sandwich. Here come the problems....I ordered a pastrami sandwich and it was cooked in so much butter it was almost dripping. Don't get me wrong I love butter and heart attacks too but this was brutal. I couldn't even finish it due to my heart racing and I'm not an out of shape mouth breather. Everything about the sandwich was greasy from the cheese to the meat to the butter soaked bread. I think next time I'll ask to go easy on the butter. I will come back at some point and see how they have developed.

After discovering this place, I've now been back three times in the last two weeks. I just went to lunch yesterday, and I'm already missing their succulent sandwiches again. This place is that good. Definitely one of the best sandwich shops I've ever been to. This place is tucked into a strip mall in the Calhoun Towers/Ridgedale Mall area. If you don't Yelp, you could live in Minneapolis all your life and not know that it existed...but luckily I was looking for a good lunch spot close to where I work in Wayzata and this little shop had great reviews. I've been hooked ever since. I've tried three different sandwiches in my visits: The El Diablo, Fire In My Belly, and the Guillermo. Notice my love of spicier foods in those picks. Each of these was absolutely delicious in slightly different ways. The El Diablo has smoked turkey with chipotle mayo, spicy jalapeno bacon (I would die for this bacon), melted pepperjack cheese, lettuce, and tomato, all served on a wonderfully soft French hoagie. The Fire In My Belly (my personal favorite so far) has hot corned beef and pastrami, melted pepper jack cheese, and an absolutely delicious spicy jalapeno mustard. Again served on a wonderfully soft French hoagie. The Guillermo is a grilled sandwich/panini with roasted turkey, jalapeno bacon, pepper jack, and a great habanero BBQ sauce, which adds a nice extra kick. This one is served on ciabatta bread. Ham's also serves 3 different soups every day. So far, I've tried the clam chowder (five star restaurant quality chowder) and a creamy, thick beer cheese. Their western potato salad also makes for a great side. I will seriously keep coming back to this place until I've tried every sandwich and soup on the menu...and then I will keep coming back for Round 2. If this shop was in Downtown or Uptown, it would be famous. But alas, it will continue to be a great little hidden oasis in the food wasteland of Minnetonka (shoutouts to BLVD Kitchen and Bacio for also being good). One other tip: this place is small and gets crazy swamped during lunch time, so if you want to sit in, either arrive a little earlier or later than you would normally eat lunch. They also do online and phone orders, so you can order ahead for takeout! Any way you slice it, get to Ham's now!

Still the best sandwich shop in town. Try the CGH Classic if you like honey cured ham. YUM!

4 stars for their breakfast burrito. $7.50 gets you a 2 lb foil wrapped bundle of deliciousness to start your day...or help you get over yesterday. Clean place. Friendly employees. Co-workers say the sandwiches are tops. I will have to try one.

  • Louise M.

It is still as good as I remember it! Went there yesterday and had the Unforgettable. Oh..it was unforgettable, as I still remember how it tasted back then, and it tasted unforgettable yesterday. In fact, I am craving more of it right now. Pretty crazy for a non sandwich lover!

Thanks to the great reviews on yelp, I checked out this shop. It was great. I had the El Diablo. It was super flavorful and the roll was fresh and very tasty. The staff was friendly, helpful and quick. Who needs freaky fast, when you have this place. I'll be back on my next trip!

I've never had a philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia, but I'm willing to bet that this Philly cheesesteak is just as good, if not actually better. I was truly amazed at the very first bite. Just. Plain. Heavenly. The only reason I didn't give a five-star rating is because I think they put the wrong spread on it. They asked me if I wanted horseradish or garlic butter (or something like that), and I said horseradish. I definitely did not taste any trace of horseradish, and once I realized that, it did seem like it was pretty garlicky. It was still an incredibly delicious sandwich, outdoing any other Philly of any kind I have ever eaten anywhere. I can't wait to come back and try something else, probably the Train Wreck, based on what I've read.

Was my first visit here and I ordered "El Diablo" based on it's popularity and rave reviews. I called in my order from down the street and the sandwich was ready when I got there. It was pretty darn good. The bread was soft and the sandwich was packed with Turkey, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and spicy goodness. I'm looking forward to trying other sandwiches on the menu as they have a bunch. For the price and quality, I'd definitely choose this place any day over the JJ that shares the same strip mall.

This sandwich shop will surprise you in a good way! Tucked away in a plaza between Total Hockey and Toys "R" Us, it's hard to spot this sandwich/deli shop at first glance. The soups and sandwiches are delicious and seating is decent. It gets busy during lunch hours from nearby businesses, but the service is fast. It's the same price as a Subway or Jimmy John's sandwich, but much better tasting!

  • Ben H.

If you want a tasty sandwich this place is it. I usually get one to eat and one to go for later. I highly recommend the Diablo and the Fire in the Belly. The unforgettable is awesome as well. You can not go wrong here.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. I had been meaning to try this when I was in the area. I had the daily special which was a cheesesteak with a side of pasta salad. they do you a large choice of sides. I was not real impressed with the sandwich. It would probably rate 2.5 stars. Very average and bland. The beef had almost no flavor. The pasta salad was also very bland and need something to add some sort of zest. Portions on the sides are on the small side. Total with drink and tax was just under $11. I would like to give them another try and maybe get something else off the menu. The meatloaf sandwich sounds interesting. On the positive side, the store is EXTREMELY CLEAN. They also have Coke products which earns at least 1/2 a star alone.

Thanks to a promotion I found my way to Ham's - can't believe how big the menu is, lots of choices that could satisfy many different appetites. I also got a pound of roasted pulled pork to take home with me. On to the food - we got two sandwiches, a goomba and a cubano. Both were loaded with meat, extremely generous portions. The bread was fresh and tasty and the cubano had a nice crust due to the grilling of the sandwich. Both were good sandwiches, but not great, but at around $7 we definitely got what we paid for. If Ham's wanted to push it up another notch some homemade pickled veggies would serve them well. The cole slaw was a mayo dressed slaw, fine but again nothing special. You can find this cole slaw at most any place that makes cole slaw in the area. Suggestion - switch it up to a vinegar cole slaw that doesn't kill the calorie count. Service was quick and friendly but they did forget to wrap my sandwiches up to go, so it took a little extra time for me to get out the door. Overall - good solid food at a good price, will be back again.

Yep, still love this place! The sandwiches don't disappoint. The El Diablo is a big favorite among the lunch crew as well as the beer cheese soup, but in three years of lunch-time devotion, none of us has ever had anything we didn't like.

It was a nice day out and we were debating what we wanted to eat for lunch quick. We always found ourselves driving by Ham's Sandwich Shop when getting off 394 and finally decided to stop there for lunch. It's located in a strip mall right off 394 and if you didn't know it was located there, you'd never think twice about stopping at the strip mall to look for a place to eat. Right when you walk in, it's a simple setup. Chalk boards hang above the counter and list out the top selling items. Additionally, there is a single page selection of Mexican items; which seemed slightly out of place given the core items are deli sandwiches. They have daily specials, daily soups and many signature items. We ordered the Unforgettable and the El Diablo. The Unforgettable has turkey, bacon and avocado, we asked for it served on a french hoagie. The ingredients were fresh and went very well together. The hoagie bread was amazing! Very soft and a little airy. The only thing I'd do different with the hoagie bread is toasting it; adding a little crunch to every bite would be the added touch. The El Diablo was right up my alley with jalapeno bacon, turkey and pepper jack cheese. It's served warm and on hoagie bread. Great combination of flavors and the tomatoes and lettuce add a great touch. I'll for sure be going back as there are PLENTY of other options available on the menu. I didn't give 5 stars because of price. I do believe you get what you pay for; however, we paid $7 for a sandwich and nothing else came with it. To add value, I'd love to see them provide a larger sandwich for the same price or include something else (like a handful of salted chips and/or a whole pickle). Otherwise, an amazing place to grab a quick bite!

  • Elizabeth L.

Love this place. Great sandwiches! I often order the El Diablo because it is so delicious! But I would also recommend the Unforgettable. Go with a specialty sandwich for sure! Nice staff and thru have a discount/rewards program for frequent customers - just ask!! Enjoy!

The fam and I stopped in here almost by accident. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but since we asked for recommendations from the employee, I find that hard to believe. The sandwiches were so uninspired. Bland, boring, and so not worth the money we dropped at this place. I will not be going back.

  • Rachel A.

I don't understand the raving reviews of this place?? Went here for lunch last weekend and I decided to order the ham sandwich on a French roll... I get the sandwich and it has 1 tiny piece of ham on it and the rest was just bread. For $7 it was the most pathetic sandwich have ever ordered before. I will never return I will keep going to honey baked ham co. To get their awesome ham!

  • Trina S.

I can't believe I see this place every time I'm driving home and I've never tried their food...until last night. My brother was the one who decided to make a random stop at this sandwich shop because he was hungry and wanted to try something new. The sandwich selection is huge! Screw the Jimmy John's a few doors down! This stuff is premium! I ordered the Diablo and it is probably one of the top 3 sandwiches I've ever had. It had a nice kick to it with a ton of meat slices and some bacon. I actually finished the entire thing! I was so full but it tasted so good I had to finish it. The prices are a little more than Jimmy John's but when you see how much meat they put inside the sandwich you'll know it's worth it. I'm already craving another one right now so I'm definitely going back soon.

My wife and i had a Groupon to Ham's for $20 to the little hole in the wall next to a new Toys R Us near Ridgedale Mall. I entered and there were two large chalkboards with a plethora of offerings for the working people around the area. There were plenty of good options and then I saw the grilled sandwiches. I saw Cuban....I ordered Cuban.... Never go wrong with Cuban. My wife got the spinach salad with fat free ranch and we split a soda. To fill up the $20, we got a pasta and potato salad to go. Still waiting to try those. They also have ham to go you can buy and lots of other deli selections. The Cubano came out, and I would have liked to have it a little warmer, but it was a basic Cuban, some sliced ham, some sliced pork, some mustard and pickles. The bread was very good though, they get it from a local New French Bakery. Yummy and fresh. My wife gave me half of her salad, it was really nice, fresh spinach. The packaged fat free ranch was pretty good, and they gave us a solid bag of croutons to split. They were crunchy and flavorful. Love me some croutons. We took a walk around Lake Calhoun to work off the calories, it was a wonderful day in Minnesota and a nice start to the day with lunch at Ham's.

I'm not sure about a destination, but it's good for coming back from the new OPH in Plymouth. I'd say that their tuna is better than most sandwich/sub shops. They smear it with cream cheese instead of mayo., and spinach replaces shredded lettuce. I wouldn't mind trying some signature ham sandwiches. They have quite a retail selection. Ham or maple glazes, various mustards, soup starters, and roasted onion garlic jam looked really interesting. They do a large take out, but I was surprised at how small the seating was. I just pictured a fancier lay out for such an adventurous menu.

    (4)
  • Karen H.

One of my favorite places to go for lunch. I work nearby and come here at least a couple of times a month. Love the tuna sandwich and the unforgettable. Check in to get a free drink. A little more expensive and not as fast as Jimmy John's a few doors down, but more delicious.

Great sandwich shop near Ridgedale area. Been here twice now in the past week. Tried their Ruben and Fire in the Belly -- both we're very good. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back!

I love this place. It appears at first glance to be a basic and simple sandwich joint, but their sandwiches are not only unique but are also very well prepared. Much more bang for you buck than the chain places.

Well Ham's, I miss you. You have finally made me develop sandwich withdrawal. I used to get Ham's three times a week but have moved far away. They have awesome specials and the Diablo is the single best sandwich in the entire world. At Thanksgiving they have a cranberry Turkey Sandwich that rocks! If you have a large enough order they will deliver to you but to be honest its worth the trip and the funny part is Jimmy Johns is right next to them- hopefully slowly being put out of business! I like the ranch salad as well. Oh Ham's how I miss you.

  • Mike C.

I used to work near here and we would come here at least a once a week (we have been known to come here as often as three times a week). The place is a bit small, but it is brightly lit, the service is fast and friendly and they offer a whole lot of good sandwiches (both hot and cold) as well as soups and drinks. My personal favorites are: The Ham Stacker, CGH Classic, Cuban, and The Grinder NOTE: THE GRINDER IS NOT TO BE MESSED WITH UNLESS EXTREMELY AMBITIOUS. This specific item became known as the SJM (St. Jude Medical) challenge, as all newbies would be put to the test as to whether or not they were worthy of the title "lunchmate" by putting down a foot of meatballs, ham, cheese all on a crusty hoagie bun. Also, try their champagne mustard (pronounced Shum-pan-ya, if you like Christopher Walken)

  • Direct V.

The people here are the nicest- I notice that on every visit. Didn't put 5 stars because there's not much ambiance but I don't know what one could do with the small space if needing to accommodate a lunch crowd. It's a bit over nine bucks for a build-your-own with soda and cookie. I guess with prices these days that''s reasonable. A few people who said it was blah??? Ham's is flavor explosion compared to say Pig's or whatever. I always get the pastrami with marble rye and request it heated which they are awesome to do for me. Garlic butter, awesome. They have the best diet coke. Cucumbers and light hot peppers ('light' for this gringo was perfect). Want to try the sunflower spread but it's a dollar if it's not on your special sandwich :). Awesome largish chocolate chip cookies.

The El Diablo is a sandwich that's not to be missed. My wife got the Fire in the Belly, which was the best hot sandwich she'd had in a long while. I'll be back to try more, as this will become my go-to sandwich shop.

  • Thomas K.

Clients of mine recommended this place, so I stopped for lunch, I enjoyed my Italian Meatball Sub! I will go back, I'm curious to try some of the other sandwiches, especially the ones with the sunflower cream cheese on them. Service was very friendly and quick.

Overpriced for what you get. Mediocre cold subs, but great chili.

I LOVE this place. Wish it was bigger is my only complaint. Food is amazing and they're always friendly. I just ordered lunch for 12, faxed it in and they had it all ready in under 20 minutes. Everything was fresh and hot and the team loved it.

    (5)
  • Kevin C.

El Diablo. A well-balanced, slightly spicy turkey and bacon sandwich. The "french hoagie" roll is a disappointment - reminds me of a slightly enlarged hot dog bun. I'd order this again, but get the bun TOASTED. Was my first time here but I'll be back - lots of good looking choices on the menu.

    (4)
  • Mark S.

My first try was good. Not great. Very creative and interesting sandwiches, but the bread makes the sandwich - and it just seemed too basic. Hams will get another try, but first at-bat, slightly above average.

  • Tim O.

I'm only in town a couple times a month, but when I am, I make sure to stop here for lunch. Minnesota isn't exactly known for its delis, but Ham's makes this New Yorker feel at home. The Thanksgiving and Christmas hams are perfect every time (and provide brilliant alternatives to the usual fare), and somehow, the daily special sandwiches are always at least as good as their Godfather, already one of the best Italian-style sandwiches anywhere. It's always refreshing to be able to eat at a great local place and not have to resort to one of the thousands of chains around. One day I overheard the owner talking about the quality of meat and serving sizes he uses - it's a shame more business don't do things that way. Just on that comment alone, this place is a winner.

  • Jennifer C.

One of my favorite sandwich places! It's located in a shopping center, which isn't the most convenient. I've had several of the sandwiches on their menu, and have been very satisfied every time. You also get a peppermint patty with your sandwich. I would recommend the El Diablo. The jalapeno bacon is just the right amount of spice and works with everything else in the sandwich.

    (5)
  • Kelly P.

They were very helpful when catering a lunch for my company very last-minute. The food was fantastic and the service was next-to-none. I would absolutely recommend Ham's!

Seriously the best sandwiches in Minneapolis. I moved to New York, but during my last weekend in Minneapolis I demanded that we go to Ham's twice. I have not been disappointed by anything I've tried here. If you stick to their top 10 sandwiches you will leave happy.

My friend took me here the other day and I had never heard of it but now I'm hooked! I had the "El Diablo" sandwich and it was delicious. It was spicy and the perfect amount of food for a reasonable price. I've already suggested it to multiple people.

I have eaten here many times and the sandwiches are kick ass! A huge selection of them on the menu! Not a fan of the sides like pasta salad or cole slaw tho. Go with two sandwiches instead!

A long time ago, I used to go to Hams a few times a week because I worked nearby. It's one of the best sandwich shops that I've been to, and they also apparently sell great Hams. It's family owned, the the owners are extremely nice. I recommend the Godfather with ranch dressing substituted for the mayo. I've also heard that their salads are pretty good.

Wow, what a find! This place is a little hole in the wall in a shopping plaza, and I never knew it existed although I used to live around the corner. Shame on me! Some of my co-workers order from there all the time, and their sandwiches always looked like something I could easily make at home, so I wondered what the big hype was? One day we went there for lunch, and now I see why! Although their sandwiches look simple from the outside, just wait until you bite into one. You can immediately taste the freshness and time that went into preparing your hearty meal. I think their bread is the difference-maker. Two thumbs up on that from me. But the soup! Woo! Yes! Amen! I ordered the Chicken Enchilada - one of the best soups I have ever tried, no exaggeration. I would probably say it's in my top 5. I like hearty soups, this cup was just that. It was LOADED with black beans, white chicken breast, vegetables, and the absolute PERFECT amount of spices added to it. I like spicy food (again, I'm Jamaican, I have to like it), but I don't like food that's so spicy that it becomes painful to eat, and this dish held to that. On the other hand, it's hard to find "spicy food" that is actually "spicy" in good ole Minn-eee-sohh-taa haha. The Chicken Enchilada soup had the perfect equilibrium. You may get a slight glistening on your forehead, but you won't be scampering to the nearest waterhole. Because it's a hole in the wall, it gets very crowded during lunch time. We actually had to wait a few minutes for a table to clear, but I thought the food made up for it. Still got 5 stars from me! I will definitely be chipping in on the next delivery order to Ham's, my new favorite sandwich and soup shop in the cities.

I make it a point to stop by Ham's Sandwich shop whenever I can. The food is absolutely delicious! Very comparable in price to the sandwich chains, but with a much more interesting selection and superior ingredients. The staff is always extremely friendly, and the service is quick. Not as fast as a chain sandwich shop I suppose, but that's because they take the time to prepare their meals as opposed to running my lunch down and assembly line. However, I am always in and out quickly. I can be a bit of a picky eater and it seems like I've always got some sort of modification to my order, and they have never gotten it wrong. I've worked my way through most of the menu, and everything I have had has been delicious. Anything with the garlic spread is especially good, in my opinion. I assure you, you won't be disappointed with this place! (I had ot edit my reveiw a bit - my last sandwich wasn't as good as normal. Bummer).

For the last year or so I have eaten here at least 2 to 3 times a month. Hands down the sandwiches and subs are amazing. Every time I come in the service is great. Very friendly and quick. It gets very busy around lunch time so be prepared to wait a few minutes. I have eaten a wide variety of sandwiches and subs from here so it would be hard to name a favorite, but I could almost guarantee anything you get you will like. It is very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a great sandwich or sub or is looking to get away from the standard sub chains.

I love Ham's! Great food and wonderful service. I go back and forth between the Unforgettable and the El Diablo. Both are delicious.

Diners Drive Ins and Dives Worthy! This place is soooo delicious. The sandwiches are super fresh with the right balance of meat to bread and toppings. I took another reviewers advice and got my Diablo toasted and the bread was toasty, warm and soft all at once. My friend got the pulled bbq pork and I will for sure get that next time. Honestly - I'm a pulled pork afficionado to an extent and this is hands down some of the best pulled pork I've had. So many times at bbq places the meat has that kind of old, sitting around too long, reheated too many times taste and this was ultra fresh with the right amount of smokiness and none of the funky feeling in your mouth afterwards like you need to drink 10 gallons of water to get rid of the salt or MSG or whatever it is that does that to you at other BBQ places that shall remain nameless. So happy I found this place especially out in the Western burbs. This is small place but if more people knew about it and how fresh and tasty their food is, they'd have to open more locations or move into a much bigger space. So happy to have found this place!

This place is awesome! I work nearby, and have already made an online account so I can order on my lunch breaks. Well El Diablo, you were delicious and had the right amount of spice. Fir a person that doesn't really care for mayo, it was damn good. The ladies both at the register and making the sandwiches were super friendly and quick, and the sandwiches were similar price as Subway, maybe just a little bit more. Ingredients were fresh, you can even see through into the cooler where they keep the veggies right behind the counter. I honestly, can't wait until I can come back and try something else.

Ham's is this tiny little restaurant located in a mini outlet mall a few blocks from where I work. Went there for lunch today was blown away. I got the prime rib dipper with Aus Jus and a garlic spread and it was the best french dip I've ever had. I was blown away by the sandwich and the value of this place. My bill ran over $13, but I did buy their chocolate chip cookie cheesecake desert, which I am currently finishing in segments because it is richer than Macaulay Culkin in Richie Rich (completely underrated movie btw). Highly recommended.

What a great place. Some coupon got us to try it. Very busy at lunch time. We had a ham and a pork sandwich. Bread is awesome, both sandwiches are great. I liked the ham the best. Quick and friendly. As I drive by the place I think of how good it is, but the location is not convienient for me. Fixings were also good. I look forward to the next time I am in the area and can stop in. You will be impressed.

The Cheep Thrill ( Chicken Salad, Hickory Smoked Bacon and Provolone Cheese with Sunflower Cream Cheese Spread, Spinach and Tomato) is REALLY a delicious sandwich! Sunflower cream cheese just does something magical to bring it all together with a bang! Have it made on a croissant and it's even more awesome!

Best sandwiches EVER! Italian panini and the garlic spread is amazing. They should bottle the garlic spread! I moved to SD and wish we had one here! Great soup too!

Awesome place, so glad we found it. The "unforgettable" sandwich is my go-to. It truly is unforgettable. Ingredients are fresh, food fast and well-prepared. Bread and desserts are homemade. Staff is friendly.

As a business traveller I too often end up at chains like Jimmy Johns for lunch. Ham's is definitely a cut above, with more selection of creative sandwich combos. Hot sandwiches too. Clean and cozy place. El Diablo sandwich was really good. Recommend for lunch if you are nearby (drive the extra few minutes and try something local, it's worth it!)

Simply amazing!!!!! Came here before a sales call and half a sandwich (el diablo) and soup (ham and wild rice). Menu is a little overwhelming since there is a million subs, but I'm betting all are great! IT IS SIMPLY DELICIOUS!! Will be back when I'm in the area! Keep doing whatever it is you're doing cause it's working.

Drive past Jimmy John's & head to Ham's! Tons of sandwich & soup options you can't go wrong. The El Diablo sandwich is absolutely delicious! It's the perfect amount of spice for someone who isn't fond of spicy food. Along with great food, the staff is super friendly as well. *Check in on Yelp for deals!

We drive in to shop at Ridgedale Mall and it seems like we are always looking for a non-chain type of sandwich place (like this one) to get soup and a sandwich. I found this one on Yelp and tried the Diablo, as suggested and I was not disappointed. It was fresh, delicious, and the bun was soft, and warm like it was just baked an hour ago. They even had little samples out to taste to make you aware of their catering service.

Definitely my favorite deli. My favorite has to be El Diablo, and the Grilled Italian sandwich is also very good.
