Wow, the bread and pretzels here are fantastic! Tried the cardamom bread and it was delicious. It's covered in a sugar glaze or something and it is fabulous. I buttered mine up and heated slightly and it was pretty darn good. Apple strudel was nummy. I also tried the pretzel sticks. They didn't have any ready at time, but were coming out of oven soon. We waited 5 minutes, and I'm glad we did. I believe it was Aki himself who brought them out to us, guaranteeing we would like them. Man was he right! They were perfect. The salt taste and tender pretzel was about as good as it gets. I ate two on the spot they were so good! They did not have traditional salty pretzels at the time, but offered a sweet version with sugar on top. I did not try. The lady behind the counter said if we called ahead, they would make for us in the future. Sounded like they are very customer focused. The people here are great and very nice. Smell of bread baking is worth the stop alone. There are 3 or 4 tables to sit at and enjoy coffee with your purchase. Definitely give Aki's a try!
