Awesome pizza! The only pizza I will order in Burnsville. Like the other reviews have said, the place is small and dingy because it used to be Boomers which was a good local dive bar with really good bar food. You have to get the pizza delivered! The other items on the menu are so so.

So, a quiet enough place when we arrived and ordered. 45 minutes later the order arrived ( took 15 for the beer) and the place had picked up- plenty of activity. The good was good but not hot. Prices were normal. Reuben at 9.00. Beers were two 12 oz taps ( happy hour) for 5.50. Except for the one waitress in the entire restaurant section things were fine. She is normally alone here. We'll try once more.

This used to be Bumpers and now Carbones took over what a shame. We still tried to eat here since we already showed up. There were a few tables that haven't been cleaned yet and every other table was taken. We were standing around waiting for a waitress because wanted to sit. I'm shocked that they could let that many tables go uncleared. Unsure if we actually needed to now wait to be seated, but judging that there was no one in the front to greet us, I assumed not. Then a waitress finally popped up and acknowledged that a group of six wanted a table. She was quick to disappear after she cleared the table, not one word spoken. We sat there for a good five minutes before she actually came back to take drink orders. No specials anymore and no cheap burgers either. Which is why I loved bumpers. After the brief mediocre experience, we decided that this place it's just not for us anymore and we left. I don't mind Carbones, but I have determined I only like the one in lakeville.

They overcharged us for our bill. They charged us for way more drinks than we ordered. When we disputed the bill they became enraged, and said they will not discuss the bill, and to never come back. I was talking very calmly and rational to them. Would not have minded paying the bill if they would have taken the time to explain what we were being charged for. Very disappointed.

I just went to my old hang-out, "Bumpers", now Carbone's Pizza. I only went in for a few minutes to play some pull tabs. My first thought was that this was definatley not as comfortable as it was before-- very dark and gloomy atmosphere! Bumpers was kind of a neighborhood bar. I am not sure what this is supposed to be. I do like the televisions and the new bar, but the way the rest of the place is set up is confusing! I have been going to the old Bumpers for 15 years (both of their locations!) and this is my least favorite! Although I love Carbone's food, I would not be tempted to eat here.

Service is bad! The day bartenders are the worst in the metro area. The regular patrons at the bar were laughing when it took so long for us to get served. I asked one of the guys if this is how the service is every day. He said "yep- one of the girls will get you a drink when she's finished texting". We were going to order food at Carbones, but didn't have the patience. We went and ate at The Roadhouse across the street. Food and service there was great! Agree with Dita D's review below. Her review is spot on!

Not impressed! One thing I like to do is try pizza at new places I go. Ordered a large pan pizza and cheesy bread w/ marinara sauce. The crust is absolutely amazing!!! The sauce and cheese have no flavor to them and the cheesy bread was under cooked, way too much cheese and bland. The marinara sauce also very bland. The service was descent and service was quicker then the 50 minutes I was told over the phone. Would not recommend or be a repeat customer. Gave 2 stars because the crust really is that incredible!! If they could perfect the sauce and use better cheeses for more flavor they would have a great pizza!!

Loved the old Carbones in Burnsville. Went here once....Disappointment. The menu shrank & the food was terrible. Overly crowded. The casadias where not the same. No more large plates that we became accustomed to. The Nachos where small and the meat on them was the worst thing I've eaten. Management has gone to hell, with lousy service. The older crowd from Bumpers still show up. Just a bunch of old drunks, and I mean DRUNKS. Gone is the family Pizza place.

Super good pizza. Love the cheese and sauce. Not sure why there are so many under 5 star reviews. I guess i only use them for delivery so all I can review is the pizza and that is why I give it 5 stars. The Pizza is awesome.
