Small lil place, parking is a pain. But it is a decent restaurant. Your typical Americanized rice-and-beans on the side Mexican restaurant. I've been here a few times with my family. You get crazy large proportions, which I don't like. Mexican food doesn't stay good after a while when you take it home, so I'd rather pay a bit less for a smaller amount. They do have a la carta items available. Come hungry and you will leave happy :) My food always seems bland and unseasoned. However, the rest of my family always loves the food here and say that it's "consistently good" so the food I order is probably just boring (variations of tacos and chimichangus). I will say that their salsa is spectacular! They give you a very hot salsa and a mild, sweet salsa. You can mix in the hot into the mild to your taste, which I like. Service is always so nice and helpful, so that's a plus.

Chips and salsa are just, eh. You only get one free refill for your soda. Rice is delicious and beans are very American. I ordered cheese and onion enchiladas, and they weren't bad. If you're by here, stop by. If not, don't go out of your way to come here.

I have been eating here since I moved down in this area. Sadly though, after my last two experiences I am done being hopeful for better. When your avocados on your botana are over ripe and riddled with black spots, jalapenos that are about as pale as winter grass, and guacamole isn't remotely fresh it's time to find another restaurant.

I love this place. I've been going here for years and when I moved away I often still come back to eat there. I have had everything on their menu and it is great.

The food is your average Mexican fair. Nothing special. Starting to eat here less and less as the food quality is just not worth it unless you're in the area and need some Mexican food. Staff is super nice and the atmosphere is always pleasant. Kitchen could use a good cleaning (another reason I have stopped eating here as you can see the dirty kitchen from the counter when you pay for your food).

Great food, Americanized or not I don't care. It's all about size, taste, and price (insert lame sex joke here). Panchos has all three. The place was small but was packed for dinner on a wednsday. The service wasn't to quick but what was expected for a packed house. Our food came quick and hot. Everything was exactly as ordered and no one in our party of four complained. As for the salsa, I have had better. The "hot" was not hot and the mild wasn't what I expect from salsa. Now don't get me wrong, it was plenty good. Different but still good.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
