I honestly have nothing good to say about this restaurant. We were seated and did not see a server for 10 minutes. When he finally ordered drinks, I ordered hot water (I have a medicinal tea recommended by my doctor) and my boyfriend ordered a lemonade. We received our drinks and were ready to order. While I was ordering my food, her phone started ringing and she interrupted my order to walk away and answer her phone. She came back a few moments later and finished taking our order. We received our food fairly quickly but when she delivered the food to us, my boyfriend asked for a refill on his lemonade and I asked for a glass of water. She said okay and walked away. We waiting for about 5 minutes before we started looking around for our server. I just happened to look out the window and see her outside smoking and talking on her cell phone. Very displeased, we waved down another waitress to ask for our drinks because we were almost done with our food and we were basically dying of thirst. That waitress told us "sorry I'm not your server. You'll have to ask your waitress" and she goes over to the other side of the restaurant, sits down, and pulls out her phone to text or do whatever. I watched as our waitress comes through the front door, and go up to the food window and takes plates to another table without washing her hands after smoking outside. We were finished with our food at that point. We never got our drinks but she saw us waiting and she brought over the bill. On the bill it showed a charge of $1.99 for Hot Tea. As I said before, I ordered only Hot water which should not have been charged for. I didn't have time to wait for our waitress to come back so we went up to the counter to pay our check and I let that girl know what happen. She then told us that she does not have a "void card" and there's nothing she could do about it. VERY disappointed, I subtracted $2 from my tab and paid that amount Obviously we will not be returning to this establishment and I encourage the managers to reevaluate their staff expectations. The reason I give 2 stars for this review is only because the food was not horrible.

Food is always great and no problems, but the waitress's are almost always rude and seem like they don't care, not the best atmosphere when there's attitude from the them. Other then that food is good

I love getting carry outs from here....NOT! Always something missing, normally I get a salad, so Its missing the pita bread, or the dressing, or the fetta cheese on a salad that comes with fetta cheese ie Village Salad! My hubby hates going here because of this but I do like their food when its right! I hide the fact that theres something wrong now...because he laughs at me for continueing to order from the place! We always tip for carryouts....why you ask....I donno! He refuses to open and check the order, he shouldnt have to!

Decent Coney Island food. I've only had breakfast here, but it's what you would expect. My only complaint is sometimes the waitresses can seem rude, and never come and check on you. Prices are decent and restaurant seems clean. I do prefer the one on eureka because it is newer and the waitresses are friendlier.

Came in and finally found a clean table. 5 minutes later another couple sat down. They had their food before SARAH even took our order. Was going to get a to-go order for my parents but didn't want to wait a few hours for it. Watched 2 of the girls almost running to take care of their customers. Too bad I didn't have 1 of them. Only 3rd time in my life I did not tip. You get a tip when I get service. No service=no tip!!!

Their menu is abundant and the food is always amazing. Next to coney islands in Detroit they definitely have comparable coneys as well as a large selection of menu items that would satisfy any mood you're in! Great food! Amazing service! A+

Chicken Lemon Rice Soup! Other than that it's a bit nicer (i.e. cleaner) than a lot of the other Coney's on Telegraph b/w Dearborn & Taylor. Definitely worth the trip late nite, wait staff is great!!!

Great food, good prices. Friendly waitresses and good looking at that. Lots of room. Ideal for going on that late night restaurant binge. Strongly recommend.

(Holiday note: open on Thanksgiving but will still close at three to allow employees time to have dinner with family-nice compromise! Will reopen at midnight.) Visiting from out of town for Thanksgiving & we needed someplace open for breakfast/brunch to tide us over until dinner later in the day. This place hit the spot! Great breakfast-love how the omelette options can be made as a burrito or a skillet. My mother's 'Popeye' skillet with spinach & swiss came out quick, hot & sizzling. I added feta to my gyro omelette for some extra goodness & my dad enjoyed a special Coney. All was served with rapid & friendly service. Exactly what we were looking for this morning. All & in all-a great find!

Ok call me nuts! Idid it again!! Its the only coney around...and when they're good they're very good but mostly bad, so I ordered my usual, and my hubby has a few different dishes that he is willing to order if I HAVE to order from this place! When I order a salad, its never ever made the same way twice, feta cheese, no cheese, chopped nice bite size...veggies whole so you have to "prepare" your salad before you can dig in!! Ok so...ordered my salad before I left work, hubby picked the order up, reluctantly, he gets home, I open it up....looks ok.....where the %&@ dressing that I made a point of telling the carry out person not to forget?? Hubby looking smug, he knows better than to say, told you so, I get on the phone, she's sorry, she's so busy, people are being mean to her, I'm apologizing to her before I know it....she offers me free something next time, I say free what...she says maybe a peice of cheesecake...no thanks, I'm good I say. Ok, now I'm going to use the dressing from the fridge, hubby needs to wipe that grin off his face....and I start tossing, the veggies were huge (village salad, all veggies, no lettuce) so gotta spend a few minutes to "prepare"....hubbys done with his dinner now, finally dig in, somethings tasteing weird, like ransid, first taste the beets, nope, a hunk of cheese, yep, bad cheese! I call back, tell them to taste their cheese, very long story shortened, the salad got thrown out, and I get a salad gratis, next time! Grrr, yes, I'm sure there will be a next time....call me crazy!

We go here more than I'd like to, more so because we live a block away and I work across the street. I don't get the awesome reviews, really. This is coney food and it's just like any other coney island you've ever had. There's nothing "amazing" about it. You're going to get mediocre, cheap food and depending on what time of the day it is, you might get a decent waitress. I'd say about 75% of the time we have gone, we've had an inattentive waitress who was more concerned with hanging out with the other waitresses by the cash register than tending to our table. The carry out service is what you can't beat though. You call, it's ready in ten minutes, utensils/condiments packed in the bag, and it's never wrong.

Exactly what you'd expect from a Leo's Coney Island. Perfectly mediocre food. Decent service. End of story. The chicken lemon rice soup was fine, but it doesn't live up to the hype.

Had a very good Coney Island meal here. They cooked the chicken in my Greek salad to a nice char, but still juicy. The waitress was friendly, but not overly so. She brought refills when we needed the and brought the bill without making us wait. Good job, Leo's!

Big fan of the spinach greek salad. Good prices, great service, and good solid coney island grub. Stuff I have had here: - coney dog. Prefer Lafayette but that's another story. It's still a great coney though. - chicken gyro. Good. Lots of chicken and was quite large. - spinach greek salad. This is what will bring me back again. Really very good.

Love Leo's. Great Coney Island. Basic coney food. I'd choose it over the Senate any day!

The original Leo's opened up in Southfield on Nine mile rd. probably 30-35 years ago. No matter which one I've been to (they have many) the food has been consistently good. I love going to a restaurant that our favorites always taste the same - yummy. One-up with chili, onions and mustard, you can count on the hot dog having a nice crunch to it and everything blends in for a Detroit special that keeps us going back. The two of us share a small Greek salad with Leo's dressing, a bowl of chile with two spoons, 2-ups and the bill is around $12.00! Yep, we'll be going there for years to come.

Leo's is, for want of a better word, awesome. Their "famous" Greek salad is not to be missed, but it is their chicken gyro sandwich and chicken fingers pita that keeps me coming back again and again. I am not at all a coney dog eater, but friends and family I've visited Leo's with never fail to tell me I'm missing something great.

Coney Islands are a Detroit thing. They have them in other cities, but there's nothing like a Detroit Coney. We stopped at Leo's, which used to be a Denny's, to grab a bite to eat. I was in the mood for curly fries, but I just had to sample a Coney since it's been so long since I've had one. That Coney tasted pretty darn good after a few drinks!
