This place went from great to horrible. Very slow service. I sat patiently in line to place my order through the drive through. There were two cars at the window and after 10 minutes the car in 2nd position decided to pull away, park, and go inside to get his food. Now im still waiting and the only car at the window and received their food. No....I have not yet heard a voice come out of that tiny speaker box. There are now 3 cars behind me. I decide to pull it forward to the window and place my simple order for chilli cheese fries. No...they care I was sitting there. They saw me...continued to laugh and talk....GIRL BYE! !! SO I SEE the car behind me try the same technique. A head did pop out the window. . So glad he was acknowledged. So...long story short. ..wont be supporting local business....drive my happy butt 1/2 mile up to national....there was a line in the drive through....amazing I placed my order and was out in 10 minutes. Now thats service!

Eh, it's ok. The fries are great, but the fish I just ate was not. I've had their chicken pita a long time ago and that was pretty good. Would I go here again - probably because they have a drive thru, but I won't rush back.

They have a very high turn over rate and I can see why the owner doe's not seem very pleasant to work for.. But otherwise the food was not bad and it seems clean..

Let me start by saying out of the approximately 10 times in the last 18 months that I have been to this restaurant this is the first time I have ever had an issue, but this issue is so severe that it has strayed from my normal five star . The only saving grace this evening is rosie, the shift leader who took 5 dollars out of her own pocket and a $5 gift certificate in order to help compensate me. Thank you for that rosie, you are the only reason I will go back. I called at 630 pm for a carry out of a philly cheese steak pizza and a hot turkey sandwich I was told due to the fact the kitchen was backed up it would take 20 minutes instead of the normal 10. I arrive at the restaurant 30 minutes after my food ordered and still waited 10 minutes to get my food. I was very upset and asked for some sort of compensation for the fact it took twice as long as promised and I was told the owner John would give me free dessert or beverages but not a refund or gift certificate to encourage me to come back. Thank you Rosie for caring enough about one customer to try and fix what your owner did not.

First time here and based on my breakfast it won't be the last. I ordered blueberry pancakes with sausage links and scrambled eggs. Pancakes arrived filled with blueberries and were nice and fluffy. Eggs were also good but sausage was just meh. My cousin ordered the Italian sausage and eggs and it smelled terrific and he said it was very good. Coffee refills were plentiful, I could barely take a sip without a refill being offered. Very friendly staff, felt right at home. Booths are spacious as they are all booths here and I'm on the larger side of the spectrum, so you know where I'm coming from. Restrooms were also very clean.

1 visit and likely no more. Shish kebob was well, well, well done. We (wife and I) ordered it medium rare. I know it is hard to cook shish kebob but this obviously had been left on the flame and forgotten by mistake, then retrieved and served to my wife and I. Waitress was tolerable but not overly friendly. Not rude but just not real friendly either. Kind of in the middle. When I complained about the over cooked kebobs she said, "They cook them all this way. If I take it back it will come back the same way" Whatever. It was like shoe leather and $11.00 x 2 down the drain. Could not eat it. Salad was fine. Booth, table and plates were clean. Kebobs were just horrible. Paid full price x 2 and learned a lesson. No more Noni's for my wife and I...ever!

its not terrible but, ive had better! Went there first time ever a few days ago. Nothing amazing. Little family diner. The food was alright. Wasnt bad and id go back for the food. The prices were reasonable. The service was crap! A lady (manager or co worker) had to tell the waitress to greet us. She said have a seat wherever. It took her forever to come get us drinks. Once she brought the food we didnt see her again. Def not my fav spot to eat BUT, something different.

Went there on a Saturday morning for a simple, basic breakfast. We could seat ourselves, that was fine, but no one brought us a menu and many tables were un-bussed. Went to the hostess stand to grab 2 menus, and no one even acknowledged that I had to do this myself, yet 3 girls were standing there. Then got my coffee, but no silverware to stir with, so had to go find silverware myself. Went in to the bathroom to wash my hands, and it was filthy. The waitress took our order, but after 30 minutes, no pancakes or breakfast special was ready. My husband's orange juice came in a dirty glass. I asked the waitress when the food would be ready, and she said the kitchen is going as fast as it can. The restaurant was only 1/2 full. We got up and left. We eat out a lot and this place did not care and was not very clean. Glad I didn't eat there after all.

I love this place. Their portions are always amazing, and their menu is quite extensive. I personally love their breakfast, but everything from their saganaki to their burgers or even their nachos are great. Also, despite what this page says, they are 24 hours. A great night time spot since the Coney at 11 & Gratiot stopped being 24 hours.

Says everything is homemade however if you go through the drive threw the first window (which they don't use) has a shelf filled with canned "mashed potatoes" "tomatoe sauce" "cabbage" that doesn't seem fresh or homemade to me....

6 open tables, not a one wiped down. All were waiting for table service. Had to walk around the restaurant once to find a clean table. Menus in tatters. Menu too diverse, makes you wonder how they can store all that variety in food and keep it fresh. Ordered Hot Turkey Sandwich which is a staple in all diners. Instant mashed potatoes, canned gravy, cold corn, nothing was "hot" about this Hot Turkey Sandwich. At least the meat was not sliced turkey cold cuts. Wife had Cream of Broccoli soup and it looked like over-starched gloop. The service was fair. The waitress was pleasant and courteous if not a bit glib, what you'd expect from a two bit diner. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Never going back here we were the only ones in this slow place. Took forever to get a waitress and our food. Once the food was served she never came back to check on us except to drop the bill off.

Moving forward with my breakfast brigade activities is Noni's Grill. Again, my friend and I went here early morning to grab a quick bite to eat and I enjoyed it. I ordered the two eggs with ham, potatoes and toast. The food was nice and the restaurant was very clean, which I enjoy because it not only shows that employees care, but also the customers too. My eggs were poached perfectly and my ham was smokey and sweet, a great balance of both worlds. My hash browns were CRAZY big portioned! I was surprised and aroused (in a weird way) at the same time. The waitress was cool too. I'll probably be back.

Good food. Good service. Reasonable prices. Did not have any problems that other diners had.

Awesome place to eat, great food, large selection, large quantity of food and very good prices. Greek pita is the best!!! I would defiantly recommend this restaurant.

I have never been to this place before so I thought I'd try it. the food was decent and reasonably priced. I chose the philly cheese steak sandwich and it was delicious. I would come back here again.

Do not go to Noni's Grille. The chili on the chili cheese fries was bad and the owner was gonna only take .16 off because the waitress replaced them. I told him the chili was crap and he argues with me saying we got fries for free. No the chili tasted bad ao the waitress replaced it and you take the chili fries off the bill. This was 3 of 3 and because of the owners attitude we will never be back here. The only food thing was the waitress and the chicken.

Oh, cruel fate - why must you reveal to me my idyllic neighborhood diner a mere 6 months before I move away? Noni's is my go-to-place for a quiet Sunday breakfast, for the "Ooh, gyros!" craving and for the "Thanks for visiting, Mom" lunch. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, with pictures of the owner's family posted behind the cash register and the man in charge coming around to talk with the patrons. The waitstaff have always been excellent and the food is just what you want from a diner. Classic dishes, executed properly without fuss or fanfare. I don't want you to infuse my eggs with rosemary truffle oil, and I certainly don't care what Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée my coffee beans were granted. I want reliable comfort food in a homey atmosphere and Noni's provides that every single time. The only possible criticism I can think of for Noni's is that their menu is a little too wide ranging: burgers + salads + pita/gyro + blue plate specials + barbeque + pasta + breakfast is a bit of a reach. However, they're new so I'm granting them the "finding their way" grace period of 6 months to a year - go eat there so they can continue to hone their craft.

24/7 Diner with all the food you could want. Wraps here are amazing. Fries are always good. Breakfast specials, Greek specialties, Italian, American, everything! Try their breakfast scramble or the Greek Chicken wrap... always a good eat after a late night of partyin it up.

Ok food, HORRENDOUS service. Last time I stopped here, I stood in the doorway for several minutes waiting to be seated or greeted while waitstaff sat at the counter counting their tips. I walked out, and THAT was when I told the guy in the parking lot ( the owner) that they lost a customer. This time, I get greeted at the door and sat, and order chix parm and coffee. Halfway through the first chix I ran outta coffee.....and never saw the waitress again. 20 minutes I waited for a cup to get refilled, eating 3/4 of a meal with nothing to drink. All the while , other staff walked right past with the pot. Sorry, won't be back unless forced at gunpoint. If you go, drink slow, because you're not likely to see waitstaff at your table after you get your food,if at all.

Someone recommended this place and I read a good review or two and I've been meaning to check it out. Pros: First off the waitress was great. Pita's are massive, portions were massive, I like massive. Food taste was good. Prices were reasonable. Cons: Soup was luke warm but I didn't want to send it back. Who likes sending food back? If someone's having a bad day or thinks you're a prude then your food is in their hands, get my drift? Interior of some pieces of the broasted chicken were undercooked, I didn't notice this until eating the leftovers the next day. 2.75 Stars

Very good club sandwich with fresh high quality ingredients; however the freedom fries are pretty weak. Noni's is clean and the service is good. A great value. Lunch for two under $20. Much better than the coney islands in the area.

Noni's Grill is a newish diner on Gratiot just south of 12 Mile. Being that its very close to my home, I've had the opportunity to eat here several times and am thus far pleased with their food and service. Noni's is another in a line of Greek-centric diners on this strip of Gratiot in Roseville. I've personally found that the cleanliness of their facility and taste of the dishes they serve are what places Noni's as my favorite small diner in the area. While the staff is friendly, prices are solid, and taste is spot-on, it seems that the rest of the area hasn't yet given Noni's the shot it deserves. Not to complain about the lack of a wait, but it seems there's never enough butts in the seats here to do justice to the establishment. Maybe this review can add a few. I suppose part of the problem is that diners thrive off regular customers so naturally, Noni's is only now building its rapport with the locals but part of me wonders if it isn't the decor or building itself. It just seems to me that it's easy to miss this place and the inside is somewhat bare of decor, which for some can be refreshing. The standard water colors of the Greek Islands and the Acropolis aren't hanging all over and fake plants aren't collecting dust. It isn't all harsh fluorescent bulbs and linoleum counters either. It's a very open layout and it really emphasizes one of the draws to this place, which is that it is the cleanest diner I've been to in a long time. So that's Noni's. There's no menu item that I feel sets it apart but everything is done well, which I can certainly appreciate. It's a solid bet for a good meal and that's all I can really ask for from any diner.

the last few times I've been there the service was really slow. There weren't a lot a customers and there were many waitress milling about, but it still took a long time to get served.

"Do you know what you want?" And she said it really shitty. My chicken pot pie was raw dough "What do you want me to do about it?" And she said it really shitty. Shitty food, shitty service.

Great little diner, open 24/7 and they have a drive through. At first there was some confusion as to who our waitress was, one woman seated us, a second woman who was clearly unhappy having to take our order because it wasn't her section, and then finally a third one who delivered the food and took care of us until the end. As long as I get my food I could care less who brings it unless there's an attitude. My friend and I split an order of saganaki (opa!) and it was perfect, just like old school Greek Town. My friend and I also each ordered the small super nachos and the portions were huge, it was easily 2 meals and I took most of mine home. My friend ordered hers without black olives and I ordered mine without green peppers. For some reason both orders came without black olives which I love so I asked for some on the side. I didn't make a huge deal out of it but the waitress who took our order seemed to have an issue. The waitress who took our order (not the one who served us) came back when I complained that I didn't have any black olives. She was coming back to scold me that I asked for no black olives but when she realized her mistake that I wasn't the one who didn't want black olives she said "Okay then" like I was trying to get away with something. I think she was really ready to defend her order taking skills like that's on ME. Not cool. Other than that our real waitress was great. I'm often disappointed by nachos at diners but I had a craving and the pic looked good so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Super tasty, seasoned beef, hot and fresh. Bland salsa and too many jalapenos but they were easy to pick off. Our actual waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. I will definitely be back.
