My biggest gripe is that I can't fit in any of their booths because I'm a big guy (fat) All the seating is too tight.

Looking for a new pizza place. Try this, you won't be disappointed. We ordered pizza carryout since we were working on my daughter's house. She needed to feed the masses. We ordered the pie with pepperoni and sausage. I was pleasantly surprised at how much pepperoni and sausage was on it. The pepperoni is sliced at the right thickness to cause it to curl up on the sides and allow it to puddle some grease. My favorite. The sausage was a little sweet tasting. The sauce is a little sparse but almost the right amount. We also had a salad. It was okay, not special. It was fresh lettuce and all the other onions, peppers, tomatoes, were just as fresh. We had to try the cannoli. They were pretty decent. They were a deep-fried tube of pastry filled with sweetened and flavored ricotta cheeses. The restaurant looked a little dated when I went in to pick up the pies. I doubt whether we'll be going for dinner there but the pizza was pretty decent. I am sure we will be going back here since we already have.

I have been eating at Corsi's for 20 years and I love it!! It is definitely a hometown favorite. It is not my favorite metro Detroit Italian restaurant, but I love the environment and comfort of the place. For some reason I think that the pizza was better a few years ago than it is today, but everything else is just as it was 20 years ago! I love that you see the family that owns it EVERY time you go, it shows just how much they care about the restaurant. If you are in Livonia definitely try it out!

Phenomenal friendly service, outstanding food and a family environment! pizza is to die for! Toppings are never frugal, and always delicious. Pastas are always cooked to perfection topped with homemade sauces to match! I have never been disappointed coming here. Corsi's is by far my favorite restaurant, I highly recommend this restaurant to any and everyone!

Corsi's is ok. I agree with other reviews; the sauce and crust are on the boring side. However, you can get flavored crusts, which are very good. Their cheese bread is super yummy, and Corsi's loads on the pizza toppings - this is the main reason we are repeat customers.

The wife was craving a calzone so I googled a place nearby. My results included Corsi's which had also noted that it was rated the best pizza in Livonia for several years, so I thought, "why not". Food was excellent. I ordered a small deep dish pizza with black olives and she ordered a calzone with cheese and mushrooms. Very "homemade" taste with fresh mushrooms in the calzone. Cheese oozing out of every bite. The pizza was very good also. Good quality cheese and the bread/crust would rival the best pizza joints around. Sauce was not overwhelming, which is how I like it. Dining area is very small, which I was a bit surprised about but they also have a banquet hall attached where they have buffets once a month. It also looked like it could use some remodeling. Booths and decor are very vintage. Food was so good, we had to get some dessert. I got a Canoli and she got Tiramisu. Although they are not made in house, they are brought in by a local italian bakery we were told. Still very tasty. Prices were reasonable, although I think $10 for a small pizza is a bit high.

Not real sure what the other reviewers see in this pizza . The sauce is extremely boring and the crust bland. The price is on the high end. I would rather eat papa Romanos

This is definitely one of the most under-rated pizza spots in metro-Detroit. It's delicious, reliable, and family friendly. Not the greatest ambiance by any means - but if you're looking for a low key pizza and beer - this is totally your spot.

Fabulous Chewy crust with the corn meal on the bottom. The pepperonis that shrink and curl crunchy when you cook them well. Personally my favorite pizza in Detroit.

The pizza is fantastic, get that if you go here. Don't really mess around with the pastas, but they are alright...especially if you compare that to a chain place like Olive Garden. Those Olive Garden commercials are so stupid, everyone is so happy because the food is so great - well guess what?? The food there is shit. Corsi's has a buffet on Wednesdays, haven't gone before but I hear it is pretty sweet.

Pizza is 4.5-star, they have great crust and cheese and above-average pepperoni, and have a good balance of sauce, cheese and toppings. I docked another half-point because the gnocchi marinara isn't the best, and that's the pasta I base my opinion of Italian restaurants on.

Not much of a fan of eat in pizza, but we have tried the pasta dishes a few times and have always been disappointed. The soups are terrible, ranging from tasteless to gross. Same goes for the salad and bread. The pasta dishes themselves are nothing special.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
