This place is attractive and the menu is extensive. However, on 2 occasions I have found the steak to be sub-par. I would not eat here again. Webster's touts its high rankings, but I found it lacking. It certainly has an extensive beef menu as well as some dishes not non-beefeaters. on my first occasion i had the filet. it was tough, though huge. On the next visit i had the rib-eye. Again tough but large. I considered the prices ludicrous for the quality of beef. I have no problem paying large for good food. However cruel it may sound I thought the meat was akin to something you would order at Ponderosa. The service was fine and the hostess was especially nice.

If you're looking for good eats in Kalamazoo, Webster's will not let you down. While I wish I tried everything on the menu, the cheese dip and NY strips left nothing to be asked for. Sit at the bar on a weeknight for some great conversation to go with your food. While I've been to better, not at this price point nor in Kalamazoo.

The service was great and would get 5 stars. Problem was the steak. We ordered the beef taste plate first where you can have a sampling of three different steaks they serve. After trying them all I decided on the 16 once Kobe ($60.00) as it was delicious and very tender. Then the steak came... I don't believe for a second that the steak that came was Kobe as it tasted quite different and rather tough. I believe the served me the Prime which was my least favorite of the three and close to half the price. Plus my girlfriend got a smaller cut of the Kobe and hers tasted totally different than mine as well. I was pretty upset to say the least. I can't prove that they deceived me, but that steak was not what I ordered.

Without a doubt, Webster's is the absolute best restaurant in Kalamazoo. Sure...things aren't always perfect, that would be impossible, but as a standard, Webster's delivers more often than not and always always always does its best to ensure guest satisfaction. For those of you not completely captivated by your dining experience, I encourage you to contact the general manager personally, describe your situation, explain why your experience wasn't perfect, and then watch as the "we'll make it right" mentality is put into practice. If you decide to remain mute and simply complain on a website, well...I guess you'll never fully understand the joy a manager receives when given an opportunity to show a dissatisfied guest that his/her situation is not how business is done in their restaurant; let Webster's make you a believer again and show you why negative feedback is like gold in an industry as unique as hospitality.

Great food and great service! Thank you for making our anniversary special for two years straight! The dry aged specials are amazing along with the whole atmosphere. Really enjoy how we can order flowers at the same time when making a reservation online, and the flowers will be there waiting on the table when you get seated. The staff is knowledgable and great as well. A perfect place to take your other half on a very romantic evening. Be prepared to spend some money but it's worth it! Delicious and memorable experience. My wife surprised me with date night at Webster's and it is absolutely delicious. I don't think I've had better steak anywhere and I've been traveling the U.S. For more than five years. The ribeye was melt in your mouth delicious. Expect to pay a premium for the experience ($150-$200 for two) but know that you'll get fantastic service from the staff and a delicious meal.

Went for restaurant week food was good but not great. One in our party ordered steak medium cooked. Came bloody and sent back still too rare. Waiter gave Poor service had to ask for pepper and Salt. Waiter did not know the vegetables that came with filet. Potatoes cool temp . And all this was to promote Websters?

Webster's Prime at the Raddison in Kalamazoo. This is a shout out about a restaurant tucked into the 2nd floor of the Raddison downtown. We had an extroidinaire experience from the beautiful food by sous chef Nate and chef to the service. We started with a lobster starter with grape tomatoes topped with mozzarella with arugula and sorrel. Followed by a lobster bisque, Ceasar salad, beef sampler and cream brûlée. If I were a food journalist my list of adjectives would be filled with marvelous tastes. It is a happy place the servers are knowledgeable, even our waitress Dana's other tables came to say hello. Highly Recommend. Dress is relaxed and you can order just a glass of wine and a starter. We split everything.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Webster's last Friday and we loved the food! I had read a few of the reviews prior to dining and was a little concerned so I emailed the chef who in turn put me in touch with Sous Chef Nate. I told Chef Nate we were celebrating my birthday and he offered to create a special menu for us after asking a few questions to find out our likes and dislikes. Every dish he prepared was fantastic and the courses included bone marrow, main lobster, carpaccio, puttanesca, risotto and ribeye spinalis with roasted pear for dessert. Sommelier Alexa did a great job pairing wines with each course. Thanks also to our highly professional server, Natalya! We will be back! Thanks again, Chef Nate!

Webster's Prime sure knows how to make you feel special. When I arrived, the hostess wished me a happy birthday. Once seated, I received a birthday card signed by all the staff working. Very thoughtful. Our waitress, Anna, was fantastic and the meal was delicious (as always). The chef came by at the end to ensure our satisfaction. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Checked out the lounge this past Wednesday with some friends because we had heard about their "bar menu." We were happy to find out that it was "Wine Down Wednesday" at that wine was half off. The bar menu did offer some items that were less expensive than you would find on the menu. The selection was pretty small, consisting of a few "Shareables" (cheese plate, cakes plate, ocean plate, etc.) and some sandwiches. I ended up getting the bisque (which was pretty incredible) and the Chop Salad (also very good) from the regular steakhouse menu which is also available in the lounge. I wish there were a few more options on the bar menu, though. Overall, we all enjoyed the atmosphere and will probably be back again for some wine on a Wednesday. We always forget about this restaurant, tucked away on the second floor of the Radisson. I'm glad we remembered it this time!

Terrible !!! I planned a whole night out for my fiancé stayed at the hotel and made reservations at websters, we started w drinks I had wine the pour was cheap considering the price and the wine was nothing special, we got the seafood app wow ! Not only overcooked shrimp and salmon we literally got 4 bites in an unappetizing sauce of some sort for 18 dollars. Here comes our salad and soup, my ceaser was so tiny tasteless and drenched in a dressing that did not taste like ceaser no croutons no Parmesan ! The soup was average but honestly the only thing he liked. Our steaks got there next and let's just say we took one bite each and right away pushed both out plates to the middle of the table, they were cooked to the right temp but they were tasteless, I understand this no Kinsey house but really if you're going to charge Kinsey prices atleast get it right!!

Unfortunately, the food was overpriced for its advertised quality. I will admit, the steak was cooked as ordered--but had little flavor. However, for the cost, I expected both better food and better service. I will not be coming back for their steak. The silver lining was the order of scallops. Would not recommend primarily due to service quality.

We came here at the start of restaurant week to give this place a try. The atmosphere was expensive, dark, and quiet. We sat right by the kitchen and behind the piano player. Our hostess was very nice, but definitely asked way too many questions. We got the restaurant week Lobster Bisque, Hangar Steak (medium rare), and the Chocolate torte. Everything tasted pretty good - until three hours later when I was vomiting out bits and pieces of my steak. I went through 36 hours of food poisoning with this place and will not be returning.

Inside the Radisson hotel on the 2nd floor. The staff is very friendly and polite. We really enjoyed the New Zealand style steaks and asparagus. The mashed potatoes were ok and the red wine list could use a little work. We tasted a handful of red wines before we went with a bottle...

Quite the find in the Kalamazoo area!!! I wish I had tried Webster's back when I attended WMU, but then again I've heard it's gotten a LOT better since waaaaaay back then - so maybe I'm glad I waited. :) The food is stellar and of a quality that you wouldn't expect to find in Kalamazoo - heck, maybe in all of Michigan. It can definitely get a little pricey depending on what you order, but trust me, it's well worth it. I always love an open kitchen - it's great to be able to watch the chefs preparing the food. Everyone was extremely professional and the decor was classy but comfortable - great for a special night out.

This would be a five star review if not for the fairly awkward service. The food was fantastic. We started with Caesar salads (note: the croutons contain fennel which I don't like but I'm sure a lot of people do). I had the Kobe steak, my boyfriend had the halibut, and we split the truffle potatoes, twice baked potatoes, and asparagus. My steak was cooked perfectly--I always order medium rare and far too many places over or under cook it. I'm a steak girl, and I loved my steak here. It was wonderful. They found out it was my birthday and brought out a happy birthday chocolate torte type dessert. They also gave me a rose before we left. It was very sweet. All of the service was highly attentive; however, it was a little too much. I like when servers and managers are nice and ask basic questions like "how are you doing tonight?" but I don't think they should pry into what my plans for the night are or try to carry on the conversation while we're trying to eat. To me, going to a nice restaurant means that the servers are pleasant but distant and almost intuitively know what customers want. This puts those customers at ease. We were slightly uncomfortable the whole time.

My husband and I ate here for dinner tonight and were pleasantly surprised. The prices were not over the top at all- in fact, we've been to higher priced places with lesser quality food- so we felt that things were priced quite competitively. There was a special menu for a Valentine's week special, however, we decided to order off the main menu. We both enjoyed Caesar salads and a delicious miniature loaf of warm pretzel bread. His wagyu Kobe steak was cooked to perfection at a medium rare temperature as was my medium ribeye. We sampled sauteed mushrooms and onions, smashed potatoes, baked macaroni and cheese, and a vegetable risotto and all were very good. The service was warm and attentive and we can't wait to return!

This is the place to go when you want to celebrate something really special and money is not an issue. I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the lobster bisque, and I could make a meal out of just that, but everything I've ever ordered here has been perfect! We enjoy dressing up to eat here, but have noticed some people seem to feel that upscale casual is okay. I disagree, but perhaps that's just me. I prefer to wear a dress and enjoy my husband in a suit.
