When you are on the go at the airport, you definitely can't go wrong with Hungry Howies. The pizza was fresh and hot. Perfect slices and made just right.

Not bad pizza. I prefer thin crust but this was good thick crust. Crisp without being overcooked. Typical airport pricing.

As far as airport food goes you can't go wrong with a slice of pepperoni pizza. Especially when you're flight gets canceled then delayed then arrives late and you miss your connecting flight home (ok done with travel ramble just had to get it out). It wa tasty and perfect and warm and it made me feel better so that's all that matters. The only downside is that back home in Fort Lauderdale I can get a whole pizza from them for $5 and at the airport one slice of peperoni cost $4.02 with tax.

I came here after getting stuck in Detroit during a layover. I got the pizza sub with tomatoes and lettuce. I'm not really sure this counts as pizza, but it did taste like pizza and was pretty big and filling. The main problem I had was that it was just way too greasy. I know pizza isn't the healthiest good in the world but the amount of oil on that sub was just too much for me. I regret not getting something healthier at the adjacent Quiznos.

Word of advice, if what you want isn't in the case already, go somewhere else. However, waiting 20 minutes was unacceptable. It's an airport, we've all got somewhere else to be. Sandwich was tasty enough, lots of meat, albet a little greasy, but hey it's a pizza place and to be expected.

It's probably my fault for getting a vegetarian sub at a pizza place, but I wanted some semblance of vegetables and the Quiznos veggie sub available next to this place is not good. I don't expect much from airport food, but this was pretty bad. It was dripping with grease and despite asking for no olives, stuffed with mostly olives, plus uncooked pepper and awful, pale tomatoes. The cheese was some unrecognizable tasteless blend including cheddar (not remotely pizza-like). The only thing redeemable about this was the crust. I was super hungry and in a rush so I ate it. Next time I'll stick with pizza, which is probably harder to ruin.

Who would have thought pizza from an airport fast food joint would actually taste good? We didn't have much time between flights, so we looked for the fast food places at the end of the terminal. After my experience with Quiznos at BWI, I decided to go for the pizza at Hungry Howies- one meat lovers slice. It was topped with a good helping of meat, and the crust was seasoned really well- I guess thats one of their trademarks. Overall I was pretty impressed considering what it was.

I had a mixed experience at this place. I was waiting for a flight at a nearby gate so I decided to try this place out. I just got a slice of cheese pizza. The pizza was ok, I was not impressed by the crust but the slice itself did the job. It was decent. The serving lady who helped me was so notably polite and sweet, she really stood out to me as being great. So, when my flight got delayed further and I was given a small airport voucher, I decided to go back to Hungry Howies and get some chicken wings. I went back because my first experience had been ok. It was like night and day though. The sweet lady was gone and instead the woman working had this nasty bad attitude. She really should not have been working in a customer-facing position. She complained about, "All these people paying with airline vouchers," ... um, woman, you work in an airport, if you have a problem with that then WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE. She also was not at all accommodating when dealing with stressed out travelers who are having to make it to their flights and dealing with delays. I went to other places in this airport on a previous trip and did not see anyone with that kind of bad attitude. Basically, she was really, really rude. (I am leaving a few of her rude comments out of this review, this is just the nutshell). Also, the chicken wings were awful and I do think that she had something to do with that. One of them was still cold and I had to throw it away. Also after I ate a few of them, I started developing a sore throat so either she did something to them or the food preparation standards at that place are not good enough. In short, that place needs to be better managed. They need to pay better attention to the consistency of their staff and standards. I wouldn't go back, there are other places in the airport to go. If I had it to do over, I would have gone to one of the nicer restaurants nearby. This review is a one star based on my second experience there.

Decent pizza for an airport. Short line, not too expensive. ($7.74 for an 8" mini pizza). The crust was pretty tasty (they brag about their "flavored crust" ) Good for those pressed for time.

Little individual pizza was pretty good, and my cashier, Brittany, was very nice and helpful. Her manager, Fares, was inexcusably rude -- he actually pushed in front of me and interrupted my order to chastise the clerk about needing napkins in the dispenser. That kind of thing should never be seen by a customer. He came by while I was eating to "make sure I was all right," and sort of apologized, right before basically saying, "but she started it." Just incredible. Would have been three stars but for the manager's behavior.

So, picked up a 'za with doubpe cheese and garlic crust 10 minutes before close. Props to selling it to me that late, ie staying open while it was made. Crust without garlic would have been par with papa johns without the garli, with, was pretty damn tasty. The double cheese was awsome, they use a decent blend. Next time I'm in Detroit, will def order from again.

after eating some really horrible sushi at musashi at the central terminal link area, this place was a godsend. not only was my meat lover's packed with meat, but the cute cashier girl who was obviously crushing on me gave me an extra slice, served with a wink. the nice, greasy slices of a meaty, cheese pie helped sedate me for my trip back to cali. if i went next door to the near by bar i think i would've passed out at the gate and missed my flight. it just so happened that i had self control that evening... a rare occasion...
