Habib's is a-ok, as the three stars indicate. I was impressed on my first visit, but since then have not been overly wowed. Very good food, good service, very clean. The decor is upscale for a middle eastern place. I just don't find the food to be consistent. The basil oil they bring out with the bread is tatsy, although not middle eastern in my opinion. The bread seems store bought and not made in house like at Mezza and Sahara, but still warm and fresh. The Sujuk was ok, not nearly as spicy as we like it, but good still. I hear the soups are great but I have yet to try. There are quite a few Italian and American options on the menu, my friend enjoyed the fish sandwich VERY much. I thought the shwarma sandwich was good, not amazing. If I am in Dearborn, I will totally eat here until I find a hidden gem type place. Not sure why I haven't searched that type of place out yet! Overall, I doubt you will hate this place, it's a good option.

if I would've reviewed this place 10 months ago it would've gotten 5 stars but they've changed. I think they're just getting lazy but it's not the same anymore

I had an engagement party here and was very disappointed. The food was good, but the service was terrible! We had confirmed with Habib's multiple times before the big day, and when we arrived, to our surprise nothing was set up as we planned. They were completely lacking in communication and organization. We ordered flowers and dessert and Habib's placed them in the wrong party. They were rearranging tables as people were being seated, needless to say... it was very embarrassing... The waitstaff was terrible, we had one server for 50 people, and we had to mention several times for him to clear the dinner plates off the table. Management was well aware of this issue, and didn't feel the least obligated to compensate us in any way. I DON'T plan on ever visiting this lackluster restaurant again.

Went to the Ramadan Buffet, It was soo bad, service was bad, food was horrible, then to top it off they included the tip in the bill, there was only three people at our table. 65 bucks for fish and mulukhia, no other meats.

Wow, this is good stuff. Habib is/was the chef at the noted Bint Jebail Cultural Center in Dearborn, Michigan. If you have ever eaten there, you know his food speaks to his great reputation. Habib opened his own restaurant one week ago to much fanfare. The food is top notch, as expected. If you are looking for delicious Arabic food, this is your spot. Entrees are a bit pricier than other ethnic restaurants in town. However, the quality of the food makes it well worth it. Also, if you stop in for lunch, the best deal is a sandwich combo. I had a falafel sandwich with humus and tabouli and a lentil soup and fries all for $8. What a deal!
