This place is connected to a muffler shop, giving it all the ambiance you would expect. The restaurant is old and dingy ... badly in need of a cleaning, a fresh coat of paint, and some TLC. The food is typical low-grade diner fare; e.g. pancakes that taste like cake batter, toast made from value brand supermarket bread, and so-so coffee. Still, the meals are a value and the waitresses are nice in a down-home sorta way. The same can't be said for the bat at the hostess counter. What a bag!

Came here on a layover looking for breakfast. And the service was fast and on point. Good was tasty.

Disgusting in every way. The "fruit" on the pancake is old jelly. The "orange juice" is orange sugar water out of a machine. The atmosphere is rude at best and filthy at worst. Apparently they had mis charged my friend the last time he had been there and tried to add that charge to the bill this time...is that even legal? Just so gross...so gross.

We should've known this was gonna be a bust the second we pulled up. First of all, it's attached to a Transmission shop. Second, when we walked in, the "cashier lady" pointed at us and said, "You're number 3." OK, I'm accustomed to hearing greetings and hellos, but that'll do here I suppose. Instead of being "Number 3" we ventured over to a spot at the counter. The place mat in front of my counter seat was dirty with coffee stands so I pushed it forward a bit, so it could be replaced. Well, this proved to be an issue. The waitress that noticed us pushed the place mat back at me, and when I told her it was dirty she contested that she thought the last patron only had coffee. Right. That, my dear waitress, means it's dirty. Someone used it. Sigh. We ordered our breakfast with a different waitress-I ordered pancakes and bacon, and Dave ordered his usual-English muffin, eggs, toast and crispy home fries. For some reason, our meal took longer than usual for a breakfast joint, but we were so entertained by our surroundings, it didn't matter much. We observed the owner talking with some regulars about how busy this weekend had been due to the Annual Balloon Fest. He joked that he didn't even want to be open next year-"it's not about quantity, it's quality and peace of mind." Perhaps he should replace the ripped and stained shades on the doors. My pancakes were pretty good, but the home fries were a little under cooked. Dave's looked like mine, so probably not crispy. The waitress we finally had was nice and prices were reasonable.

We came here memorial day weekend hoping to pop in for a quick bite to eat in between our errands. Our elderly waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered at 11. Just 2 breakfast sandwiches and a salad. By 11:30 we still hadn't received our food and kindly asked if it would be ready soon. She went to check and agreed with us that the cooks were slow. By 11:45, people who came in after us were happily eating and we were still sipping on our waters. At this point we paid for our juice and left. The only thing the owner mustered out of his greasy face was "sorry 'bout that." it's too bad, this place has potential but the service was so terrible, and for what? Your basic greasy diner food? It's very clear the owner does not care about new business and we were really left wondering why he bothers. This review doesn't deserve the 1 star but what can ya do? The 1 star goes to the elderly waitress.

It was a snowy, blustery day so there wasn't much of a crowd for breakfast. We were seated right away, and the server was very friendly and nice. Our breakfast was good, standard eggs, potatoes and bacon. The coffee was refilled frequently and our server was very attentive. No complaints -- we would return if ever in the area again.
