nuzback's is GREAT. it is NOT full of white trash/trailer trash. it's a little, dive bar with a laid back, fun, cool atmosphere where everybody knows everybody, and if you're new to the place people will talk to you and get to know you. the food is AWESOME--best steamed shrimp i ever had in my life, and i love seafood. prices are great, especially during happy hour, and power hour (5-6 m-f i believe, when bottle beers are only $1). don't listen to the last guy--if you're looking for a regular bar to go to and you live near laurel, this is your place. my husband and i have been coming here for 3 years and have no complaints whatsoever.

This place is really a 3.5 but could be 5 stars if you are looking for a place to just get cheap drinks and bar food. Super laid back environment. Very unique groups of people for all ages, races and cultures. We started visiting during the spring/summer timeframe. Super friendly. Like I said very cheap drinks and bar food. We have a blast playing darts or corn hole outside. Although the smokers can takeover. We always have a group of 6-10 people and it never overwhelms the waitress doing separate checks. They used to only accept cash but they changed that a long time ago which made me super happy. Not many choices in Laurel but if you don't care about décor and looking to get tipsy check this place out.

Great little local Laurel bar with cheap food and drinks. We have eaten the wings, fries, and steamed shrimp all of which have been consistently pretty good for bar food. Service is always good as well. All in all this is a pretty comfy place.

Decent enough local hang-out, been here a few times. As long as you drink the Bud junk, beer prices are OK. Step up to a mixed drink and you get very little for your money; the smallest drink glasses I've seen anywhere, packed with ice, gets you a few sips for more than $8 a glass. Place is full of biker-posers and they seem pretty harmless. Most times, the different bartenders have been attentive and chatty- which is unusual for female bartenders. Good juke and sound system for bands; not too loud. I dinged them 2 stars on the sad size of the drinks and the disproportionate price. Biker theme limits the potential of this place, located in a prime spot; needs a renovation; but its a classic dive with outdoor seating; it doesn't smell bad like a lot of older "dives" so they take care of the place. Diverse crowd.

It you want a bar with a fun atmosphere and no pretentiousness, this is the place. Good prices beers and drinks (except no Guinness on tap :( ) and a very friendly staff kept this out of towner happy. Liz was not only attentive as our server but VERY adorable. Open until 3AM, this will be my late night spot if I ever pass through Laurel again!

**My rating is based solely off their Happy Hour** **As an update/correction to the reviewer, A.P., they now take credit cards (yay)** OVERALL LOOK: It's a little run down. The men's bathroom is atrocious!! Although they do have soap and water. The visual serves more of as a place for bike riders, but everyone there is really nice so definitely don't judge this book by it's cover. The outdoor seating area is pretty nice and they occasionally bring out Cornhole if that's your thing. SERVICE: I've always had great service here. We normally get the same waitress for HH and she's pretty damn awesome! She even remembers what drinks we normally order so that makes it even better. Although we've had other waitresses that have been equally as awesome. FOOD/DRINKS: I love the steamed shrimp and wings (50cents per shrimp or wing - - 12count minimum)! That's what I always order for HH and I haven't been disappointed yet. Sadly, I do miss the scallops that were on special...but I digress. The drinks are extraordinarily cheap and they get the job done! We utilize this place on Friday as a "Friends Coming Together" hangout after work. We always have a good time here and the service is great! I recommend their HH for the simple, nonjudgmental crowd who are in need of just a good hangout session with friends. If that's the case, you won't be disappointed.

Steamed shrimp and chicken wings are great. There is a happy hour special for both as well as drink specials. Cash only. Place is old and run down....but it is always interesting stopping in for a quick beer and snack. Also you can get liquor and beer to go. This is always a bonus.

A Hooter's waitress actually recommended this place to me, after I complained about how expensive the beer was at Hooters. This is a great place for Happy Hour, and for watching Redskins and Ravens football games; domestic bottles are $1, and imported bottles are $2 for all Redskins and Ravens games. The food is also good, especially their wings. The service is excellent. The bartenders/servers are very attentive and friendly. They usually converse with the patrons, creating a very jovial atmosphere. If you are looking for setting and ambiance, this is NOT the bar for you. This is your typical, friendly, neighborhood dive-bar. Generally speaking, the patrons look like guests from the Jerry Springer show, however, once you get to know them, they are some of the nicest, most descent, hard-working people you will ever meet. I am definitely a fan of this place.

The drinks are extremely cost-effective. I'm not a regular but went to this spot a few times a month with friends on the weekends. I like it. I prefer bars in DC but you will not find prices any where close to this any where else. If you are balling on a budget this is the spot for you LOL

Been going there for years. The scene isn't all that but the shrimp, wings, or momma nuzbacks queso is off the chart. If your looking for some good food and drink and keep the cost low nuzbacks is a good option. The regulars there may seem a little scetchy but I've never had a problem there.
