Excellent spot with relatively good parking. The interior is surprisingly open and light given the outside appearance. Here are the pluses: Service: We sat at the bar where service was terrific. A+ Drinks: They pour a generous scotch and a very sound glass of wine. A Food: Their Caesar salad is awesome. Two people can easily share one. Their pizza is as advertised. Perfectly cooked with generous toppings. A+ Atmosphere: Open, bright and welcoming. A Price: more than fair given the quality A

We came here on Fathers Day and it was very, very busy. We sat and got beers BEFORE being told that we could not order food bc the kitchen was too busy. After thirty minutes we were allowed to order. We ordered small pizzas but got two larges. At least they adjusted the check after I was forced to remind them a couple times that we ordered two smalls. Keeping our beers filled was a chore and we were sitting at the bar! The pizza was slightly undercooked which was also disappointing. I won't return because we have a favorite pizza place Maggie's which serves top notch specialty pizzas and specialty drinks too. And they have Groupons too.

My husband and I ordered the large Goodfellas pizza and I was not impressed. The pizza reminded me of a flatbread type of crust and I hate flatbreads/thin crusts. I wasn't a fan of the toppings either but my husband loved it. To be fair and honest, I live in MD and the area where I live is definitely a foodie area. I haven't been blown away with any of the food in Boston (or surrounding areas), so when I see reviews that state this is the best pizza in Boston, I almost want to say "come to Baltimore,MD to really experience GOOD PIZZA"!

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the pizza here, but the drinks and apps are 5 stars all the way! Highlights: Basil dipping sauce hint of horseradish Coal wings cooked to perfection with the skin roasted Lots of kalamata olives in the antipasto Tuna in the Antipasto (that was a first for me) Chris, our server, 5 stars! Came for Fathers Days and expected slow service bcz, DUH: It's FATHER'S DAY. However, we didn't expect to wait over an hour and a half for our pizza. I insisted we order apps bcz I knew they'd come quickly and hold us over until the pizza arrived, but the kitchen forgot one (which in their defense is kinda understandable bcz ya know: Father's day).Thank heavens for the Huckleberry Lemonade and Coal Fired Wings with Basil dipping sauce! It made the drive completely worth it. However, I doubt I'd ever return bcz the pizza just isn't worth it.

Meatballs and pizza are great. Why not combine the two add some ricotta and you've got the Michaelangelo. Simply delicious. Saturday at lunch not busy but don't let that deter you. Food is great and the servers are excellent.

It's unfair for me to compare Angelo's to Pepe's, so I'll try not to. Oh the temptation... I tried the margarita pizza here and I wasn't much of a fan of it. I generally think pizzas in the States have too much sauce, but in this case, there wasn't enough sauce (and cheese). The bottom crust was a little too thick and chewy for my liking. The Goodfella was a little better. The peppers were nicely roasted and the sausage was flavorful. There seemed to be more good cheese with this one too. The bottom crust was also an issue here but at least there were some nice toppings to cover that deficiency. Service was generally polite but a little overbearing. You don't have to check up on me every 2 minutes. I liked how Angelo's enhanced the decor that Remick's formerly had.

Five stars for Stella cidre on draft! I've reviewed Angelo's before and i'm still happy with the delicious pizza. I'm really happy to see Stella Cidre on the bar menu, hopefully others drink it and it stays on. Have yet to try the wings, they seem to be a popular favorite.

Definitely a great spot for pizza. The restaurant has a large open bar feel. It's a great space- I'm sure it gets packed on the weekends. I came here with some friends and my family- we ordered two pizzas (a margarita and the michaelangelo), a garlic bread appetizer and some drinks. I liked the margarita pizza more but will definitely try other speciality pizzas in the near future. It's always fun to try specialty pizzas. Service was great as well. They were happy to make a small side of steamed broccoli for the baby at the table which was accommodating of them. Will return.

Recently I came here and split the mushroom appetizer and the tree hugger pizza with a friend. I did not love the mushroom app. There was to much stuffing that didn't have any texture to it. It didn't taste bad it just wasn't worth eating. I did however really like the pizza I thought it was cooked well and flavorful and I will try this place again. The service was slooooow and we went on a Tuesday. They did apologize so maybe it was a off night.

Just wonderful all-around. We waited for about 15 minutes for a table and had a few beers at the very clean and well-stocked bar. The bartenders were all extremely attentive, polite, and accommodating. We asked to be seated at a high top in the bar area and were taken care of. Our waitress, Mia, was incredible. Friendly and took care of our every wish. The pizza was delicious. The ambiance is great. Good music. Clean and new, but still with the excellent character of a weathered building. 5 big stars!

First and foremost, I had no idea what to expect since the last two restaurants in that spot had gone under. I saw the sign a week or two before it opened and was thinking "well, it's no Tilted Kilt, but it looks better than an empty spot next to Nam The Tailor". So I waited for it to open. One Sunday, while the Patriots were playing later in the day, I went and phone-ordered myself a Buffalo Chicken pizza after hearing that it's delicious from friends on Facebook. I get the pizza, 10 minutes later (which is goddamn magic in the pizza place world) and it's incredibly delicious. Who would think to put gorgonzola on buffalo chicken pizza- not me!- but it's unreal! Pulled buffalo chicken too! Not that "we microwaved some Dino-nuggets and put Franks on it" kind of pizza. I ate 6 slices of it and all of it was perfect! I even left my friends a couple of slices since I was full. I went back a second time, this time on a more recent Monday night, and ordered a Hawaiian to go. It was about 9:48pm and I was surprised that they even picked up the phone! I order my pizza, they say 10 minutes (MAGIC!) and boom, it's there when I come to get it at 10:03pm, WHICH WAS EVEN MORE MAGIC THAT I DIDN'T GET SCREWED FOR SHOWING UP AFTER CLOSING! We've all dealt with other places that do that sort of thing, but not Angelo's! I get to my car, open the pizza box and delicious pineapple and ham steam just rises out of the box like delicious phoenix that screamed "eat me at this next red light". I waited until I got home, which was hard enough. If you couldn't tell by now, I love this place and want to go for the dining-in experience.

I want to thank Mike for contacting me and trying to make things right. Maybe we just got a bad night as my son was shocked we were not happy as he thinks Angelo's makes the best pizza. Thank you Mike and I wish Angelo's the best

We came here late on a Monday night so there was no wait and was seated promptly. As it was our first time here we took awhile deciding on our order. Our waitress was patient with us and came by a couple of times to see if we were ready to order. We did finally decide on grilled buffalo wings, Caesar salad, and the all meat pizza. The Caesar salad was a bit off. Their dressing was sweet which we thought was weird. We did enjoy the wings though. They were cooked nice and juicy and very spicy. Yum! The pizza was also very good. Please note that they use Bianco Italian sausages and I'm a very big fan of Bianco's. So needless to say hubby and I devoured the entire pizza. Sorry kiddies! No leftover pizza for you guys. The next time we come we plan to bring the kids to try the pizza. The restaurant offers different of seating options (booths, tables) and even a bar area with tv's so it's good for small groups like us. I suggest giving the place a try. We had a good experience but would like to come at a busier time to see if the food and service is the same.

The pizza came out wrong due to a screw up in the kitchen. We were then told that there would be a 1 hour wait for another pizza because the kitchen was backed up. Please learn how to deal with food allergies or double check before the pizza is made. The manager was nice but we were hungry and opted to leave.

I love the vegetable pizza here. The vegetable selection is ample and very good, as is the mozzarella. I am a Pepe's fan and although it is a different crust and I love Pepe's crust, I love this crust too. I would say that Angelo's is a little more bread like, but very flavorful, so in this case different is still very good. Coal fired oven pizzas usually have a bit of charring, which is part of the appeal to the people that like them The pizzas that I have gotten here seem to be watched more carefully and are cooked just right, where you occasionally get a Pepe's pizza that is a tad overcooked. It is also more reasonably priced than Pepe's. I prefer Antipasto to the Antipasto salad that they have, but it is still good. I would like it better if it had romaine instead of iceberg lettuce. I have often eaten with Italian friends as a boy and they always ate darker greens, which I learned to prefer. We have only gotten take out, and it is spot on as far as being ready at the promised time. If not for the lettuce I would have given them 5 stars. As it is I wish I could give them 4.5.

Hands down, my new favorite spot in Quincy. The food and atmosphere is just what Quincy needs! We started with the wings and the buffalo Gorgonzola sauce--oooh my god. I thought that would be the best thing we ate and then came the pizzas. I ordered the Mushroom and Brie and my boyfriend got the Michaelangelo. Service was great, we had to wait, but it was to be expected on a Friday night. We can't wait to go back!

Pros: great food, great wait staff Cons: hostesses need to take a hospitality class They had lost our request for a big table but when the manager figured it out, he paid for our yummy appetizers. Our server (little blond) was awesome. We had meatballs, wings and garlic bread. We ordered three pizzas, spinach feta, meat lovers and veggie-- all awesome. Premium drink prices were a little steep for Quincy but all the other prices were reasonable. Overall, great experience and would highly recommend.

Very good place. The atmosphere is a bit upscale but the prices are reasonable. With the overpopulation of pizza places and wanna be Italian spots, Angelo's stands out. I came in and the place was empty but it was about 4 so that's to be expected. I got the garlic bread as an app. While it was super tasty it wasn't very garlicky. The pizza really is this places bread and butter (pardon the pun). There are pizzas, there are really good pizzas, then there are superb pizzas. I don't know exactly where Angelo's stands but the pizza I had was in my top three that I've ever had in my life. I ordered the margarita and it was too good for words to describe. If you don't go to this place you're missing out. The server that I had was apparently training, so I cannot review that aspect and it did not factor into my rating.

We love Angelo's! It's our new favorite pizza place. We have been here several times now, the service is always excellent, very friendly and welcoming staff. The pizza is amazing, best we have had on the south shore. The Michelangelo is our favorite. Extensive draft beer menu and great wine. We had a small birthday party the last time we were in and they were very accommodating when we brought in our cake, serving It with candles and a song. Can't wait to go back!

Finally had the chance to try Angelo's after hearing lots of good things about it. It was kind of strange walking into "Finian's" and it not looking anything like Finian's. I like the openness of the dining room and the ability to see the coal fired ovens. We started with the wings that were good size and came out hot and crispy and tasted great. We will definitely be ordering them again. We also had a large Goodfella pizza that came out of the oven just as we finished the wings. Everything about the pizza was perfect especially the fact that they use Bianco sausage (best sausages ever), and to top it off our server did a great job. We will be back again in the near future.

The pizza here isn't bad, it just doesn't blow my mind... It's alright. The service was really good and the atmosphere was excellent. It's always cool to be able to watch them making the pizzas and stretching the dough. Pricing was a bit high.

Pretty disappointed in this place. I'm giving it two stars for the decor and the decor alone. The waitress was so slow. Took a while to get out drinks and then another 10 mins before she came back to see if we wanted appetizers. We ordered the stuffed pepper and it was pretty dreadful. The sauce had zero flavor. The rice was a wild rice and the meat was chicken. Zero flavor. The chicken wings were ok but the onions made no sense? Seriously...and the buffalo sauce or whatever it was had no flavor and was pretty watery. The pizza wasn't that great either. Alittle burnt and honestly the only thing that tasted good was the few little pieces of sausage we had. I definitely don't think I'll be going back.

We checked out Angelo's for the first time last night. Overall, I'm impressed. IMO, QC is severely lacking in good restaurant options. I love Alba and Fat Cat as much as the next person, but I like variety! Pros: The pizza was delicious (we had the Michelangelo) Stuffed peppers were also great Service was good-our server was friendly and appropriately attentive (not overbearing) Good decor/ambiance Cons: Slightly overpriced, in my opinion ($38 for 16" pizza, stuffed pepper app, 16oz draft beer and a soda). I have to admit, I didn't love the meatballs on the pizza, so i took them off. I'm looking forward to going again to try a different pizza.

Pizza and bar food is surprisingly hard to get right. The typical bar/restaurant will serve you food that's not bad, not great. You don't exactly remember the dish you ordered, but you don't recall disliking it. Angelo's knocks it out of the park. Their stuffed mushrooms were delicious. The Goodfella pizza was delicious. And their wings weren't fried -- they were cooked over charcoal and topped with grilled onions. Best part of all: the prices are pretty good!! (I think the Fat Cat is a tad overpriced for what it is.) Really glad that my boyfriend and I finally tried this place out. Will definitely come back again and try their drinks. They have a large bar area with big screens that looks like a nice place to hangout. Great new addition to Quincy!

Today was my first time at Angelo's and I have to say this might be some of the best pizza I've ever had!!! I am a pizza addict too! It's thin crust, just the way I like it. If you haven't been here you need to go.... Or order it. It has a really cute bar and seating area too! My new favorite pizza place!

Just came from Angelos.. The drinks were good, salad good.. The only complaint was lack of good customer service. My son doesn't like a lot of tomato sauce on his pizza so when his pizza came there was tomato sauce on the top of the pizza, when the waitress came over and asked if everything was okay I said he didn't like the tomato sauce on top and she said"yeah that's the way we do it" and walked away. A good waitress would of taken it back and had another one made. Well that didn't happen. .I had to cut around all the tomato spots and try to salvage an edible pizza for my son, which in turn caused me not to be able to eat my pizza. . My son has sensory issues and I try to order the things so he will be able to enjoy a night out too. . Very disappointed. Mike from Angelos contacted me and I thank him for that. . Will definitely try Angelos again

Came here for the first time with a friend. Didn't know what to expect but the pizza was great and the service was even greater. We had Heather for a waitress and she was very bubbly. Customer service is always a big part of the experience in my book. I will be back.

Visited the restaurant for the first time about a week ago, and was very impressed. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious. We didn't note any temperature issues that are referenced in other reviews, but we were seated a fair distance from the kitchen. We were there for pizza only, and it was very, very good. The sauce was particularly notable - it's rich and flavorful, not an afterthought like so many Boston-area pizzas. The crust was crisp, but with a nice chewiness too. This, I believe, is the supposed hallmark of the coal-fired oven - if so, it's very good. The pizza DOES cost a bit more than the local pickup/delivery joints - I think our three-topping large pizza was $20ish, several bucks more than area competitors, but the difference in quality certainly makes up for the price differential.

Coming from NY I always had the assumption that Boston didn't really have good pizzas. This place changed my opinion. Their pizzas are usually thin, Brooklyn style, done in a coal oven. I'm drooling as I'm typing this out. Amazing pizzas!!

My husband and I were excited for the opening of Angelo's because I'm from Connecticut (home of Pepes and lots of other coal fire ovens). It's about time the South Shore has a good pizza. We started with the meatball appetizer and I'm very picky about my meatballs but these were delicious. Then we shared the arugula salad which was nice and light and thought the pistachios on it was a good touch. Both the salad and meatballs came out in good time. We ordered the specialty pizza that has meatballs, ricotta and many other things on it and while, it took a while to get to us (We weren't upset because I worked in the restaurant business for a long time and know that sometimes things can take a little longer on opening night), it was very delicious and I would order it again. I really enjoyed how the pizza didn't have too much sauce and felt that the sauce and crust was very good. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is my husband and I thought that the beer list should be expanded to include non-traditional craft beers. Also it might be wise to have a specialty drink list. Needless to say, we will be going back very soon!

Great pizza place in Quincy! The coal fire pizza is great. We wished it was a little crispier, but it had great flavor and high quality toppings. The atmosphere was very cool. They have live music on Thursdays and Fridays. We didn't get a chance to listen, but we would definitely come check it out. The drinks were only okay, the Sidecar was very sweet and the Margarita tasted a lot like apple juice. Overall, though, a very good coal-fire pizza experience.

So I'm not a big 5 star person but wanted to share. Service was great, pizza ordered was amazingly fast and properly priced. Whenever I eat at a new pizza establishment I start with the basics. Today we went with the benchmark pizza, the Pepperoni. Went with a local buddy and together we agreed on this rating. The crust was light and flaky. The sauce or (gravy) for your locals was seasoned right. When starting with the basics they did it right. Now I won't be afraid to try other things. Well done Angelo's...

Just went here for the first time with my wife and son. We started with an appetizer of garlic bread and were presently surprised that this was served in the form of mini pizza slices, very tasty. Each of us choose a 10 Oz pizza, the crust was thin and the toppings plentiful. Everyone was happy with the taste. I will return and recommend to my friends.

I love pizza. Having spent a lot of time in the Manhattan area, I like to think I have higher expectations on what could be considered fantastic pizza. The atmosphere in Angelo's is casual, yet... polished. Wooden floors, high ceilings, a lounge-y bar area, everything very well decorated to add to the sophisticated yet family friendly ambiance. But, that isn't what brought me here, I wanted good pizza. Having a friend that is a Quincy native (and me having only lived in MA for several years), I asked for his recommendation for a great pizza spot that I could bring my wife and kids to. This place was his suggestion. The waitress, incredibly friendly and forgiving to my kids that wanted to talk to her, was helpful and knowledgable about the menu. We kept our dining simple, since we were informed that the menu items were relatively large in portion. We decided on some garlic bread for an appetizer and a chicken marsala pizza. The garlic bread? Excellent and delicious, although my taste craved lots more garlic. But what the bread lacked in garlic was made up with a perfectly charred crust in all the right places to give a delectable crunchy texture. Chicken marsala pizza? How gross does that sound?! Then you order it, take a gamble, and your chompers sink into it and all of a sudden, you are in a foodie nirvana. A blend of sweet, savory, poultry and bread, finished with a coal fired char. i've been to a lot of coal fired pizza places, and more often than not, I get an overcooked pie, or slightly undercooked, or even perfectly cooked but with a crust that didn't come out right. This was simply not the case here. Bottom line, I love this little spot, the food is superb, the service was accommodating and polished, and the prices reasonable.

I went in and ordered a pizza to go and had a drink while waiting. The atmosphere is nice, but I had to remind the bartender after about what seemed an hour that I was still waiting for my pizza. It seems he forgot. It finally came out burnt crust all around and on the bottom - we're talking black - and cold. I had to have a slice right then because I was starving. Better training on service and pie cooking are in order. I had a better pizza at Maggy's Lounge (Quincy) recently, but the service there is even worse and the atmosphere not as nice.

Loved it! Went in last evening and sat at the bar. The bartenders were friendly, informative and welcoming. We started with the garlic bread. The bread is their homemade, fresh focaccia....it was delish! I tried the meatball sandwich and the meatballs were the best I have had and the bread again was nice and fresh. Janet got a pizza, she let me try a bite and the sauce had a great flavor and the crust had a nice crisp to it. We plan on visiting again with more friends on Saturday. I recommend trying with a group so you can get several options to share.

Nicely decorated brick oven restaurant. Dark wood tables and a huge photo mural of the Roman Collaseum on the far wall. Thin crust pizza, delicious. No complaints for the food. Service was kind of slow, considering there were very few customers at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. I recommend and would definitely return for an evening out with friends and drinks.

Went there with my lovely and talented wife last Friday. I knew the place was new and we were excited to try a new pizza place. I will say that I used to LOVE School House Pizza, which is just around the corner, but lately they have some spuds making pizza and it is nowhere near as thin and delicious as it used to be. Anyway, we ordered the coal roasted chicken wings, a Tuscan chicken sandwich and a large chicken, mushroom and onion pizza. The wings were good, albeit messy. They had a real good flavor from the hot oven and they put caramelized onions on them that were very good. Dipping sauce was good. My only complaint is that I hate the mess caused by eating wings -- wish they would have a boneless variety. I am sure the flavor would still be great from being in the oven and of course marinated beforehand. The pizza arrived a good 20 minutes after we were done with the wings. I thought it was a very long wait. They were busy but not packed. My lovely bride pleaded with me to start eating the pizza (she cannot eat tomatoes so she was waiting for her sandwich). Anyway, the sandwich arrived 10 minutes after the pizza did. Huh? OK, the good thing about the pizza was that the ingredients were super fresh and excellent. The mushrooms had a buttery flavor and were very large slices. The onions were caramelized and just like the ones they put on the chicken wings, very good. The cheese had a great flavor and would snap almost like a rubber band when you pulled it. Again, great ingredients. My big complaint about the pie was that the bottom was soggy and the pizza itself was just a tad over warm -- certainly not hot. How can that happen when the oven is supposedly at a minimum of 900 degrees?! The dough was a little thicker than I like and the ends of the pie were definitely a little doughy. Seems to me that they should maybe lower the heat a bit, roll the dough out a little thinner and leave the pies in the oven a little longer. As I'm working on my second slice of pizza my wife's sandwich came out. It was OK but very messy. I took a bite and needed two napkins to clean up the mess on the table and my face. My wife liked the sandwich more than I did -- I thought it was pretty ordinary. Service was OK. Server was very nice but I have a feeling our food was not brought out as promptly as it should have been. Was it her fault or do they use runners? I have no idea. Place is nice inside. Got very loud while we were there. We were also sitting in the booth closest to the kitchen and it was VERY hot there. Not sure if the entire restaurant is that way but man, we were both sweating just sitting in the booth. Not sure if we would go back. I like a thinner crust pizza and I don't think Angelo's is up to the task. If you like a doughy kind of pie, this is probably a good place for you. As I mentioned, the ingredients were all excellent.

Had the goodfellas pizza and the white chicken Alfredo pizza both awesome. Had a red sangria which was also really good. Then we got the desert that had apple pie bits on top of pizza dough and vanilla ice cream? It was pretty awesome although the dough was difficult to cut through

I heard about Angelo's on Phantom Gourmet (of all things!) which is odd cuz it's not too far from me. When I heard there was (FINALLY) coal-fired pizza in Quincy, I was completely over!joyed! It's impossible to find anything even close to decent pizza in Quincy. Has anyone noticed how there is an overabundance of lousy pizza joints? Well SchoolHouse pizza was slightly better than the rest- but still- meh. So off I go to Google to find this unbelievable, still a fantasy in my head coal fired pizza place. I find them and call quickly before the dream fades away... I get an answer, oh boy! I order the carmelized onion & portobello shroom 'create your own' type pie. I rush down there to pick it up and the aroma that was eminating from the cardboard box in the vehicle was very promising. By the time I got it home and opened that heavenly box, my S.O. comes wandering out of the other room as the scent wafted by him. We both took a slice & put it quickly into the oven as we are sticklers for crispy crusts. After the worlds longest 3 minutes, we pulled those suckers out and as I took my first bite I knew I'd found what I was looking for. The sauce was right on the mark, quite garlic-ey but not overpowering, just the right amount of tart tomato bite. The dough that the sauce sits on is sheer wonderful-ness. It's burned in places (yay) and slightly crispy in other places and still dough-ey in many less places, which is the right amount of everything. The toppings were the tops! What can I say- the carmelized onions were sweet and tangy just the way a great carmelized onion should be. The 'shrooms were large and meaty! We usually save our crusts because we like to get out the honey and pour a bit over the crust and gnaw on that. We did not get to the honey with Angelo's pizza- reason being is that the crusts are SO good that there wasn't anything left :-) The whole thing was fantastic and might just be the best pizza I've had in a long while. It easily sweeps best in Quincy category, possibly best in South Shore (but that may need more research). Went back to Angelo's a 2nd time and this time got pepper & (raw) onion (create your own) and this one was even a tad better than the first one. Now I want to actually stop in and have a drink next time instead of just getting a box to go. The ONLY thing I can think of as a "con" would be the price. $20 for a pizza is a little steep (eighteen & change to be exact). However- with that being said- this pizza is THAT good!

My first visit last night truly made me wish I had a bigger appetite. A great variety on the menu for both food and beverage. This place is welcoming as soon as you arrive. The aroma wafting from the doors is enough to grab any passerby's attention. As you enter, there is a bar to the left and a dining area to the right. We chose to sit in the bar area this Sunday evening. The bar itself is stocked well with high quality beverages and a few taps. The look of Angelo's is airy and light and I felt quite at ease the moment we entered. Our waitress Donna was attentive without being intrusive. We chose the chicken and cheese stuffed peppers to start. They peppers were cooked to perfection with just enough blackened skin to enhance the flavor. The filling was a mix of chopped chicken, onions and cheese and served with a light tomato puree. Easily a meal for one but we split it between the two of us so that we could sample the real reason we came, PIZZA. We ordered a 16 inch Grilled pepper, carmelized onion, portobello mushroom and buffalo mozzerella pie. The pizza was thin and crisp with perfect bubbles just singed enough for color. It was as near to perfect a pizza as one can get. I will return and brink a bigger appetite!

Finally, a place to go get a drink and some pizza that isn't barroom pizza. Went in on a Sunday afternoon and there wasn't any wait. I didn't sit at the bar, but it was a really nice looking, big bar, with a ton of options, I just wish they had a beer list available at the table. Got the chicken wings as an appetizer with the honey dijon basil sauce. OMG. These chicken wings were awesome, they cooked them with some vadalia onions and the sauce was great. We ordered a meatball pizza which was phenomenal. The meatballs were amazing, I can't wait to try them on their own next time. The pizza itself was good! The sauce was tasty, I just wish there was a little more cheese on the pizza, but I love cheese. Heather was our waitress and she was super awesome, of course! :) I could picture going there with a group of friends maybe on a Friday after work getting some pizzas and beers, for sure.

Good place, feels very homie. Typical Quincy atmosphere. The wings where very good, a little too over price. Good beer selection and pizza in my taste was great. Not too saucy, not too cheesy and not too doughy... Just the way I like it. Think of this place as a homie place to hang with friends and get pizza and beer. A pizzeria with charm

Nice place. Great atmosphere. The pizza is really good, crispy and thin crust. Appetizers outstanding. Huge desserts - try the apple dessert! The service was excellent. Well done!

Arugula salad was delish! Followed by mushroom and Brie pizza that was pretty great! Waitress ran a martini like nobody's business... Yea I'll go back

My boyfriend called last minute to see if he could get a table for about 15 people and the manager/staff were super accommodating! We all had a great time and the pizza is outrageously good!!!

If I could give 4.5 stars I would. It is the best salad (arugula) and pizza (michaelangelo and chicken Marsala) combination I have had in a long time or ever. The salad is so tasty with the sliced portobello mushrooms, pine nuts, fresh parmesan cheese and truffle oil. Both pizzas were really good, they maybe could have used a little more meat on both, but we've been chasing the same crust and pizza as Frank Pepe's and this is really close. There are plenty of TV's on the exposed brick wall behind the bar and the space is ample. I definitely recommend Angelo's Coal Fire Pizza

Nice atmosphere, liked how spacious the place was and the bar area looked very neat and clean. The oven area was cool. On the otherhand I was somewhat disappointed by the food. Pizza didn't have much taste, was it supposed to be whole wheat and low sodium? I expected so much more of the the wings. They were just plain and i didn't love the dipping sauce and for bar wings they were quite expensive. I would go again to have a drink but not eat.

Love this place. Pizza is great, I don't feel terrible bringing my kids and the bar is quite posh. Can't wait to spend more time here and feel blessed they are right in the neighborhood.

Angelo's is doing something unique, a new way of cooking pizza that's different from the traditional new york pies around here. You can trip off the sidewalk in the Boston area and find a place doing NY pies. They have wings that come with caramelized onions. A full bar with tons of TVs and space Great signature cocktails Tons of room in both the dining room and bar areas. Stuffed peppers, try finding that at a traditional dough-slinging shop. Gluten free pizzas I recommend giving them a try, it's really a good time, and a nice place to hit without leaving Quincy.

I'm loving this place! The vibe is great, a much needed choice for Quincy Center. Alba's is awesome but sometimes you crave something a little more down home but still upbeat and bright, this is it. All the food I've tried was first rate. I've had the wings which are great, a few kinds of pizza, portobello stuffed mushrooms, and arugula salad. All of it was delicious! They also have a sweet bar which is where I'll be. ;)

Went here last night for dinner. The pizza was excellent I love thin crust and well done. The dough for the pizza was very good and so was the sauce. The meatball app was great wish they gave you 4 meatballs instead of three. The meatballs also could have be a little hotter. All and all a great experience I will be back.

Three former work associates and I met at Angelo's Pizza early on a Friday evening to grab some drinks, a pizza and do a lot of catching up. As there was hardly anyone there, we expected good service at the least. First of all, I have to say our waitress, Donna, was EXCEPTIONAL! Always available but never intrusive and certainly aware that 4 gabby women were at her table. We ordered the wood fired chicken wings to start and on Donna's advice, ordered all 3 dipping sauces for an additional $1.00. AMAZING! Juicy, flavorful wings topped with sweet caramelized Vidalia onions and all of the sauces were delicious. After another round (or 2) of drinks, we finally settled on the large Michaelangelo pizza, that contained the traditional buffalo mozz, ricotta cheese, sliced meatballs and fresh basil. It was very good but could have been outstanding if it had arrived hot. Although a bit on the pricy side, ($18.50 for the above mentioned pizza) you can tell they use quality ingredients for their pizza as the crust & sauce was the best I've had since I was in Sorrento last year. That's the use of 00 flour and San Marzano tomatoes, true quality! I can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu selections. BTW, by the time we finally relinquished our high top (leaving Donna a very generous tip for putting up with us), the place was packed with a wait. Good for Angelos!

The hype around the opening was fairly big so we went to try it out. We had been to the previous restaurant at this location which was largely disappointing mostly due to the service and atmosphere (seemed to have 2 identities, a modern feel on the right and a bar/grill feel on the left; I prefer the left). Angelos has mostly fixed that however the lighting was a bit too bright for a 7:30 dinner atmosphere. The service was very nice and friendly but slower than I had anticipated hearing that you can cook a pizza in 3 minutes in their coal fired ovens. We got the meatball app which was awesome! (not sure what a previous reviewer got but ours was perfect). We ordered the Pizza Margherita next but got a plain cheese served to us which the waitress immediately fixed (even though we had already had 2 slices..bonus!). The pizza was good but not great; it was more doughy than I had expected and much less crisp than I prefer. All in all I would recommend this place and do plan to go back, especially since it was only the second night of its opening and one should expect a certain amount of bumps in the opening days (much like the NE Patriots???).

I had my first taste of Angelo's pizza and I have to say that it was beyond delicious! I've never traveled to Italy but it def is what I imagined a pizza from Italy would taste like. Props to the cooks for going above and beyond with their food! Our server Danielle really put a lot of energy and care into making sure all our needs were met with smiles and attentiveness. All and all you guys really are amazing and I would and will recommend Angelo's coal fired pizza to all of my friends and family, keep up the great team work and thank you for a memorable time! Can't wait to come back again!

I am so glad this restaurant opened up near me! I have desperately been searching for great eat-in pizza and this palace certainly hit the spot! When I went it was packed because it had just opened and the game was on. The service was still excellent, the wait-staff was on point and the food was delivered piping hot and in a timely manner. You can actually look in and see the pizza being made in the coal fired oven which is pretty cool. The whole place is nice and the food was incredible. I can be very picky about pizza and the y really put the time into it. The sauce is great which makes it. The pie itself is a mix between the gooey deliciousness I grew up seeing the ninja turtles eat and the refined ingredients of the upper crust. Everything tasted really fresh and there were plenty of other menu options. My friend had antipasto salad which she liked as well. I will definitely be back!

I am a bit of pizza snob and I am always in search of a great slice. The ambiance and waitstaff were excellent but the pizza was just okay. Certainly I would go back for a glass of wine at the bar but not for pizza. You can get a better and worse pizza here in quincy.

Checked out Angelo's over the weekend with two friends. We all live in the QC, so we were hopeful that we were onto a new neighborhood local. 15 minute wait for a table, not bad. Headed to the bar. Large selection of draft beer, but no beer/wine/drink list available. Lucky I know my tap handles! Bartender was nice, but seemed very unsure of himself, gave one of our group a different wine then what was requested. He quickly corrected the error. Hostess found us about 10 minutes later to let us know our table was ready. We followed her back to the front. Stood around for a few minutes (no explanation), then she brought us to a table right next to where we were originally standing in the bar area. Could have saved time here with an -oh this is your table right here, I will bring over menus. I should have prefaced that Angelo's just opened the week before and I have spent my entire working career in the hospitality industry. Also, I grew up in the Metropolitan NYC area so yes, I am a pizza snob. Great menu. Not overloaded with 100 different selections. Appetizers, Salads, Pizzas were well defined. Server stopped by for a drink order. She was friendly enough, but all areas of service were very slow throughout the meal. Training? Kitchen issues? Etc? All of the preceding? I think maybe a combination of a few factors. After waiting about 10 minutes for our drinks, we ordered. We decided on the meatball appetizer, arugula salad and I think it was called the Tree Hugger's pizza. Server asked me if there was another salad we might like as she thought they may be out of the arugula. I ordered Caesar as a backup. Meatballs arrived very quickly, delivered by food runner. Apparently too quickly as we did not have utensils, napkins or plates. Caesar salad arrived a minute or two later. Guess they were out of the arugula? Still no utensils? We finally get our tools so we can start eating. Server stops by to see if we need more drinks (we do). We ask for another piece of focaccia for the meatballs (3 meatballs served with 2 pieces of bread?). We are told the kitchen is too busy to accommodate our request. Wow, a restaurant that just opened and already they are telling their customers no to a simple request? Meatballs were good, not the greatest. Caesar salad was very good. Simple, fresh, not overly dressed. Long wait for the pizza. Server checked to see if we needed drinks (yes), but no explanation for the delay. Random clearing of empty glasses, plates, etc. My empty glass removed, but other empty glasses left on the table. That lack of attention makes me crazy. Pizza finally arrives. Looks very tasty! Ingredients as described on menu. Taking the pizza off the serving pan proves to be a little difficult. The crust cannot hold the weight of the toppings. A couple of bites and I realize the pizza is not hot and the crust that I expected to be coal fired crispy is very soggy. My guess is that pizza sat in the kitchen window for a while before it made it to our table. Very disappointing. I really wanted to like/love this place, but it seems my quest for good pizza in Quincy will continue along.......

Opening night arrived at 5:30 pm. Ordered meatball appetizer and pepper and onion pizza immediately after waitress brought us our drinks. 45 minutes for appetizer which I did not like. Another 45 minutes for pizza which was okay. I like Bertucci's much more. Pizzeria Regina has superior pizza also. Will not return.

As for pizza, I really like the crust and consistency. The flavor was great and I like that they tend to like to use the buffalo milk mozzarella on their signature pies. Very hard to find around here. Unfortunately, it seems like they got about as far as figuring out the ovens and the pizza and stopped there. The decor is nice, minimalist, like the booths. It seemed like they were still getting setup on the Monday after their opening weekend. I'll hold judgment until I see it after a month open. The food menu IS small and I don't understand not having a wine/beer/drink menu. That's just terrible business-wise. How do you sell beer or a bottle of wine? Remicks before had the same issue. I see a full bar with thirty beer taps and racks of wine and I have to listen to some kid rattle off selections - and then memorize them all in ten seconds while choosing like I'm Jason Bourne or something. Ridiculous, print a damn menu. Also, the front of the room staff and greeters seemed distracted and very casual for just having opened. Took about 15 minutes for our pizza to come out, which is not terrible...but the place was empty - it was 3pm on a Monday. When it gets busy I could see them struggling to keep up. I'm hopeful this place makes it because pizza in Quincy is so lacking, but I'm skeptical because they don't seem ready to go. I'm going to reserve judgement for now, and with a few corrections this can be a 4 or 5. These guys know they're open, right?

I work nearby so we have been hoping a good restaurant went into the former Remerick's space. Have tried it twice after work, around 5-5:30. Hostesses and wait staff were all pleasant. Nice atmosphere and a great bar with tvs. Food was better the second time. On both occasions we ordered two pizzas: treehugger and the goodfella. First time the toppings were just ok. Didn't seem like a lot given what you are paying. The second time the toppings were perfect--plenty of cheese, meat, veggies. Maybe it was a different cook the second time we were there. Hopefully they will work out their consistency. Cooked well with great flavor. Good beer menu--please keep other IPA options! While Harpoon is Boston it is not a great beer. I hope they look into Worcester's Wormtown beer. Local and awesome! Overall good so long as they maintain consistency. Expensive so they have to maintain quality.

I've been to Angelo's several times now and I love it. It's a great casual date night spot and the perfect place to meet your girlfriends for some wine and delicious pizza! I love the atmosphere. The place looks nothing like Remicks, and for those that remember Finian's you won't believe how different it looks! One of my favorite things about the place is the music they play. I found myself several times on different occasions stopping and saying I love this song. But it's not obnoxiously loud or anything like that, just nice background music. There is parking too believe to or not. Behind the building, on the side streets and you can park in the lot by the courthouse (it's only a 2 minute walk) and if the Good Health store is closed you can park over there. I highly recommend it. I love it there and hope it does well. It's a good addition to quincy square. Side note- they don't do shots and close at the kitchen at 11, I think. Which I like..they don't want a bunch of drunks in there. It's a family friendly environment.

Everything about this place clicked with me. The setup is absolutely phenomenal, nice big bar and bar area. The place feels very open but not at the expense of intimacy. The drink options are numerous and the selection is choice. The food: I had some wings as an appetizer, garlic and olive oil on them, I was skeptical at first but all it took was one taste, that will definitely be a regular order of mine. The pizza really is exceptional. I always order my pizza's "well done" when I can to achieve what is apparently the default at this place. The crust is perfectly cripsy and the cheese heated to perfection. I cannot wait to have an occasion to be in the Quincy area again.

This place is 5 stars all the way. It's so great to have an excellent restaurant and bar right in Quincy since there aren't many to begin with. This place is great for a date (not too loud), dinner with a large group or even family (yes, even well behaved kids), or drinks with friends (very attractive bar set up). Actually there were plenty of plasma TVs at the bar so you could even go to watch a game (I heard they make exceptions when the Patriots play and turn the volume on for Pats games only- cool). Or take home pizza. Ok so the food: Everything is cooked in the coal fired oven which gives an awesome taste to everything. We got the MichaelAngelo pizza which was meatballs, buff mozzarella and ricotta and it was totally awesome. You no longer have to go all the way in to Boston to get awesome pizza anymore. Thin crust which was cooked to perfection. Not too doughy- just right. We also got the wings which I've never had in a coal fired oven before. I actually don't normally eat chicken wings but these were so good I will get them every time I go. They were like a min-roasted rotisserie chicken. No heavy breading- the coal oven brings out the natural flavor that's complimented by just a touch of lemon and rosemary. We tried the buffalo gorgonzola dipping sauce as well as the interesting balsamic strawberry dipping sauce which was really good- like an upscale sweet and sour sauce (lol) but seriously- so good. Also got a bottle of the Justin Cab- excellent. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival by Mike the Manager. Our waitress, Heather, was super friendly and prompt with all our requests. I have a work meeting next week and I will be having it there now!! Go to Angelo's!

For those of you with knowledge of Saugus, MA this restaurant isn't associated with the AngelA's Coal Fired Pizza that opened in 2007. This is AngelO's Coal Fired Pizza which opened in 2014. It is understandable one might get the restaurants confused as their names are quite similar...and it's unlikely a coincidence. One might complain that AngelO's ripped off AngelA's, and that might even be the case. However, AngelA's Coal Fired Pizza clearly ripped off ANTHONY'S Coal Fired Pizza, a chain of restaurants founded in 2002 with locations in FL, NY, NJ , PA and DE. All three restaurant's business models are almost identical with slight variations. AngelA's and Anthony's signature dishes are their delicious arugula pizza and their equally delicious coal fired wings smothered in caramelized vidalia onions with flatbread on the side. AngelO's has the coal fired wings with caramelized vidalia onions, however rather than flatbread they offer various dipping sauces. The wings at AngelO's aren't bad, however they don't hold a candle to the wings at Angela's or Anthony's. The wings fall off the bone at the other two restaurants and are absolutely delicious, AngelO's wings are clearly frozen and are purchased from either Sysco or U.S. Foods. I imagine AngelAs and Anthony's use frozen wings as well, however theirs are much better for some reason. AngelO's doesn't offer arugula pizza, which in my opinion is a mistake...if you're going to use someone's business model, go all the way. With all the above being said, the place is the best pizza in Quincy and we'll definitely go back. The bar at AngelO's blows the doors off the bars at the other two restaurants. AngelA's can't serve hard liquor. I'd imagine AngelA's liquor license problems might have something to do with their owner, Eric Sideri, going to prison for kidnapping and nearly beating his restaurant manager to death (don't take my word for it, google his name). In the end, good pizza is good pizza and, as customers, no one cares if it's not an original idea. Word on the street is Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is putting a location in Westwood, MA but that shouldn't affect AngelO's. This place has a ton of potential, a few minor tweaks could make this place go from good to great.

Stopped in a couple weeks back on a Saturday night. Our family of 4 was able to get a table without much wait. Waitress was friendly. Full disclosure I waited a couple of months after reading the bad reviews about service and other procedural issues before giving this place a try. Orders were taken OK. Server did not have much knowledge about the beers available when I asked what style they were (there were 1 or 2 I was not familiar with by name). Appetizers came out in timely manner. However, Timing was a bit of an issue. Pizzas came out almost directly after and we had barely taken a bite of our apps. Just a heads up on the garlic bread its basically a pizza with cheese and garlic topping. Not bread per se. The wings were very good. Nice flavor from being cooked in the oven. Pizza was good overall, however not amazing. I think we had the good fella. I would try some other varieties to see how they turn out on our next visit. Our only other comment is that the pizzas are perhaps slightly overpriced. If I remember a large specialty was ~$18. Thats up there on the pizza scale. Overall I think the food was good but timing on service could use some work. Will try again.

This is my second time trying out Angelos. The first time was not the best, so since I'm also in the restaurant business, I wanted to give it another try. When we first sat down, the table area was quite cool. I put my hand up to see if there was a vent, but there was not. We sat there for a good ten minutes before somebody finally noticed us. Our waitress Donna came over to greet us, but did not say anything about us waiting for so long. Personally, a nice "I'm sorry that you were waiting so long for someone to greet you," would have seemed like a nice gesture. But, she didn't! She took our order since we had sometime to think it over. We started with the Caesar salad and then ordered half mushroom half cheese pizza. The Caesar salad is always good here. After we finished our salad, the pizza came out and looked very good; nice crispy crust, fresh, and ready to eat, I did touch the crust to make sure it was hot this time, but it was only warm. I grabbed a slice of mushroom and my first bite was delicious, but still not hot. I'm thinking to myself isn't this in a 2000 degree temperature coal oven? Hmmmmm! Shouldn't this be hot when it hits the table and stay hot. Either my server is talking to another customer when the pizza's ready or it just doesn't stay hot. I then had a cheese slice, and it was far from anything but just cold. And, something with the sauce just does not taste right. I think it tastes better with toppings, so you can't taste th sauce. It may taste better if they spend a little more money on the more expensive tomatoes. I know this place just opened, but honestly, pizza is not that hard to cook or learn. I hope they can fix the little things to make it right or this place won't survive either.

Went to Angelo's a couple of weeks ago. There were 4 ppl behind the hostess stand no one welcome us. After about 4 minutes they finally stopped there convo to see what we wanted. Anyways why eat here when the staff is not welcoming. Also I hope this isnt gourmet since it is lacking in toppings no prosciutto or goat cheese!

i went there with 3 of my friends to try out this new coal fired pizza, that everybody's talking about. When we entered Angelo's we were greeted by a hostess, who was very pleasant, and seated us promptly. our waitress Lauren, was very polite, handed us menus, and took our drink order. While waiting for our appetizers, we were observing the pleasant setup of the restaurant. I ordered the Big Dog, for an appetizer, but It was more like a meal. My other friends ordered, the wings, which were excellent, followed up with Arugula salad, which we shared. Everything was very good. For dinner we all shared a large Make It Your Way pizza. We had mozzarella, with roasted peppers, and caramelized onions. Definitely the best pizza I've ever had! I personally do not like the crust on pizza' but the crust on this pizza was exceptional. Quincy really needed a place like this! I'll definitely be coming back!

My husband and tried this restaurant for the first time on a Thursday night with our two kids. The service was slow in the beginning. I know it's not a kids restaurant but it would be nice to have crayons and coloring for the kids. We waited about 7 minutes before the server came over for a drink order. The menu did not include a drink menu which was disappointing. The tables also seemed slightly cheap. The booths didn't attach to the wall so they kept moving around. Our waitress was very nice, and the kids pizza and our wing appetizer came out promptly. Surprisingly the food was not very hot. They also charge an extra 50 cents if you want to try more than one sauce for the wings. Cheese pizza, and the michaelamgo pizza were overall good. It was comparable to berth is pizza rather than bar pizza. Both had a little more than sauce than I prefer. We ordered the kids gelato which did take much more time than expected. Again, our waitress was very kind and seemed to do what she could do. The place is new and probably needs to work itself out. I will return,

Really good pizza and a clean fun environment! The garlic bread and meatball app. are both excellent and every time I've gone the pizza has been cooked perfectly and they are HUGE pizzas. Service is hit or miss and on a Friday night you should be prepared to wait even for a bar seat. Parking is okay during the day but it can be tough to find a spot on a weekend night, usually there is a space along a side street or in the lot around back. All in all one of our favorite pizza spots on the South Shore!

My husband and I came here a couple of weeks ago. We loved the place. The place was full and we had to wait for 20 mins to get a table but it was totally worth it. The live music, the ambiance is great and the best part is the food. We ordered a large Buffalo chicken pizza and was delicious. The portion is good for 2 people to share. Planning to go there again soon.

Came here for dinner last night and i'm now a fan! The ingredients used on the pizzas were fresh, balanced, and complementary. The crust was pretty awesome as well with it being on the thinner crispier side, just the way i like it! The only thing is that i wished the pizzas had a little more toppings, but other than that, the pizzas were still awesome. I highly recommend the Goodfella pizza. In addition, parking was easy and our server was spot on and attentive. I will be back!!

Was most curious to try coal-fired pizza, having read about it cooking at 900 degrees and all. BUFF CHICKEN PIZZA: 3.25 STARS Not bad. Perhaps more chicken would be nice. MICHELANGELO PIZZA ( Meatball ) 3 STARS Just OK. ( A couple of reviews posted after mine mention how good they are, which is baffling to me, as they were very plain). ( ADD COMMENT 18 OCT 2014: I should have put this in the original review, but I could put on a blindfold and choose a slice anywhere on the Boardwalk at Seaside Heights NJ, and it would have been better than this. ) DECOR / AMBIENCE: 4 STARS Nice looking. We never went to Remick's, the establishment that just preceded this one in this location, but we did go to Finian's before that. It is much more open and less stuffy now. The large bar looked like a nice place to grab a drink although we were not doing that this particular evening. I was expecting it to be better, but it was by no means bad. By way of comparison, in terms of higher end pizza, I like Crazy Doughs. The Crazy Doughs in North Station certainly is not a sit down joint, and they do not have a coal-fired oven, but their "fancier than average" pizza is better than this was. I like the pizza better at our local joint ( Spukies ) as well, and they do have several tables and it is cheaper. So "A-Ok" it is EDIT / ADD: I shill for no other place, would have been delighted if this was a go to place. Quincy needs people from Abington to come here. I have noticed a huge number of suspicious Yelps regarding this place, accounts that were dormant for very long time before being miraculously moved to comment on the tasteless meatballs of this place. I hate fake Yelpers AND Establishments that spoof Yelp. Maybe put out consistently excellent pizza and service and garner the scores for real. ADD FEB 2015: Angelo's certainly knows how to bob and weave past the filter. The dude who joined in April 2014, but only banged out several reviews all in January 2015, just to shazaam in his five star for Angelos, is impressive work.

Moved to Quincy Center in October and walked by this place no less than 100 times. I was constantly writing it off because it looked fancy. Cloth napkins at a pizza joint?? Finally made the leap and glad I did. Pizza was great, prices were realistic and beer selection was fantastic. Highly recommend. Oh yeah, our waitress Heather was great as well.

Best pizza in Boston. My boyfriend and I went to school in New Haven and can actually compare it to Frank Pepe's. The Michealangelo is a meatball pizza that is out of this world and the buffalo chicken has this amazing cream sauce drizzle. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great bar to watch the game. Thankful I found my pizza place in Quincy.

Full Disclosure: After I wrote my original review, the owner of Angelo's reached out to me and offered me a gift card in order to try the pizza again. I gladly accepted and Jason L and I ordered take out from Angelo's on January 12. Below is the reasoning behind my update, and some musings on how Angelo's can achieve 5 stars. We ordered: Large "Create Your Own Pizza". We chose to have a regular pizza with sausage and pepperoni and It cost us $23. Pizza was delicious, but we couldn't help feeling a little screwed on the price. A large "Meat Lovers" pizza which consists of both of our toppings plus meatball and bacon is two dollars cheaper. Two dollars isn't a huge deal, but perhaps charging us the Meat Lover's price might have been a little fairer. Regardless, the ingredients were fresh, seemingly homemade and delicious. The crust was perfectly cooked, with deliciously charred dough bubbles throughout. Small Margarita Pizza, $10.25. Small but mighty delicious. Small really means, "individual size" so if you are sharing it, spilt and app too. Suggestions: Develop an ordering practice where the employee lets the caller how much each item will be, or at the end of the phone call, to inform him or her about the final cost. Cesar Salad, $8.25. The dressing was spectacular, and perhaps the best Cesar dressing I've ever tasted. The actual ingredients, however, were bestowed sparingly. Suggestions: Regardless of how delicious the dressing was, I thought the final product should cost $1-2 cheaper. Also $5 to add protein, is a little steep. Perhaps reducing that price by the same ratio, would be appropriate. Other things: They got rid of the annoying practice of calling you back in order to confirm that you are indeed coming in to pick up order... YAY! Staff on phone and front desk were both very nice. Food was ready for pickup when I came in. Space is really nice. On the night in question, they were appropriately playing the Ohio State - Oregon college football championship. Looks like a great place to see a game. Final Comment: Best pizza in Quincy. The Margarita and Create Your Own were on par with celebrated wood grilled pizzerias, such as Posto and Stoked. I'm going to keep ordering pizza from Angelo's, I'll just make my own salad.
