Great quality fast food. Had the Lobster Rolls, fries and onion rings. Far better than the Lobster Shanty which was closer to our rental home. Fries and onion rings were some of the best I have ever had. Must be the oil they cook them in which is, I believe soybean oil. After seeing the fish and chips I wish I had time for a follow up visit. Have to wait until next year.

We were on the Cape for a week and I wanted a good piece of batter dipped fish before we went home. I wanted a place where I could take it to go that wasn't too far from where we were staying. My Yelp search brought me to Sir Cricket's. The shop is small with about 5 tables, one table outside, and it is air conditioned which is a plus. Cashier was nice. There were customers in and out but not too busy. I ordered the Regular size Fish and a small coleslaw to go. They let you fill your own condiments, which I like. The wait wasn't too long. So it was a nice size piece of fish, cooked nicely, golden, not greasy. Fish was moist and flaky. But I think they forgot one important thing, salt and pepper. The fish and batter didn't have much taste. I was really disappointed. I didn't think it would be this hard to get a decent piece of fish on the Cape. Their coleslaw was dry and tasteless as well, skip the coleslaw. If I return, I'd try the lobster roll next time, but skip the fish n chips. My search continues.

We got 3 lobster rolls, a scallop roll and the fish and chips. We took the food to go. Prices were reasonable and the wait was short. We broke open the bags less than ten minutes later. Lobster rolls were definitely the best option. Scallops were fresh but deep fried and the roll was greasy and soggy. Fries were already on the cold side and the slaw was weak - no flavor and wilted. Not worth the extra two bucks. Fish from the fish and chips combo was on the small side and subpar batter. Overall a good quick, relatively well priced option. Skip the slaw and fried foods are less appealing than the lobster roll, especially if you don't eat right out of the fryer.

Pretty simple place, small, limited seating with 5 tables inside and a picnic table outside. Pretty simple review: Lobster roll delicious, add fries & cole slaw for + $2.00. Drinks served from a vending machine, so expect to pay even more. Menu had a nice selection of fried seafood, but we stopped for the Lobster roll, and we enjoyed it. Bye.

No frills, and good food. Most convenient place for fried seafood in Orleans. Fair prices. This place is also connected to nauset fish and lobster, so it's tough to find fresher seafood. Only downside is there's not much parking.

Delicious lobster roll. Packed with lobster meat. The sweet potato fries were great. Fried shrimp also tasty, their fry batter is yummy. The space is small and crowded at peak hours but worth the wait.

Really liked this spot, it hit the spot for what I was looking for which was a seafood shack for lunch. They own the fish market next door so you know the food is fresh! I got the lobster roll which I liked though I wish it was less mayo-based. My friends both got the fish and chips which was served with a huge piece of fish and lots of fries. We sat at the picnic table outside and shared it with a fun group of girls from MA. Overall a great pit-stop on the way to the beach!

Lobster Roll: Toasted bun with a solid amount of lobster meat and some mayo. Not too much, but seeing as I'd prefer none... but it's cape cod, what are you going to do. Fried Clams: Get the whole ones, they're a tad expensive, but very good, fresh and certainly not over cooked. The restaurant has a fast paced order counter and limited seating (most people were getting to go). We had bikes, so we found the one picnic table outside. The staff was friendly, the food came quicker than the place next door (we had orders at both). At 31 bucks for the combined order, it was on the steep side, but money well spent. Tip: The bathrooms are next door. It's an adventure. Go behind the fish counter, through the storage room. The single bathroom is in front of you. Open the door slowly, since there are two doors, and there might be someone in there. Make sure you lock both doors. Unlock both when you leave!

Very well prepared fried scallops and clam chowder - perfect for take out to a Cape Cod League Baseball game. There are are tables to eat in, but you'll be happier if you eat their food somewhere else.

Fries and Cod fish were undercooked and fish batter was yellow. Scallops were good. 08/13/15

Top notch fried fresh seafood. Great prices. Mostly take-out, though you might get a place to site if you're lucky.

Who doesn't like fried foods? Small shop but has seatings inside and a garden bench/table outside. We had the seafood platter - for $20, it was a lot. 2 ppl share. And Clam chowder. Food - fish, scallops, shrimp, clams, oyster - had nice crunch. Fish was well cooked, all else was well done but with Tobasco, we chomped on everything! Clam chowder - ppl usually see its done thick but theirs are soupy (not thick, not runny, some what in between)- I like it. Chopped up clams, few pieces of chopped potatoes. Delicious.

Lunch was very good. We headed to this place at recommendation of Laurianos of Brewster. They said Crickets was the place for lobster and they were spot on. There is an adjoining lobster and fish market that will steam the lobsters for you and bring them to the dining area. Pricing was very reasonable and the fried clams, tuna roll, were also very good. Only nitpick is that Cole slaw needs work.

  • Jay B.

Terrific service and fresh seafood. Lots of locals who seem to prefer take out. It's a little joint and you can pick up beer next door at the seafood market if that's how you enjoy your seafood. We had fried clams, broiled scallops, and crab cakes. The fries were crispy and golden-brown. Reasonable prices.

One of my favorite spots on the Cape for a quick lunch or dinner. Great fried shrimp, fish and chips, and chowder. Relaxed atmosphere with a great vibe.

This place is a no nonsense food joint. Don't plan to sit and enjoy a beer and appetizers before your main course, this place just does food (and well). SC's has been recommended to me by many locals as a good place to get reasonably priced seafood. Last night my family and I finally tried it and were not disappointed (with the food). I got the fish and chips and it was great. Probably the best I've tried. We also got onion rings which were very good. I think the best part however was my cup of haddock chowder which was fantastic. The kids got burgers and dogs which were average, but they loved the fries. The reason for the 3 star rating was that the service was miserable! Maybe it was just an off night, but the food took forever and no one there seemed to want to take any responsibility. When a customer walked in everyone seemed to find something else to do (like filling cocktail/tarter sauce containers) hoping someone else would help the customer. It was pretty comical. Also, make sure you check your order, people were getting the wrong stuff, missing things, etc. They forgot my chowder, lucky I checked. When we were waiting I'd guess 1/3-1/2 of the orders were wrong or missing stuff. Overall the food was very good and reasonably priced. If you can call your order in ahead it would save on the wait time. Just be prepared for the service and check your order. Otherwise enjoy!

This place is so close to our motel, so when we found out that we couldn't check in at 1pm yet, we came here for a quick lunch. I ordered the lobster roll and a small cole slaw. The lobster roll was pretty good, I liked the bun they used there, it's more like a toasted white bread. You also get a pretty decent amount of lobster chunks in that roll. The cole slaw is however a little too sour for me. I do, however, prefer a lobster roll that is in butter, not a lobster salad roll. I guess they don't serve it here. The other cons about this restaurant is that they are pretty small so there are about only 10 seats in there, and I do not see a bathroom there either.

We had hoped to stop for a late breakfast/early lunch at the Wee Packet in Dennisport, but they were on off-season hours and we didn't want to wait the eighty minutes for it to open. We kept heading out the Cape and as most of the places I was familiar with in the area were reduced to memories of childhood visits during the most recent economic downturn, or were dinner houses, I turned to Yelp for a little guidance. This was the second review we looked at (the first was one of those aforementioned dinner houses.) It is just as advertised..a classic New England roadside fish stand next door to a roadside fish market. Not a lot of frills-no bells and whistles, just food and a lot of it. We each ordered the scallop platter and shared a a bowl of chowder. The chowder was good and the scallops (sea not bay) were nice and sweet. The fries were fries. Nothing spectacular. I actually used ketchup on them and I don't really like ketchup. The scallops were not the best I had ever eaten, but the were very good. They had soda available, but it was all from a vending machine in the dining room. About the dining room, they have a few tables and it is nice and clean (think 80's tv show diners), but it is fairly apparent that most of their business is take away. If you are looking for a quintessential roadside fish stand, this could be a good pick for you.

Check this place out, old school Cape Cod little fried fish dive right next to a fish market. Prices are great and the order takers are always super nice. I dig the fish and chips as well as the oyster roll. It's more of a take out/clam shack type of joint. Don't miss this place.

Great Yelp find! We ordered the Fish and Chips, and Fried Oyster plate. Both were great and the prices reasonable.

While Sir Cricket's doesn't exactly make the best lobster roll 'round these parts, because if it's proximity to Nauset Fish Market I find myself here nearly every time I'm on Cape. They're speedy, efficient and make some of the most delicious fries I've ever had. It's nothing to look at - very simple and born of necessity as beach-goers and tourists wanted to not only purchase the seafood fron next door, they wanted to eat it. Immediately. There are a few small tables and a vending machine for beverages. You can order up any fresh fish they have fried up and served in a roll, and it will be scrumptious. My one complaint? While I love the freshness of the lobster roll, it's way too mayonaisey on occasion, and that just ruins the flavor.

  • Vina A.

Fried Oyster Roll. Yes Please! I sat outside and gobbled it up. It was so good with lemon! I like the artwork inside and that it's well ventilated (no greasy smell.) This is now going to be a MUST for any cape visit. I can't wait to try the fried clams and fish chowder.

  • Jay P.

This was our last stop after all the restaurants. I didn't think I would enjoy it. The lobster roll was a bit more "salady", more mayo than most. But I enjoyed it the same as the rest. The chowder was good too. What I liked best was the value. I felt like the $12 lobster roll wasn't as bad as $18 elsewhere. Would go back for sure. Also, it was cool to check out the market next door to see the live lobsters.

Sir Crickets was pretty great. After a trip to Skaket beach we wanted to find a local place for some seafood and SIR Cricket's had some great reviews. So, we decided we would stop in. I ordered the Fish Sandwich and the Hus got the fried Oyster Sandwich and we shared the fries. The batter which the fish was in was very light and crispy. My sandwich came with two very generous pieces of fish I added a little lemon, a little hot sauce, and I was in heaven. The Hus was also pretty happy with his selection as well. As Trippple H promised in her review, these are most definitely the most delicious fries I've ever had. The Dining room is a little on the small side, luckily we stopped in at not a very busy time. This place isn't really for large groups due to the limited seating factor. If ever I'm in the area again I'll most definitely stop in and give Sir Cricket another visit.

Fish chowder - crazy crazy crazy good. Only place on earth that understands how to balance the flour with other ingredients. I can almost eat a quart by myself. Sadly I can only eat once a year, but I am so glad this place is open to me!

Dropped in around 5 pm for a quick Lobster roll and some friend clams! Both excellent! Small little place mostly take out few little tables inside. They are supplied and owned by the wonderful fish and lobster shop next door. Loved the sweet freshness of the clams. Ask for them lightly battered not to overwhelm the flavor of the whole belly clams. I'll be back on my next visit to beautiful Cape cod!

I have been going here and eating their seafood all my life and I never had a problem with the food. However, this time I got clam chowder to take home and when I went to put it in a bowl it was just milk. Very disappointing!! Especially after spending $17 for a quart!! I expected chunks of clams and potatoes but received little to nothing.

It was Sunday night and off-season on the Cape. We'd been out biking all afternoon on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. We were hungry and after stopping at two other seafood shacks/shantys, I was getting a bit impatient. We remembered Sir Crickets from a mention by our hosts at the local B & B we were staying at. We passed the nondescript strip mall and Miss Mary said, "hey, there's that seafood place, Crickets." I turned around and we entered a small eatery, just off a local fish market. Here's a tip; if there's a seafood counter offering food adjacent to a fish market in New England, and you like fried seafood, it's usually a good option. That and their ubiquitous. Sir Crickets was very good. The fried oysters were wonderful. As said, we were starved, so we did the friend oysters, I had the fish tacos, a cup of amazingly tasty haddock chowder, and Miss Mary had their lobster roll (which she gave me a bite of). This roll was one of the better ones we've had, and everything else, including the fries, were great. Nothing fancy here, but fresh local fish, clams, and oysters, done up well. The choice of chowders and also a lobster bisque is a nice addition. They also have takeout if you want to grab your dinner and take it back to the place you're staying nearby.

Solid fried seafood (all the usual suspects), very low on atmosphere and excellent fish chowder. I would eat here again. I reckon this place on the water in a better setting would garner higher numbers.

Good chowder but excellent lobster roll and fried clams. Good fries, too. Nice folks. Best menu board ever!!

  • Rori S.

I liked it a lot. Had fish and chips. Fresh. I liked the fish batter, it was crispy brown and tasty. It's a small place with not much seating. The only thing I didn't really like was that sodas can only be purchased with the vending machine... so we skipped drinks. The retro menu board is kinda cool.

We've been staying in Orleans for 9 years and this was our first trip to Sir Cricket's. It won't be our last. At $10.99, the large order of fish & chips are a great deal and very tasty. I grew up in Kearny, NJ which had a large Scottish population and was known for its fish & chip shops, so I know what of I speak. Junior had an oyster plate ($11.99) which was more than even my hungry 11-year-old could eat. There were plenty of condiments from which to choose, including classic malt vinegar, tartar sauce, hot sauce, cocktail sauce and ketchup, which I like on my F&C. The counter server was friendly and helpful. My order was ready within 10 minutes. And they packed our meals in cardboard containers which let some of the steam escape which protects the crispy batter. Speaking of the batter, it is thick and tasty, though I can't figure out what the bright yellow color on the inside is (maybe turmeric?) As other reviewers have pointed out, there are a handful of tables (maybe 10 -12 as I recall) but most of Sir Cricket's business is take-out. And it's cash or check only. No credit cards accepted. Please let me know what you think of this review by clicking a button below. Thanks.

Stopped in on Memorial Day when not much else was open. Good thing it was a slow day bc there is only seating for maybe a dozen people (packed in like sardines). We got fish and chips and a fish sandwich. The fish portions were quite large and definitely hung over the edge of the sandwich roll. The fries were decent (had better, had worse), and so was the cole slaw. However, when I tried to rearrange my fish on the bun it completely fell apart. Not a huge deal, but made eating it a little difficult. I also needed to add salt to nearly everything to add some flavor. If you're looking for traditional battered fish & chips, go somewhere else. This was more of a breading as opposed to a thick crust. Maybe I just prefer a different style. You probably won't be disappointed, but I won't be trying to fit another trip into our schedule.

Fish & chip are fresh and tasty. Great clam chowder. Not many tables but they serve up the food quickly so the tables do turn over. Very reasonable prices for the quality. Busy all year long.

I was driving looking touring lighthouse and windmills of Cape Cod and came along SIR Cricket's.... Only a few tables in the place BUT great food. I got the fish and chip... VERY GOOD! If I am in the area again... this could be the "go to" place.

If you're looking for inexpensive, good, NE-style seafood. GO HERE!!!! They have fantastic dishes that won't break the bank, they don't serve alcohol (but you can grab a beer from the seafood market next door and bring it over) and seating is limited but this is a great place to go to especially if you're not in the mood for a full waiter/waitress style restaurant.

Fresh, over sized lobster rolls. I'm a fan! The fried sides are quality as well. There is seating, but I would recommend bringing dinner to the beach.

Went here last night before we left the Cape, couldn't stand to bear the thought of the line at Arnold's. I discovered this place about four years ago and always make it a stop for dinner during my time on the Cape. First, the prices can't really be beaten, especially in the area. $11.95 for a large fish and chips? SWEET! On to last nights dinner, my pork pal and I stopped in and both got the larges, this was a mistake. Too much food! (JUST ENOUGH, in this gluttonous mind). She got sweet potato fries, which I actually liked better than the regulars, especially with malt vinegar. We also had clam chowder, which is just perfect, haven't had better in my decades of eating on Cape Cod. We were lucky enough to snag the one picnic table outside and watched the clouds roll in as we buried our snouts in the MOST tender fried fish this porcine chap has ever experienced. The regular fries are just ok (malt vinegar makes everything better!) and their coleslaw is good, but not the best ever. Be forewarned, they only take cash and have minimal seating. We saw a few yuppie tourist families have conniption fits when they realized that their large SUV dwelling broods couldn't fit inside. Also saw a big, big lady stand at the counter and ask over and over again if each plate that was pushed out of the window was hers, until she finally left. OH WELL! THE LESS, THE MERRIER!

One of my favorites out of all the restaurants I tried in Cape Cod, this hole in the wall serves up a delicious lobster roll (only $13 with good sized chunks of lobster and a toasted bun!) and fried clams. I would suggest taking it to go as there are not many seats. It always has a good amount of people no matter what time you go but the wait is not long at all. Go!

  • madison h.

If your focus is the food, this is the place. If you're looking for ambiance go someplace else. To Go is perfect due to very limited inside & outside seating. Best crab cakes I ever had & calamari is excellent

    (5)
  • Kristin S.

We had the fish and chips, crab cake platter and clam chowder. Everything was delicious and ready pretty quickly. As some have mentioned, seating is limited, but we didn't have any trouble grabbing a picnic table outside for dinner. They also accepted credit cards when we were there. If you're nearby, you should probably stop.

Clam chowder is really yummy but the lobster roll is gross. Just a bunch of mayonnaise so it's not worth it don't get it. My friend ate the fish sandwich and said it was good.

Sir Cricket sucks with it's flies maybe that is why they named Sir cricket :-) place is dirty and has no seating way over rated food just ok nothing ground breaking. I would never go here again I will stick with Kream n Kone in west Dennis.

Great little spot for fried seafood (though my wife vouches for the broiled scallops too). Primarily a take-out spot but they do have a few tables if you want to eat in. Delicious chowder, lobster/shrimp rolls and fried seafood that is much better than most take-out places on the Cape. Can't wait for my next visit!

  • Kayrn K.

$20 for a lobster bomb. You get one slightly overstuffed lobster roll and a small bag of cape cod chips. Great lobster but sesuit harbor's lobster roll is just as great the same size, comes with fries and Cole slaw and is $5 less. Plus, the view is better and you can even byob. If you don't want to drive then this is a good place but both locations are equal distance for me. Other prices seem reasonable abt equal to most other fish markets.

    (3)
  • Daniel J.

Still my favorite lobster roll on the cape, although I don't have a ton to compare it too. It's got a decent price ($12.99 I believe at my last stop), and it's quite chunky in the best way. My mom thinks it is a bit too shredded but I think it has a great balance. I also love the clam chowder there. Just top notch. This has been an almost yearly stop up to where we stay in North Eastham and instantly gets me in the mood for a bit of Cape vacation time.

This is just a normal fish&chips place we couldn't find anything extraordinary. We waited quite too long and some clams were over-fried (burned). Not many seats inside the restaurant. They accept only cash and checks.

  • Andrew M.

This place is good. Like really really good. I am not even that big of a fish fan, but I could see myself eating their fish and chips for like a week straight. Slaw is legit too. I imagine this place is a zoo in the summer, but mid-march at lunch we got a table instantly. Let off a star because I kinda would like a fountain soda to go with everything. They only have a self-serve 20oz. soda machine. Seriously don't miss out on this place, it's worth it.

  • Kanekti K.

Had the Fish and Chips with coleslaw instead of fries. Unbelievably FRESH fish. I also got to try the Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque - pretty good too. This is definitely a place my family and I will go back to. I LOVE Cape Cod.

Great quality lobster rolls and crab cakes! Very reasonable prices (lobster roll was $12.99). Seating is limited but we got a table for two by the window. Casual atmosphere. Only drawback is cash only - please start taking credit cards!

  • Andrew T.

let me start out by saying I am not a huge fan of fish fry. however when your on the cape its just something that is going to happen if your there more than a day. They have the best fried fish i have found on the cape as well as lots different things to pick from from chowders and lobster/crab rolls. Also they have the best calamari i have found on the cape and sweet potato fries that are really good and never to soggy. now the bad, Its a small store in a small strip mall so parking and seating is always tight (the outside picnic table in the summer is your best bet if there is space) also they don't serve drinks (other than ice water) but have vending machines for soda. Over all sir crickets should be at the top of your list if your on the cape and need the cape style seafood. Don't go to the over priced summer tourist traps (cough cough cobbies)

    (5)
  • Sam H.

Have eaten here forever. Amazing, succulent (yes, that word) fried shrimp and maybe the best fried scallops you'll ever eat. Ever. Fresher than fresh. This is takeout by the way.

    (5)
  • Jane E.

Went based on yelp reviews. I am not too keen on deep fried anything or seafood, so am not the best person to judge. The place is really small and we felt that we were crowding in on people, even though it was not packed. The food was not bad or that great. It was ok. The portion size is huge and based on the amount of takeout traffic, it is a a popular place for the families in/around the area. If you are on the road and heading to provincetown, then I recommend stopping here for the deep fried seafood as it is representative of any of the other places around the area.

    (3)

Decidedly mediocre fish n chips, lobster roll, and chowder, especially compared with other places in the area. Ambiance is nil. Prices are reasonable, but you get what you pay for.

Went last nite. Place looks like you'd expect from a cape fried seafood place. connected to a great fish market (Nauset). Went planning on getting fried scallops and saw the sign for broiled. Let my health needs get to me and ordered a broiled scallop plate. Should have stuck with fried. Scallops were cut in half to broil quicker and were overdone. While I was there a guy came in and ordered a fried scallop basket. that looked much better (half of what I paid for a full plate and no difference in size.) The menu and prices seem good and will try again. Just was disappointed in the broiled scallops (dry and small).

3.5 stars... Sir Crickets is your typical fried seafood shack at heart except that it's a tiny hole-in-the-wall spot in a strip mall type setting that seems to cater more to the take-out crowd. I heard so much about this place before going and had high hopes but sadly they fell short of my expectations. In terms of the fish and chips you can get the fish and chips, or just the fish, and a large or small size. As no one in New England can make good french fries I ordered the large portion of fish only and a side of onion rings. The portion of fish was good but the batter wasn't and it also wasn't sticking to the fish. In addition, the fish wasn't drained correctly so it was quite watery and all the water on the plate made the bottom of the fish soggy. The onion rings were ok but again the crunchy batter on them was unusual in not the best way. It's also interesting to note that the place is cash only and there's no ATM anywhere around and if you want a drink then your only option is the soda vending machine by the counter. If you're truly after a good fish and chips (or any other fried seafood) then you're better off driving to Kream and Kone instead.

Excellent, excellent fried clams and fried oysters. We're from Rhode Island, where we get great seafood, and this is some of the BEST we've had! Will definitely come here when we're on the Cape.

  • Robert S.

Best chowder that we had on the Cape all week. We called as we left Stop & Shop after a big shop on the first night we arrived on the Cape. Great for takeout. Fried clams were excellent. I liked the Lobster Roll, although I prefer large pieces of lobster and this is more if a minced lobster salad. More of a tuna fish sandwich consistency. Fortunately, it's lobster, so it tastes great no matter what.

  • Val D.

Sir Cricket's had perfectly acceptable food, but I find that there are other places on the Cape that have better tasting fried seafood. By that I mean that the times I ate there the food wasn't as flavorful as some other places. Great lobster roll though! The cash only policy can be quite a problem as they don't have an ATM machine. You usually don't end up eating in the tiny eating area and by the time you find a place to eat it,( unless you scarf it down in the parking lot ) it's not hot, which definitely is not the best way to eat seafood. I would go there for lunch and order the lobster roll...that's about it.

you come here for fish and chips. you dont come here for NON FISH meals. you are on cape cod people... eat like you are on cape cod. The fries taste like they are fried in the same oils, so mark down. the other fried food, like the oysters and clams are greatness, crisp, so many its overwhelming, and fresh. its a very cape cod set up, nothing classy here folks, but this is not what you should expect when getting good fried fish. its right next to a fish market so you KNOW its as fresh as one gets.

Small place with little ambiance but MAN what great chowder and clams. It's cheap too and right off the road to P-town so check it out.

Excellent fried clams and fish and chips. Sir Cricket's may benefit from being in the same building as one of the best fish markets on the lower Cape. It's cute but pretty cramped inside so you can't count on having a sit down meal here during the summer. Order the whole clams if you if you want the real thing. Clam strips are just shredded sea clams, a totally different thing.

This place is a MUST for their fried clams and creamy fish chowder. Everything is really fresh, which is probably because they own the fish market next door. My family and I always make at least one stop here while visiting the cape. They are affordable, fast, and fresh. The best we have tried for take-out style seafood around Orleans. d

Came here twice with my husband while we were exploring Cape Cod National Seashore in early October. Ordered the large size fish and chips both times, and also sampled the fried shrimp and clam chowder. The fried fish was FANTASTIC! The fries were solid; nothing amazing. The fried shrimp were very good, as was the chowder. The woman at the counter recognized us the second time we came in, and she and the fry cook were friendly in a nice, relaxed way. A place worthy of many returns!

I've been coming to Orleans to visit family every year since I was 4 and Sir Cricket's is a MUST. I refuse to leave until I have had a crab roll and some chowder. Update: I went here over the weekend and I am happy to report it is still as fantastic as ever. AND they had a special crabster roll (lobster and crab for all you land locked friends). I was in heaven.

BEST clams ever. Ever. Fresh and cooked to a perfect golden brown (just enough batter). Delightful onion rings, melts-in-your-mouth crab roll. Very small dining area, just a few small tables. Loads of people coming in to pick up orders while we were there, definitely a busy spot at times. I'll be back! Take cash, no credit cards accepted.

Doesn't get any better for a local fried seafood shack. Plan on take-out unless you come in the off-season or off-hours.

No frills and simple fried food. Yeah. Love the painted menu board and basics like fried fish, clams, oysters, scallops, and onion rings. They don't serve beer but you can go next door to the fish market and buy a 40 or a pack of beer. Bring that beer back to the small dining room and chow down your fried feast. Prices are reasonable. Don't expect anything from the atmosphere as this is mostly a take out place. 3 of us shared two medium orders of clams and oysters, plus an "small" order of onion rings (they weren't very small!), cup of chowder and a small side of coleslaw for $13 each. Oh and... losbster roll is quite reasonable compared to other places at $10.95. There's also chicken tenders, hamburgers and hot dogs for non-seafood eaters at $3.95 each.

Best lobster rolls on the cape. I made a couple of visits here my last time to the cape, and the food was just as good as i remembered. The service is friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Not much room for seating, but you can take the food outside to the benches to eat. I recommend the chowder and the lobster rolls.

This place is old school, that is to say the food is fresh, the oil they fry in is clean, they spend no time or energy on ambience and it's local teenagers cooking it up. Started coming here in the 80's for the huge fried fish sandwiches and have worked through the menu with wife and 3 children. Do not miss the fish chowder when they have it, the clam chowder is 2 nd best. Fried clams are tough to get right, they do. Take it across the street and eat on the grass next to to the windmill and look out at Nauset inlet. Nice...

2 Fisherman's platters in 2 days probably isn't what the doctor ordered, but when you're only here once in a blue moon, you take advantage of it! Light, fluffy batter and crispy fries make it the perfect platter! Full and junior portions are just enough to share between 2 adults. Prices are competitive. Just a perfect Cape hole in the wall!

This place is great after a long day at Nauset Beach. I think they make the best clam chowder on the Cape and their fish and chips is hands down the best I have ever had. Plain and simple.

Worth a visit if you enjoy lobster rolls, which I rate the best in Cape Cod. Not much room for seating so you will want to take your meal to go. Also make excellent picnic food to enjoy at an Orlean's baseball game. Additionally the fish and chips are tastey. But it is hard to dislike fish and chips anywhere in the Cape.
