Very crowded on a Saturday around 6:15 p, but we snagged 2 seats at the bar fairly quickly. Bartenders were friendly & attentive, even tho they were roped. Excellent jalapeño margaritas!! Started w small buffalo wings for hubs who loved them; also had chips & guacamole that were also damn good. Chips were thin, crisp & warm & guac was chunky& fresh, but needed salt & lime! Hubs had baked haddock w double veg, & he really enjoyed. I had a special---chicken pot pie w/mashed potatoes & cranberry sauce. It was soooo delicious!! Crust was so buttery & yummy--I don't THINK it was puff pastry cuz it had more body than that. Filling was excellent. Too full for dessert but they had a great selection. I had a coffee drink that was perfect. We SHALL return!!

Great place, older crowd but never a problem. Great place to go out for a bite to eat. Plenty of beers on tap and great wings. Overall no complaints, staff is local and whole atmosphere is typical of the South Shore. Great spot in the summer & summer nights.

Harry's is probably my favorite place to eat in Middleboro, the food is "normal" (burgers, wraps, seafood, wings, brunch (on Sunday's)) ... but I have never had a bad meal here. A big downfall is the size of the place, very small so there is usually a wait. They have an outdoor seating area during the summer which helps a lot. Monday's 1/2 price quesadillas (love the chicken and cheese) Tuesday 1/2 prices wings (full size wings, very good taste, I get them "afterburner crispy") - there is ALWAYS a wait on wings night! Then there are a couple night they have buy 1 pizza get a cheese pizza for $1 .. There pizza is actually really good (Loaded potato pizza! Umm) The service is not a fancy Boston restaurant, it is a small very busy Middleboro restaurant so yes it can be slow sometimes, but what do you expect? Drinks are good, prices are good, food is good and consistent ... Can't say that about most Middleboro restaurants so that's why Harry's is my go to place!

They have the biggest, delicious buffalo wings but the rest of the food was just okay for me.

  • Diane C.

Rare to find a place where everything was 5 stars! The wings were the best ever - crispy, moist inside and HUGE! Steak was good and came with delicious fries and cole Slaw. Quesadillas were fabulous too. So much food it will be enough leftover for another meal. Nice relaxed atmosphere and outside seating. Place was clean and service outstanding. Too top it off - prices were reasonable.

  • Crystal G.

They have the best chicken wings in the area no doubt about it! Half price wing Tuesday... I am not talking little chicken wing dings.... They make a pretty damn good margarita too!

Great pub! Food was good, drinks as well. Watched the PGA, service was great and the food quick. Prices were very reasonable. Outside dining availble but we choose inside to see the golf. Good for kids. Unsuccessfully played keno but that happens everywhere. Eat here rather than the chains.

  • Brooke T.

I can only give it three stars because although the food ended up coming out fast and was delicious we waited at a table outside for about ten minutes and no on ever came over .Finally I had to go inside to the group of waitress and staff and ask for service .

    (3)
  • Tara S.

Love their specials! I look forward to checking them on the weekends when my husband and I order out. I have some favorites that I get really excited to see but love trying new stuff too! Can't say much about eating in because we usually just order take out. Best restaurant to get dinner near me!! I'm near route 44 in Raynham.

Been here several times now and have never had a bad experience- pizza is good and the piper cub is tasty. This is a great place to get a good meal at a reasonable price

This is now the 3rd or 4th time I've been to Harry's. We've never had a bad experience! Whether you're in the mood for a quick appetizer or an entree, you can't go wrong. And if you're a wing lover, you gotta try the jumbo wings. I was never really a fan of the v-wings, but not are they good here! Don't forget the buffalo fries, delicious. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Kristen our waitress was awesome !! Best calm chowdah in the area !! Sunday is buy one pizza get the second for $1.00. They have a bloody mary menu ! Out door seating was fun and inside is fun :)

We each had the harrier jet combo that gave us a total of four selections. All in all we were very satisfied with the food. Heather, our waitress, was very friendly and attentive. Just like Dave's diner this is a great place to eat.

  • Geoffrey D.

Second visit. Excellent every thing. Sat outside and enjoyed a nice fire, super service and delicious food cooked to our requests. Can't think of anything that would knock down to 4 stars.

  • Shaileen O.

Although their food is amazing and who i believe was the manager seemed extremely friendly.. i had a heavy set waitress with blonde hair that was just awful. She seemed annoyed with our orders and kept disappearing probably to smoke a cigarette.. Because she reeked of an ashtray.. Which is pretty bad if i can smell it since i smoke..

This place sucks.Useless workers Crapy food.Very horrible combinations.Stupid theme. But I like how they have the outdoor channel and sports channel on.

I love this place. The people there know what they are doing and the atmosphere is friendly and family orientated. I love the roast beef dinner.

  • G K.

This place is really great. The service is excellent. I like that the manager/owner walks around making sure people enjoy themselves and also helping to clean up. The food is OK...it was cooked perfectly..but lacked some flavor. I've had pizza, burgers, and wings. The food was very good but I have had better. I'll still be back many more times. Its really a great place.

This was introduced to me from my cousin Janice. We stopped here on the way home from the airport. Great food will be back when I am back in Mass.

    (4)
  • Tim L.

Pleasant aviation theme atmosphere and great food! Go for the Jumbo Jet wings or the loaded Piper Cub... Those are my two favorites... Sit at the bar or grab a table, either way the service is quick and knowledgeable! And they have Spitfire on draft! Yum!

  • Hazel S.

The worst buffalo tenders ever... Not even an attempt at being good. Salad with tips was terrible as well. This place was gone way down hill

  • Ray Y.

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because if we decide to head here there's a good chance they'll be a long wait and no chairs at the bar. Alternate choices in this area or limited so it's a gamble (not to disparage Dave's Dinner too much). There are a couple choices that are simply outstanding so we've ventured little from these. First the roast beef sandwich with the au jois (a french dip called "the piper cub" - because everything is named after planes) is delicious and my wife's favorite. The Bourbon Burger is my go-to dish. I don't know what this bourbon sauce is but it wouldn't surprise me if it were made of crack - because it's that additive. I've tried the whole fried clams and they were sweet and plentiful with a good amount of cole slaw (a pet peeve of mine). I question whether the chicken wings are truly from chickens - look more like pterodactyl wings to me. The pizza, french fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings are all about average. The kids menu is much more extensive than in most other places.

  • Kathryn M.

Great food and we weren't expecting such large portions! We ended up with a bit too much food but that is not a complaint. We had a friend who recommended this place for wings and they did not disappoint.

    (5)
  • Lauren N.

I love the food here, the bartenders are nice... I just wish there was more seating at the bar. The place is always packed... so parking is never easy and the place is squished. I will still continue to come back, though.

  • Justin D.

I have visited this place many times now as we have moved closer. The food has always been pretty good. The wings are unique as the are the entire wing not just the drumstick. They have some great specials every night. In the nicer weather they have a great outside seating area. The wait staff and bar staff have always been great and accommodating. If you go on Tuesday night get there early due to the specials.

  • Danielle L.

I love this place so much that even though I've moved from the area, I still look for a chance to go here anytime I can. Decor is a little cheesy, there's an aviation theme and if you're expecting anything sleek and modern, go somewhere else. It's comfortable, and in this place, that's all that matters, because you come for the food. I've loved everything I've ever ordered here, but I tend to go to the clam strip basket as a default because it's huge and comes with both fries and onion rings. The burgers are terrific here, and so are the wings. One of my favorite aspects of this place is the wait staff, many of them have been here awhile and they recognize the regulars. One even could rattle off our usual order! I rarely find friendlier people than those that work here. It's just a great little neighborhood place. It does get crowded, so come early unless you don't mind the wait!

  • JackSarah C.

I've heard many great things and was in the area so figured I'd try and it was great :) ...We got the Harry's favorite sandwich which consisted of roast beef, onions, mushrooms, and swiss , as well as au jus & horseradish for dipping. My son got a cheeseburger and ate it all (which never happens) so he's a fan! We did get 2 pretzels for an appetizer and they were ok, just a soft pretzel nothing special so probably wouldn't order it again. The manager or owner I'm assuming kept coming over to check and made us feel very welcomed! He also made it a point to greet all the customers in the dining area and I found that very cool. I can't wait to go back and try the wings and pizza!

    (5)
  • Jaclyn J.

Harry's has the best wings around!!! The Wait staff is always welcoming and attentive and the food is always great!! There is always a long wait around dinner time so we usually try to get there on the earlier or later side of the rush

    (5)
  • Dave D.

We just left and I'm stuffed. I'd give the bourbon burger with bacon 5 stars and give the fries 3 stars. The fries are steak fries. They were good but I prefer regular cut crispy fries. My wife had a cheese burger club and nothing went to waste so I would say she enjoyed it. The burger was just the right size so I could eat the whole thing because let's face it, taking half a burger home is a waste. It's not good reheated. We've been here once before and will be back.

Good food, but pathetic portions. Staff is pleasant and attentive. Nice sitting out on the patio sitting next to the fire.

We saw this place on Phantom Gourmet and finally took the ride out from Worcester. Well worth the ride! We tried the fried pickles by suggestion of our waitress Jessica. (Who was very pleasant and attentive). They were delish. The bourbon burger was cooked to perfection. Amazing onion rings. The boneless chicken were a very nice surprise. Very fresh. Light batter. The Asian and atomic sauces were very fun. You have to try the atomic if you're a spicy food fan! Overall great experience! Did I mention the fun aviation themed decor and menu names?

  • Timothy B.

I've only been here a few times and gotten the wings every time. Based on the wings alone, I give this place 4 stars. I will update this as I order more items from the menu and, if the next thing I order is as good as the wings are, they will go up to 5 stars.

Saw a review on the tv by the Phanthom Gourmet about how great Harry's Clam Basket is. I had to check it out, as im a clam dinner aficionado. What a disappointment. Fries on the bottom, fried clams mixed with onion rings on top. First, there really weren't many clams in the basket. Mostly fries and onion rings. The meal was overpriced, as I've gotten clam dinners for under $20 at other places. The clams did not have full bellys. The clams were rather shriveled. I think the Phanthom's standards are going down the toilet.

I used to go here a lot when it was another name (CJ's I think?) Been meeting friends here from time to time now. During the summer it was easy to meet and be outside and people could join and leave the group, but sad to say the outdoor eating days are over now, or soon. I LOVE the wings here. it is real food, cooked and seasoned well. Not some factory separated meat like product that is then just breaded and fried. I have also tried a few of the different burgers. Most are decent, it is just if you get tomatoes no matter what time of year they are just like cardboard and any of the different sauces for the burgers are just sugar with color and flavor in them and all too sweet. I was recently here at the inside bar and the servers just didn't seem as friendly as outside.

  • Steve T.

I've eaten here twice and have had no problems with the food--it's very good from my experiences. My complaints are being charged $2.39 for a tiny glass of soda water and they have a serious fly issue.. I'm a clean person and these suckers wouldn't leave me alone the whole time.

We have never had a bad meal at Harry's. Fun bar atmosphere and good burgers, seafood, drinks & apps. Tends to very crowded on Friday & Saturday nights

  • Tom B.

Harry's has become our go-to place for takeout on a Friday night. Superb bar pie, with a nice, crispy crust, delicious sauce, and just the right amount of toppings. Up there with the best bar pies on the south shore (Cape Cod, Linwood, Town Spa). The wings: HUGE, tasty, cooked to perfection (we like ours extra crispy, so we ask for them well done), with a variety of flavors. Our favs are the buffalo and spicy gold bbq. They're more than happy to give you extra sauce on the side, and aren't stingy with the dipping sauces/dressings by any stretch of the imagination. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5-star review is the cramped entryway to the restaurant. The place is always packed (always a good sign), but the entryway is very small. It's tough to work your way in there and gets more than a little uncomfortable trying to juggle a stack of takeout boxes and sign the credit card receipt while surrounded by patrons waiting for a table and waitresses coming and going. There's really not much they can do about it, but I wish they could expand the entryway and hostess station to give a little more room and a table or something to work with.

First time here, noisy but who cares. American burger with onion rings, done the way you want, with bacon, lettuce, tomato, sautéed onion and mushrooms. So good. Sheila had the Asian sweet chilli wings. We're also very good. We will be back.

I have never been to Harry's and wasn't to sure what to expect. But I was looking for someplace different to grab some wings. I ended up searching "hot wings" in Yelp and Harry's came up on the list. We went this past Saturday and the place was packed. We ended up waiting 30-35 minuets for a seat but so didn't many other patrons. The inside dinning area is smaller than I expected which would explain for the wait. There seemed to be a lot of people crammed into the bar section as well. We started with two orders of wings. 4 of Asian Sweet Chili and 4 of the Buffalo. The Buffalo offers 4 types of "hotness" mild, medium, afterburner and atomic", We ended up going with the afterburner. The wings are huge! I was impressed. They are the first restaurant I have seen serve their wings as a whole thy. ( leg and wing together) Every place I have ever ordered wings either gives you the drumstick or wing separately, but not Harry's. The Buffalo Afterburner was not as hot as I expected, had a small kick , next time I will order the Atomic. For our dinner we ordered burgers. My wife ordered the BLT burger no cheese and I ordered the TexMex Burger. My burger came with lettuce, tomato, onion and guacamole. Burgers were big and hot and became messy towards the end. Not a bad messy but a good messy. The meat patties were fresh, not frozen. You could tell by the way each burger was sized differently. They probably use a 80/20 meat which results in the juicy fatness that drips out as you bite into it, thus making it a little messy. Service was great. we didn't mind the wait. Server was good and fast even the manager went around to the tables to pick up dirty dishes and talk to the customers to see how things tasted. All in all. Very tasty! We will be back.

I've been here a few times over the years and I'm not impressed. The last time I went to Harry's, which was a few months back, I was meeting up with a friend for lunch. We sat at the bar. It wasn't very busy, there were maybe four or five others at the bar. The waitress took our order after about five minutes or so. The margaritas were not bad, but just "okay". We ordered food. My order came out fine, but my friend had gotten a quesadilla. It was dripping with grease and had some ingredient I've since forgotten that she requested be left out. She was quite upset about the fact her order was wrong. The bartender was very apologetic and offered her something else from the menu. She gets an A for customer service, she was really trying to rectify the situation. Another younger blonde bartender stepped behind the bar while the previous one went to do something else. I was in need of another drink and she did not even acknowledge we were there. She only paid attention to the group of townies on the other end. The previous waitress came back, realized we hadn't gotten more drinks, apologized & filled our cups. All my other times the service was standard and the food not bad, but not memorable. The one thing that bothers me is the townie crowd. You almost feel unwelcome upon walking through the door. Everyone just looks at you in a "who are you, why are you here" sort of way. It just makes you feel uncomfortable. I don't have any desire to return.

Saw them on the phantom gourmet after I moved to the area. They're most known for their wings. They are ginormous and have all 3 sections. So a "small" order of 4 wings is really 8+ wings at a regular restaurant. They are a drier style wing when you get buffalo. It is not very wet. The skin is not very crispy either as they do some special process involving an oven, rather than a typical deep frying. So if you want a crispy wing, you need to ask for extra crispy, which can sometimes be kinda burned. They could really use a hotter buffalo too. They have mild, medium, afterburner, atomic. There is no hot, so "afterburner" is really just regular buffalo. So atomic is only one step up, and is pretty weak Ribs were surprisingly really good. Fries have a nice batter coating. Place is always jamming, which is great for business but it can be hard to find a parking space sometimes. Especially on Tuesdays which is half off wings night. There is no waiting area so people just spill out all over the place. I am hoping it might be better in the summer when the outside patio area opens up.

Wings! (Caution) HUGE and delicious! Very friendly staff and plenty of TVs to watch the game! Really good find!

Chicken parm sandwich is awesome. Hubby had the blt burger, nice and juicy, perfectly done. Busy Friday night, so it was noisy, but the food makes up for it. We will be back when in the area again.

  • Stephanie W.

Had the spicy gold wings and taco salad. Both AMAZING. Always stop by Harry's when in town and make sure to ask for Kim or Kristen as our server. Food is always good but when we get Kim or Kristen as a server we know we will be well taken care of. Both girls are professional, efficient and pleasant making for the perfect dining experience. We have two kids in tow so it's not always easy to dine out. We know Kim And Kristen will get the fries out on time and entertain the boys so we can enjoy our meal. They def go above and beyond.

Wings are very good. The menu was reasonable in comparison to the surrounding venues. Portions are generous. I ordered a burger that was better than most . My wife got a dinner salad that was huge . Service was outstanding, Kim was an excellent server and made it easy to dine with young children. I will go back when in the area .

Harry's is solid in a very limited culinary region. It's mostly bar food, but their wings are great and the ribs are legit too.

    (4)
  • Sara C.

Harry's is a gem. The service is great. The manager (or owner) is always walking around making conversation and asking how everything is, without being obnoxious. I have not had a waitress yet that wasn't friendly and attentive. The food is also wonderful. I always end up getting the same thing, which is the quesadillas and quahogs. Both are very good, but the quahogs are standout and well known. I literally cannot eat any other quahog with comparing it to Harry's, and FYI, none compare. The drinks are strong and there is a fairly large menu for them. They come out quickly and the waitresses always offer to refill. The plane theme is a little strange, and there is a definite townie feel to the place, but you'll feel welcome regardless. Wait times can be a little high since the place is so popular and small, but there are places you can sit down while you wait. It's worth the wait.

While traveling came in for some wings and a beer and to watch Knicks-Celtics. Busy bar, very friendly, courteous staff. Wings came in a bunch of flavors, very large and meaty, half price special on Tuesday night.......lucky me.....excellent. Cold beer. Lot of guys and gals BSing at the bar. Felt like I was at "Cheers". Real good neighborhood place.

I literally came in here to meet up with my girlfriend and one of our friends. They were here for a while and they ate dinner but I was just stopping by for a drink to hangout. The bartenders completely ignored me for the first 15 mins I was there and then I ordered a bud light she instantly gives me a bottle with asking me if I want 1 of 3 different size draft beers. Whatever I can deal. BUT I finish my beer sit here and nothing! She never comes back over and asks me if I want another one. It's not busy at the bar there are 2 bartenders and they would just glance at my empty bottle and walk away. The kicker is she took my empty bottle without a word. So I will probably not be back to this establishment for quite sometime based on my terrible experience with the worst bartenders ever. I would like to give this place 0 stars but I can't.

My husband and I went there for the first time... I'm only giving one star but think it deserves no star!!! There was so many flies I was totally disgusted!!!! The whole time we were eating we had to keep waving are hands over our food to keep those nasty flies off our food!!!!! Absolutely disgusted!!!! The bartenders were very polite and served us right away. It was very crowded and a small place. We ordered the fishermen platter to share which was 21.99 we had expected a big portion of fish to only receive little bite size! Of fish was very disappointed!!!! Maybe we should of ordered something different???

I came here based on a phantom gourmet recommendation that one of their burgers was "worth the drive". I won't be following anymore of phantom's recommendations. The restaurant is very casual. Some may call it a dive. The menu is fairly extensive. My waitress was very pleasant although she didn't introduce herself. I started off by ordering a six piece buffalo wing appetizer. When it arrived, I was disappointed to see that instead of the usual drumettes and wingettes that most places serve, these were full size wings. Some people may see this as a huge plus but I've never been a fan of full size chicken wings. Far to much rubbery chicken skin! I ended up sending them back. The owner was nice enough to take them off the bill but I paid for them anyway. The entrée was the Bourbon Burger....the dish worth driving to. NOT! It was topped with bacon and onion rings and a bourbon sauce that I found to be to sweet. At best it's an average burger. Nothing special and certainly not worth driving to. I had cole slaw as a side but that proved to be very bland. The saving grace was their pizza or so I thought. I ordered an onion and pepperoni pizza to go when I placed my order. They have good "bar" style pizza. Unfortunately, when I got the pizza home I discovered that they gave me an onion and pepper pizza. Infuriating. Not recommended

The food is good. But I would not say great. It has a lot of interesting airplane items to add a bit of interest to it. Staff just seemed lost along with the patrons. The people were very diverse. From bikers to elderly ladies. Sometimes it felt like a sports bar, sometimes a dive bar......sometimes a family place. I won't say I dislike it. Just was kind of odd.

Oh Harry's...where do I begin? My book club meets here just about every month and I love how the waitstaff always remembers us. My husband and I love it here, too, and haven't had a bad meal yet. Standouts: The wings, the nachos, the Barnstormer Trio, burgers, roast beef sandwiches, and strong drinks. It's a small place, that often has a wait, but it's worth it. They recently opened on Monday's due to popular demand, too. Well done!

    (5)
  • Ashley P.

You haven't had a roast beef sandwich until you have had one at Harry's. Served with a variety of sauce choices (I enjoyed the BBQ with melted cheddar version), the sandwich disappeared off my plate in record time. Literally finger-licking good, the extra pile of napkins provided were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this dish if you try this place out! Atmosphere is very inviting, light wood interior. . . bar area and booth/table area. Big screen tv's line the walls. Closed on Monday's but open until 1 am every other night of the week. Menu follows an airplane theme with sections such as "start your engines" and "cruising altitude". Large menu variety, baskets, soups, salads, pizza, entrees, sandwiches, etc. Staff was friendly and not overbearing. Equally as attentive to the new-comers and regulars. I am greatly looking forward to returning to this restaurant and stepping through the gates of roast beef sandwich heaven. . . MmmmMmmm.

This is favorite place for us, good food, nice bar very popular area eatery, and contrary to what Yelp shows Harry's is open Sunday mornings at 9am serving delicious breakfast and brunch! Outdoor patio too. If you are in this area stop by, worth a visit. Very close to 495 for the Cape travelers.

Harry's Bar & Grille, you are my new favorite place on this earth. I went in with high hopes from previous Yelp reviews, and I was not disappointed! The place seems really small once you get in there, but the bar side is actually pretty cozy and comfortable. The decor consists of hanging model airplanes and straw hats. If a pilot met a parrothead and had a baby, he would be named Harry. The bar attracts both local and passing bikers. The outside seating is especially convenient to scope out the different rides at the first sound of potato-potato-potato. With all of the wait staff flaunting "Got Wings?" shirts, I had to try them out. They come out piping-hot and were ENORMOUS; no way do they skimp here. I was expecting a plate of disjointed wings, but these were big mothers that looked like they'd sprout feathers and start flapping away if only I slowed down eating them. The roast beef sandwiches are pretty much to die for, and they only taste better with that awesome dill sauce (you can dip anything in it, I swear!). The fried shrimp plate is bountiful, but the best things are their margaritas. I forgot to order top-shelf on my first one, but it didn't matter. The sour mix is perfect and not overdone like some of the Chili's and Friday's of the world. My favorite fixture in Harry's is the Wall of Fame (Shame?). On my first visit, I asked why there was an entire section covered in plaques with people's names and dates on it. Apparently, you can get a T-shirt and an engraving on the wall if you down a $20 tequila shot...complete with a worm. Some day, when I have had enough of Harry's delicious margaritas, I will be a member of this elite club. Worm, your days are numbered.

I love Harry's. Good food and good service. I normally get their Greek salad wrap and sweet potato fries. Their salad wrap has banana bell peppers which gives it a signature taste without being spicy hot. The noise level can get a little bit on the louder side, but not anymore than any other typical bar/restaurant.

I've been going to Harry's for maybe the last year or so ago. I have been very impressed with the food, in particular the chicken wings. The waitstaff can use a little upgrading, the waitress that served us last week was either new or incompetent. She had no idea how to use the computer and no one was to quick to lend her a hand. I had to get my own drinks from the bar, not once but twice. We only ordered wings and onion rings and were there for about an hour and a half. Food was great but the service was horrendous.

I took my daughter & granddaughter to Harry's for a late lunch one afternoon, and got a great deal on some sweet Asian chicken wings. Most places I've been to cut the wings in half, so I noticed they had them on special that day at 6 for $4.99, so I ordered those and a plain old hot dog. When the wings came out I couldn't believe how huge they were, and they were the whole wing, not just half wings. The Asian sauce they used was very good. I only ate 3 of them, because I didn't want to fill up on wings before my dog got there. The hot dog was fat & juicy, and I miss the flat sided New England hot dog buns, which you can't get in Sqn Diego. Prices were pretty reasonable, too.

Small but pleasant. Tried the deck but it's right on a noisy highway with too many diesel trucks, and when we arrived, it seems the local cigar club did too. I couldn't enjoy food with 10 people smoking cigars next to me and a busy road, so we went inside. I wasn't impressed with the fish and chips, the waitress said it would be 2 large pieces and we got 4 little pieces that almost looked frozen type, but it tasted fine and was plenty filling. Tried the wings, and yes, they were pretty fab. The nachos were ok - to me - I've had better and I've had worse. Next time we plan to try that roast beef everyone's talking about. Oh, and now they have Pabst, so that was a big plus for the hubby. We'll keep going back!

  • Sometimes you don't want chinese, indian, thai and other days your not feeling the italian, mexican or the place that does the fish. Sometimes you just feel like something, big, greesy, and satisfying. IT's whatlead me back to Harry's last time i was over in Massattussets. Harry's isnt quite a dinner, nor is it a 'restaurant'. It's cozy, with booths, sports on the TV and aviation paraphinalial everywhere. The menu is split into aviation terms: Taxi for starters, Cross check for salads, Take off for mains and Landing for dessert. They have alittle bit of everything here, Pizza, Burgers, Ribs even a sprinkling array of fish. Prices are ridiculous, 3 people can eat a lot, plus endless refills for less than $30. There is an old school 50's style diner across the road, which i have to admit is badass, but its often gets very busy. So if it looks a bit crowded, head over to harry's, they are both owned by the same people

Pricey, smokey, and above all, average, Harry's is just another odd and ridiculous place that Middleboro has to offer. The waitresses are just a bit trashy, and the atmosphere feels like a scene out of "My Cousin Vinny". Above all, he place is just serving burgers that taste pretty bad. The only good thing about Harry's is that it has okay fries. For me, fries are the only things that can save a place from A One star.

Fun atmosphere. We didn't eat there, but the food looked good for pub food.

I've only been to Harry's once, but the place was packed. The decor is sort of cheesy but anyways.. I ordered their fish sandwich, which turned out to be the best one I've ever had. They offer my favorite American beer there, Schlitz, and I also ordered a watermelon martini which was very good; the waitress had a great personality but I am inclined to believe I lucked out in that instance. They have screens there to play Keno which is a plus. I would definitely go back but it's not a restaurant I would eat at regularly

I was told that the roast beef at Harry's was even better than Kelly's Roast Beef. I'm not sure if I'd go that far, but if it wasn't better, it was at least as good. I would definitely recommend it. The only downside was that their horseradish wasn't the real stuff like it is at Kelly's. Overall though, I was incredibly pleased.

I'll never go back to Harry's to even give the food a shot. I went in here today on my lunch break and sat at the bar. The bartender saw me sit down and took a few minutes playing someones Keno numbers. Then three regulars walked in, and she said hi to them. She then made eye contact with me but didn't even acknowledge me, then went and handed the three regulars menus, and took their drink orders. Then she started to pour their beers. I just got up and walked out. If she just told me she would be right with me, I would have been happy but she didn't even say hi. They won't get a second chance from me.

Food is ok but the staff has half a brain. I waited while they sat a party the same size of mine ( that checked in after we did) ahead of me. When I complained they just shrugged me off. To top things off I got served the wrong dish. Instead of horseradish I was served cucumber dill sauce. the waitress said she didn't know what horseradish was. The staff seemed more interested in gathering towards the back of the place to chit chat.

Harry's is much better than your average neighborhood bar/pub. The food is great quality. I love that the sandwiches come with fries and a few onion rings so you get to sample both. I'm not usually a big fan of steak fries but these are done perfectly -- a slight crisp on the outside but tender on the inside. I like dipping them in the horseradish and dill sauce that they serve with the roast beef sandwich. Boneless wings are great, I'm very picky about the quality of my chicken so if it meets my standards you know it has to be good. Have always had great luck with the service, and never much of a wait. Definitely my favorite place in the area for bar/pub food.
