Drive through donut shop. Need I say more? And they were busy so they sent a guy outside to take orders. Personable, friendly and I can't even describe how wonderful the kolaches are. Yum!

In my opinion donut joints either have it or not. 5 Stars may be much for the short 7 minute experience I had, but everything was perfect. A small locally owned business, drive through service, great coffee, and fresh warm donuts - what's not to like? The staff was nice to talk too and actually held a conversation while getting the order together. After grabbing my dozen donuts and a hot coffee, I was out on the road enjoying both my sweet and flavorful goods.

Hands down, the best donuts in the world!! I grew up eating these and now that I live in Texas, Dinos is a required stop on all of our visits back home. No other donuts compare. :)

Accidentally ended up driving by Dino's Donuts on my visit to Lake Charles and decided to stop by. They have a drive-thru which was convenient. I had no idea that I should've ordered a dozen or two donuts and kolaches that morning to attempt to take back to Texas with me (only half joking...). They were really that good. I was there early and got the glazed donuts when they were still warm. I'd seriously describe their donuts as heaven in your mouth. The kolaches were excellent too. The prices were really reasonable, too. The boyfriend and I finished them before we even got back to the hotel and even thought about turning around. I'll definitely stop by again next time I'm in Louisiana.

It's pretty hard to mess up a donut. Great drive-through or walk-up donut joint. The "pigs" (Pig in a Blanket / Kolachi) are good as well, and they offer them two different ways. I can never seem to get there in time to get a Bavarian cream, since I believe they only make a limited number of the specialty filled donuts and they are out when I come by. They open early, are fast, and inexpensive. Nothing bad to say other than I wish they offered a large size coffee rather than only a small. I'm a fan.
