Ok, I am not a big fan of them yelling "Welcome to Moe's". I know its a corporate motto, but enough already. Its annoying when its yelled at every person coming in, especially during lunch hour. While I am big fan of Chipotle, Moe's and Qdoba are both a few steps behind. Largely that is due to the turnover and volume, Proteins tend to linger longer in bins, as their volume is not at a level of a Chipotle. In any case, if you order chicken; it tends to be consistent across all chains. My favorite part of Moe and Qdoba are the varied options: Nachos, Quesadillas, etc. Moe's selection of add-ins are the largest and allow you to customize your meal more then most competitors. The quality, quantity of food and service at this specific location was very good. My only complaint was the taste of the salsa verde was a bit off.

It was my first time eating Moe's & from start to finish everyone was very nice & helpful. I had a homewrecker to go & was very pleased with it. I've eaten at free birds & Moe's burrito was much better in my opinion! It was rolled to perfection, didn't fall apart on me & I really liked their guacamole & queso too. Will def be back when wanting a fast burrito! :)

Always up for a Homewrecker! Basic build your own burrito with all the trimmings. They always include chips/salsa with burritos (and tacos/quesadillas, etc.), so that's a decent bonus. Of course you can add guac or queso, if you'd like.

I LOVE Moe's! I LOVE it! I visited this establishment some years ago when it was first open and I was single and still howling at the moon. At that time, and maybe I was a little jaded back then, I thought, eh, it's ah-ight...And I never went back! Last week, tired of the same ol' same ol', I decided to take the fam on out for a night here to Moe's. It was dee-licious! What the heck was I thinking when I was younger? Ah-ight? The food here is fresh and tasty as all get out! I loved my most recent visit to Moe's and I feel like a complete idiot for putting it on the back burner for all these years! We will be back to Moe's and we will be back soon! Moe's is a great family restaurant!

We drove 30 minutes out of our way on a road trip to eat here based on menu options and were very disappointed. Food was bland. Salsa not exciting or flavorful. Tried the grilled tofu which was soggy and cold and also not well seasoned. Kids meals expensive for what they got. Only saving grace was decent guac. Better off at another taco grill if that is what you are craving.

If you think this Moe's is good then go find a Chipotle or Qdoba and prepare to be blown away. Why Shreveport can't land a burrito joint is beyond me, and lacking the previously mentioned chains you'd think there'd be a line out the door at Moe's. Should have you wondering why, and once you eat here you'll understand why you are not waiting in line. How's that old quote go "fool me once shame on Moe's, fool me twice...."

I originally went here, after seeing the menu online and thinking how much it sounded like my beloved Chipotle that I left behind in Dallas. Yeah.. I was very wrong. It's basically the same concept, except everything comes with chips and salsa, however that is reflected in the price, and I'd rather get a $6 burrito with no chips vs. a 8$ with so so chips and salsa. I ordered the vegetarian burrito. Just so you know going in, everything on the menu had nifty names, that were completely lost on me. You order at the counter when you first walk in, like a subway with all the options laid out behind a glass in front of you. I got the multi-grain tortilla, and rice with black beans. The rice looked and tasted blah, and the black beans were pretty flavorless. I also heaped in some grilled onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers. These were all limp, and shriveled looking, with zero of the crispness that one might expect from a perfectly prepared veggie. To wrap it up, I also got the usual veggie fillings, lettuce tom, black olives, jalepenos, and cucumbers. This place also has tofu if that's your thing. When I sat down with my chips and salsa and burrito, the first thing that came to mind was how small it looked. 5 min later I was finished with it and looking around for something else to eat. Most of the burrito was cold with only one half of it being luke warm at best. Later in the night I fell into a food coma. This hasn't really happened to me since I gave up meat. So, I hopped online and checked the nutririon. My innocent veggie burrito was a whopping 1191 calories with 3239 mg of sodium..

Great place, cool atmosphere, original ideas like cucumbers on tacos and special deals depending on the day of the week like buy one get one free tacos all combine to make this place awesome.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
