LOVE LOVE LOVE Kevin's! My family & I go at least once a month. Always have great service, great food, and never waited longer than 15 minutes to be seated. I have been numerous times, and maybe have had one bad experience. I been eating at Kevin's since before they moved to the location on the Diversion Canal. Will continue to go. Best seafood in my opinion!

The restaurant has lost it's way. The service and food have declined over the past year. The service is slow and orders are wrong. The food is hit or miss. A recent hamburger had 2 huge pieces of gristle. The Cajun specialities are either bland or overseasoned. The étouffées and stews that used to be filled with seafood are now mostly liquid. The amount of fried seafood in the specialty platters has declined. It used to be worth a drive since the food was perfect, but now it's not. I'll try again in summer 2014 to see if they have improved food quality and quantity back to previous standards. Quite disappointed in how it has gone down.

Kevin's...is....AWESOME. The food is spot on with a nice atmosphere. Steaks have always been delicious (and a lot of the time are cooked by Kevin himself). The gator bites are a must have! The waitstaff is so friendly and sweet. The one time service was a little slow (it was a Friday and they were SLAMMED) our server was so apologetic. She was hustling her butt off to help us out. If you're in the mood for a quicker meal, or a drink, the bar area is always a ton of fun with great color commentary added by the locals that frequent the restaurant. Unsure of what to eat? Don't stress, it's all delicious. :) Last time I was there, Kevin and his wife came out to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. They were so kind and genuinely appreciative that we were patrons at their restaurant. I highly recommend this local, tucked-away restaurant if you're in the area!

Good food but terribly slow especially on Friday nights. Made all the worse by the fact that the owners fully expect people to wait that long. Only game in town so that explains the crowds.

Food is amazing! The crawfish beignets are the best anywhere! You want seafood done right this is the place!
