I take the family here often. Great poboys and no problems with service. I would recommend this place to anyone who is hungry for a poboy.

I went to juliens for lunch today the catfish plate was not good at all the fish tasted old and dry. There was chairs up in the dinning room as if they were going to close.

Faked ambiance in a strip mall, I felt it was an outsider's perspective of a Cajun dive. Food was okay, but when you're looking for some authentic Louisiana food, this didn't do it for me.

You would not want to have your car parked outside this restaurant. He does not deserve your business. He is an embarrassment to Broussard and Louisiana.

Juliens steps up the poboy level with specialty poboys, not just the average meat and cheese. Lots of choices so its sure to please everyone. They have everything from alligator, rib-eye, veal, to soft shell crab poboys. Really creative and delicious selection. Check out the menu. They also have traditional poboys with a little extra, such as the real jule, which is roast beef with chili and cheese. Only down side for me is that they serve chips with their poboys, but fries can be ordered on the side! Other than that this place has kept me satisfied for years.

3.5 stars really, but since this is mostly for their alligator sausage poboy, I feel that the bump to 4 stars is justifiable. Julien's is in a strip mall. There was nothing impressive once you went inside, although there were a number of very amusing signs by the cashier. And I think that this is for the customer's amusement since the cashier/hostess was not exactly welcoming. I don't believe she smiled the entire time we were there. Thank goodness we only ordered our sandwiches to go. So to the alligator sausage poboy. It was really very good! The only alligator sausage I had prior to this was the one that you can get at the French Market in New Orleans. Where that one was a little on the salty side, the alligator sausage at Julien's was just simply better. If you haven't tried alligator sausage before, it tastes just like a chicken sausage. What I particularly liked about this poboy is the grilled onions -- they simply enhanced the flavor of the sausage. While I will not recommend eating here (on account of the less-than-welcoming hostess), I will definitely recommend their alligator sausage poboy.

The old man, who I believe is the owner, was very rude. Won' t be back. Too many other good restaurants in the Broussard area.

I wish I could review the food but since I called at 7:40 on a Wednesday night the grill was closed??? So this review is on the rudeness of the person that answered the phone and cut me off halfway through my sentence and slammed the phone on the counter, eventually, after a few minutes she came back to tell me the grill was closed, couldn't she have told me that before making me wait ? lame

I went to Lafayette to visit my bf's family over the Christmas break, and he'd taken me to the Julien's on University early in my stay. I wanted another of those burgers before I came back to Fort Worth, and we stopped at this location on the day after Christmas to get another burger fix. This location was pretty slow on the day after Christmas - just one other (huge) party and us. Just like the other location, I loved, loved, loved my hot, fresh, juicy cheeseburger served on a po-boy bun. Fries were so fresh, hot and delicous - and kicked up a notch by sprinking some of the seasoning that's on the table. Despite the huge table next to us, we still had great service. The ambience here may not be genuine as another Yelper chose to focus on, but I found it to be pretty funny.

Try there onion rings. Skinny little things and totally delicious. The Po Boys are filled to bursting and very tasty. Little atmosphere and decidedly biased politically. I didn't appreciate the in your face notices etc. posted. I'm interested in the kitchen preparing quality food not the owners trying to prove their point!
