Nice place that oozes charm and has a good patio for enjoying the company of friends. Try the Papa's fries. Waffle fries covered in cheese and pizza sauce, wow. I also recommend the wings, go for the hot garlic sauce, its really not hot at all. The pizza is fine, it was not mind-blowing but we just had peperoni and sausage so not that exciting to begin with. I was entertained by an old man that was chatting with everyone and, while on the way to the bathroom, told one in our group to "Eat heartily, this could be your last meal." Sage advice from a senior citizen. If you're inside, you'll be able to watch at least 4 different TV's so keeping up with sports is easy. There is a full bar so if you don't like the beers on tap or in a bottle, you'll be able to find something agreeable to drink. Entertainment varies daily and the night I was there a guitar duo played some crowd pleasers but also made the patio too loud for table conversation. My negatives are: smoking... It's KY so its expected. Fortunately one can chill in the patio area and not be exposed in an enclosed setting. The service is average, but this is a sports bar kind of place and was fine for that environment.

Toms Papa Dinos Pizza is my all time fav pizza ever! They have a full bar and if your not in the mood or you have Children you can take a seat in the dinning room area. Its a local favorite and a great place to go and maybe listen to some music on the patio.

The deluxe cheeseburger was the best thing I have ever tasted. Hate that I don't live in the area, I would eat that everyday.

I ordered here for the first time. It was recommended by my property manager. I'm new to the area and decided to give it a shot. I ordered a Small Alfredo Pizza. I was told it would be at my place in 30 mins. It was one hour before I got it. In addition I was overcharged by $1.60 on my order. They charged me for the Alfredo Pasta Dinner instead of the Small Alfredo Pizza. I mentioned it to the driver and he told me not to give him a tip and he would discuss the discrepancy at the store. I called the store to inform them that it took an hour before my pizza arrived and that it wasn't very hot like most pizza places when they deliver. She offered to refund me the $1.60 but I explained that I didn't tip the driver since he told me not to that for her not to worry about it. She said she wasn't sure why it took so long for the pizza to arrive, but that they will "take care of it". Long story short, the pizza was mediocre, and I received poor customer service. Also...I ordered this at 2:34pm, not peak time.

Stumbled on this place traveling through Florence, KY. just a small mom and pop place. They brag about their sauce and pizza crust and it was just as they promised. Excellent! No frills but good food. I've eaten pizza all over the world and this ranks at the top.

What a great old pizza joint. Large pies, ample toppings and plenty of gooey cheese. Notice that I didn't say gourmet. If you are a finicky pizza eater, this may not be your joint. But if you like the old-fashioned pizzerias with fresh food and friendly faces, you'll be at home here.

While trying to decide where to eat, the other people in our party started to rave about Tom's Papa Dino's, so we decided to give it a try. There is a small indoor seating area. The place is cozy and our party of 11 took up quite a bit of space. Service was good. Their pizza wasn't my cup of tea. The pizza dough tasted similar to and had the same texture of La Rosa's. The crust at Tom's was a little bit thicker. For me this was a big disappointment. The toppings were of better quality that La Rosa's. I was starving, so I kept eating. We only tried pizza. My kids enjoyed their food. My husband thought it was okay.

Been there a few times ...and every time I get the same dark haired heavy set bartender that is rude and only interested in flipping her hair and adjusting her 3 sizes too small top. ... good food terrible service if you get her...

I've been coming here since 1977 or so, when lived in Richwood and took 25 "into town". And honestly, it hasn't changed that much inside. As a person who is opposed to severe change (like what the nieghboring Main Street business, The Stringtown did...), the fact that the faux brick paneling is still up, the entrance is the same, the counter, and the booths, appeals to the "little" me who's now 37. As far as service goes, this place has, typically 1-2 servers, and yeah, it sometimes takes a while. But it's a family run restaurant, and I don't mind taking my time when I come here with my husband and 2 year old daughter. It's nice to kick back. The wine is cheap, the beer is cheap, what more could you ask for? Now. The pizza. It's my husband's favorite, and he's an Ohio transplant who swears by the power of LaRosa's original, thin crust pizza--"like the kind you always got at Kings Island..." he says. Cheesy, gooey, with lots of sweet sauce. Apparently NOT how LaRosa's makes it today, because he refuses to get any other pizza than Tom's Papa Dino's. I like the pizza, but, I really love their hoagies, and the antipaso salad with house dressing. I can never figure out how, as a family, we leave there under $40 with a large pizza, a couple of beers, a couple of glasses of wine and a salad--very reasonable, and I'm so very glad they're still in business, just like they were when I was a kid.

I really wanted to like this place, after seeing that it got third place in the Northern Kentucky Pizza Challenge facebook.com/group.php?g… They started off with a bonus point by having a 50% coupon in the Entertainment book. I heart businesses who coupon! Anyway, I was in the mood for a just regular ol' cheese pizza, so I was definitely surprised when I phoned in my order and was told it would be 30-35 minutes. But I figured, long wait=better pizza. Sadly, when I picked it up and opened the box, it didn't look like it was worth the wait. It reminded me of school cafeteria pizza. I've seen Hot 'N Ready's look more appetizing. Then when I picked up a slice or took a bite, the cheese completely separated from the rest of it. And the taste wasn't that impressive either... just ok. Sorry Tom and/or Papa Dino, your pizza just didn't do it for me. Mio's and Dewey's are still my local favorites.

good beer place and cheap. Pizza was decent (sauce was the highlight, it was tasty) but a bit greasy. Had the ravioli which was ok - again, sauce is the highlight. Overall the food was okay -, but the service was rough. only a few folks in the main restaurant and took forever to get the food and the bill. Again, not a bad place to grab a beer (bar was real smoke filled). patio was cool in the back!

I hate that Cynthia A. had a bad experience with this pizza joint... Really... I've missed Tom's Papa Dino's while abroad... Glad to be back..!! They are a quaint little joint in Florence and I've always appreciated the friendly, home-like comforts while enjoying my za... but, as we all know, the atmosphere is NOT what brings this freak into a pizza joint..!!! I'm either trying it for the first time or I'm craving it..!!! And, I think I've established that I've been here before... This is definitely a very tasty recipe and I do get the Tom's hunger pangs from time to time... This is a must try... Just sayin'...

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
