This was our first time here. Pretty good food and the prices were good. They have a wide array of food. Most was bar type but good. There are lots of tvs and the atmosphere was casual. I recommend trying them out.

We ate here 2 nights out of 3 when we stayed in Danville - not because it was particularly stellar, but because it was close to our hotel (Comfort Suites) and they gave us 10% off with our hotel key. I had the osso bucco one night (very tender) and a burger the next. Everything was a-ok. I definitely like the main dishes better than the sides. The cracked pepper fries where surprisingly bland and limp and the cole slaw was really heavy on mayo and not much on flavor. The mixed drinks were watered down (not worth the price), but the beer was good (and they had a wide variety), although a bit pricey. Plus they didn't seem to have a happy hour. The service was pretty good. It worked, but it was just OK. They do have tons of TVs if you want to watch a game, so it is great for that!

As sports bars go, this was fairly average. I went with my mother and some of her friends before a movie. I had a turkey sandwich, and the turkey tasted a bit off, their chili however was fantastic. I highly recommend you try it.

Mallard's was the closest place to our hotel so it was an easy choice to go into and have a drink and some dinner. It seemed a little pricey for Danville but the service was decent enough. We came here twice and one night I had a burger, which was cooked just the way I like it and tasted good. The other night I had the steak, which was just ok. It was cooked good, but of the 10 ounces half of it seemed to be gristle. The staff seemed very attentive and constantly came over to ask if we were okay, which was good.
