We always get the black bean veggie burger thing. It is so good. The fries are wonderful and their sauce is amazing. I always get chocolate custard with cherries... Divine. It's hard to believe that it's fast-food. We've never eaten inside the restaurant, so I can't say anything about that. We usually stop there when we're heading elsewhere. We'll have to go in to eat sometime.

This was my first time eating at Freddy's and I was slightly disappointed by the taste of the food...particularly the flavor of the hamburger. I explain more below. Since it was my first time I decided to stay with their classic/feature menu item...a Freddy's Original double cheeseburger (more like a thicker single patty burger) w/ a side of onion rings. Service took about five minutes and the customer service was extremely friendly. I definitely commend them on their speed and friendliness of customer service. Unfortunately, while the onion rings were delicious, my burger was overly salty. Almost like they over-seasoned the meat. The veggies on the burger were nice and fresh and everything else about the burger was perfect...ruined by the saltiness. They also have a delicious "fry sauce" for dipping, like a thousand island sauce. Whether or not they were having a one-off night with my burger or, this is how they always make them, is yet to be confirmed (I'll likely give them a second chance). I'll update my review at that time. Another customer service kudos: they brought me out a complimentary chocolate shake to have for desert...a nice touch that put a smile on my face.

My family and I went to Freddie's tonight, mostly out of curiosity. Because it is still fairly new to the area, the place was understandably busy especially at 8pm. The staff was very courteous, and I was very happy to see that amongst the hordes of people waiting to order, they still managed to have some employees on the floor ensuring the tables and chairs were clean and presentable. The food was fantastic. I haven't been so pleased with a burger since I had In and Out Burger (if you had it before, you know how awesome it is). This is comparable (better, actually!), which is a huge compliment. The best part of the experience was when the staff told us the vanilla portion of the ice cream machine was not working. They apologized profusely and asked if we would settle for anything chocolate. We are super easy, so we ordered two chocolate treats, one in lieu of the pumpkin pie concrete we wanted. No issues. When we got our treats, the manager sought us out to tell us that the vanilla machine was working and asked if we still wanted the pumpkin pie concrete. We said don't worry about it, but he said it's already getting made. That's above and beyond service and it will be remembered. So, great food, fantastic service, highly, highly recommended.

We went through the drive-thru window today-ordered two "original" double burgers. Steakburgers? Where? They were so thin and overcooked to the point of being completely crispy. Terrible. I'll give them one star for fresh bun and pickles. First time eating at Freddies and probably last.

Our swim team hosted a fundraiser at Freddy's last night, which entailed Freddy's offering to donate 15% of all proceeds taken in from 5-9pm. Part of my family arrived at 7:30 & placed our orders with a welcoming & helpful server. The restaurant was very clean & our food order was ready for pickup in a timely manner. Our order consisted of burgers, chicken tenders & grilled cheese. It was all freshly cooked with a generous serving of fries. The rest of the swim team began trickling in from practice & by 8pm the restaurant was full of hungry swimmers, coaches, & their families. The Freddy's staff was consistently friendly, helpful & efficient, calling numbers over the conversing crowd, clearing tables, bringing out dessert orders people had put on hold when they placed their dinner order. Andy Burris, Freddy's manager, was working right along with his employees to ensure a fun & pleasant experience for his patrons. This burger & custard joint will continue to be a great hangout for the area.

My daughter and I swung through the drive-thru the other day, let me first say that I'm not a fan of fast food AT ALL. About twice a year I get a craving for it, and I usually totally regret it because of the almost immediate onset of the stomach ache I get from eating it. This applies to Arby's, MD's, BK, Wendy's etc. But, we were in a hurry to get somewhere and my daughter said, "all my friends said Freddy's is awesome" so in a split second decision we pulled in and ordered the double original and the double with bacon. We did not order fries or anything else, so my review is strictly on the burgers and the service. The service was great, the young lady who helped us in the drive-thru was super sweet, who doesn't love service with a smile? The burgers were really good, I mean really...great pickles, not the limp dark green nasty looking ones, crisp fresh onions and the burger had this great crusty edge. BONUS, I didn't get a nasty stomach ache an hour later, this may be a coincidence, but I doubt it. I would attribute this to the freshness of the food, but that's just a guess. Anyway, we enjoyed it.
