If you're in Wabash or coming here for a concert give this place a try. Quick service and great portions. Leslie was our server and had a great knowledge of the menu and made some excellent recommendations. The Pulled Bacon BLT WAS AMAZING!!!

Drove out of my way only to get there and be told by a rude staff that they are closed at 2 and will reopen at 5. Very disappointing to know that customers are not important to them. At least I know not to bring my customers here for dinner.

Sub par food and service. Their Greek salad wasn't Greek by any means, and the food was expensive for as little and as greasy/sub par it was. Probably won't go back. We were very disappointed. Not to mention our waitress was only nice to us when she brought out bill. Save your money and go somewhere else!

This used to be a great place to go. Not anymore!!! Whoever is running this place needs a lesson in humility. The rudeness runs amuck!!! If this Is the way they are taking advantage of the new law that just went into affect, then my patronage will be withdrawn. Discrimination at its finest!!! All that was expected was an heart felt apology!!!

What a great find! Was traveling for work and needed a place for dinner. Looked at Yelp to see what was near and decided to give this place a try. Will definitely come back when in the area. Had the Prime Rib and stuffed mushrooms-awesome choice! Service was tremendous!!!

Market street grill is your typical small town anything goes restaurant/ pub. Small town America has so many of these that look like they were trying to remodel as a faux Applebee's in 1994. Aside from the some-gimmicky / some-authentic wall flair that recalls the towns rich railroad history, it's a very modest place with a bar that divides three rooms where you can dine. The menu is far reaching though don't expect many fresh items or anything straying off the beaten path. I had a burger which was above average though nothing else piqued my interest. Onion rings were also good. They have more than bud light and miller light but not a whole lot. Actually, they spotted one tap with New Holland and another with Sun King beers which was nice. The owner was helping behind the bar and was friendly and chatty. Seemed like a good dude and said he'd only had the place a year. I can't say a whole lot more than that and the food that I had there pre-dates the new ownership. Maybe one day I'll return. Not many non chain options in town. May As well support a locally owned business.

While working in Wabash for a day my electrician recommended this place. So glad I came for dinner at the end of a long 14 hour day. Folks on street said ribs or rib eye is tops. they were right Sheryl convinced me. They are presidential category! . Wonderful fall off the bones..... Thanks chef!

Market Street is one of the best restaurants in Wabash. People come here for the steaks, award winning chili and BLT soup. My personal favorite is the Drunken Chicken. I've had some really great appetizers as a monthly special. One bad thing is they have not changed the menu once in the 10 years I've eaten there, aside from offering blue plate specials that change every month. I love the collection of local memorabilia, antiques and newspaper clippings adorning the walls. Overall good restaurant. Leave the little ones at grandma's, you have to be 18 to eat here.

If you visit the Market Street Grill, you must try the following: Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato Soup. It's unique and refreshing. Enjoy it with a fresh loaf of bread. Drunkin' Fish is a treat and you must try it when you are visiting. Comes with a couple of sides (you can have the BLT soup again!!) Dessert is just a treat and a half. Everyone at our table had a different dessert so we could try three different options. Not a bad choice on the menu! Ribs were marginal. Atmosphere is delightful with a full bar. Go and enjoy a great meal in a small, midwestern town.

Awesome atmosphere!! Great bread and chili. We always get something different here and never disappoints. We always sit at the bar and the staff and service is great.

Best food in a three county search - plus there's a no kiddie clause!! Ohhh, imagine an excellent meal with a special someone and no screaming, crying or loud children to disturb you. This isn't McDonalds so don't complain about not being able to take your "mature" children!! REFRESHING! Big fan of BLT soup, drunken chicken and chili! Good service, friendly folks and prices are decent for the quality and quantity of the meal. Not only was this THE place for our first date, but we celebrate family birthdays and anniversaries there since! And when they catered a business function, the food was just as good as having it at their restaurant! With plenty of leftovers!!!!

Wow, what a horrific experience. Aside from the hostess, we were treated with disregard like no other place ever. They were slightly busy so we sat at the bar to wait for a table, got ignored for half an hour, almost ready to leave when hostess struck up a conversation, then 15 min later were seated. Got our order after an hour and it was so disgustingly inedible we paid our crazy inflated bill and left. The drunkin' chicken they are famous for? Who made it famous? People with no taste buds? Yikes and shame on you Market Street Grill !

The pork tenderloin sandwich is huge! And, it's excellent. Friendly service & clean ladies room. Fun & funky decor. Just passing through between Indy & northern Indiana. Would do this again!

Every now and then, especially after a mediocre experience, we think that perhaps we've taken Burger Quest far enough. But then something wonderful happens! That wonderful something today was Market Street Grill in historic downtown Wabash. Formerly an industrial business in days of yore, the building has been renovated into the jewel it is today with its rich woods, memorabilia from all over the country, and classic but classy, cozy atmosphere. We had just stepped through the door when we were welcomed by our server who led us to a comfortable booth on the side opposite the barroom. In no time flat we had menus, a "specials sheet" and 2 ice cold beers and it was time to get to the business of ordering our beefy conquests. The Grill's lunch menu offers 3 styles of 1/2-lb. hand-pattied steakburgers: Marcy's Market Street Grill Burger ($9.50), Create Your own Burger ($7.99), and a Veggie Burger ($7.99). Each comes with the customer's choice of a vast array of side dishes at no extra cost. I requested Marcy's Market Street Grill Burger which was covered with Swiss & American cheeses, Marcy's own relish, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, dill pickle, mayo, ketchup & mustard. Altering this burger is NOT an option. You take it as it is or you don't get it. But we wondered why anyone would think of adding or omitting anything from this work of art. My wife chose to create my own burger, dressing it with bleu cheese, red onion, bacon and dill pickles on an onion bun. Although I couldn't find any exposed meat on my sandwich my wife's customary "bare burger bite" proved that this was among the highest quality beef we've had in all our travels as Burger Hobbyists and her topping choices enhanced it beautifully. Even through the mass of toppings on Market Street's signature burger I was amazed and quite pleased that the bold bovine flavor came out on top. We've raved about chargrilled burgers in previous reviews, but these burgers tasted as if they had actually been cooked over charcoal, our favorite cooking method, and were a true carnivore's dream. We highly recommend Market Street Grill and can't wait to return to try such temptations as the Market Street Reuben, and Beef Brisket. It was well worth the approximate hour-long drive. FYI: Full bar service is available and smoking is prohibited. No one under 18 is allowed. our server was extremely friendly and efficient and the restaurant is very clean. Life is good!

This is a great place to eat. Service is generally good, quality of food is high, large portions, and a good value. Most of the time I can make two or even three meals out of my dinner at market street.

We are locals and every date night is a Market Street night. We love the prime rib and stuffed mushrooms. Their famous orange butter with the rye bread is my favorite. Best place in town to eat by far! I always thank the owner, who is the big guy at the bar (you can't miss him) before we leave as the food is fabulous! Thanks for making our date nights yummy!!!

I had lunch today at the Market Street Grill. What a treat! I had a breaded tenderloin on a Kaiser roll(very fresh) and a bowl of their chili. The tenderloin may have been the best tenderloin I've ever had and the chili ranked right up there with the best. The Market St. grill service staff was very attentive and the ambiance of the place is worth the trip by it's self. I met a friend there having driven up from Fishers, IN. I would do it again just for the experience/food. Highly recommend if you're in the Wabash area or want a great meal with drive.

Easily the best place to eat in Wabash. The bar is a nice place to hang out while waiting for a table. Their hours are a bit hard to figure out, but I recommend the drunken chicken.

Surprisingly good restaurant for it's location. The atmosphere is relaxed and unique. The service is good and friendly, but not in a forced awkward way. The food is great. My favorite is the fried bluegill, but they don't always have it available. The onion rings are also worth trying.

I just recently moved back to Wabash--from Florida! Yep, decided it was time to enjoy the cold winters once again. Having a decent restaurant in town goes with the decision to live here and I found it at Market Street Grill! It IS the best restaurant in town. One can be amused at the clever verbage on the menu while one waits for his food, which comes in a timely, but casual fashion. A great start is the BLT soup! Yep, there is lettace in soup and it is sooooooo good. And the "foot of rings" is a must, too. If you are a hoosier, you know that the elephant ear size breaded tenderloin is the best around, and if you are not from around here, you need to try it! You will want to take the idea back to your local diner and get it on the menu! The evening meals are elegant--served up as well as any high end place in LA or NYC--and just as scrumpious! Now don't skip the dessert tray. I doubt that you will be able to eat any of it unless you boxed half of your meal, but at least buy one and let your tablemates share it with you. They are GIANT sized, homemade right there at Market Street, and are worth the full feeling you will have when you are done. My personal favorite is the coconut cream pie. Why are you still sitting here reading this? Go! Get down there! You will love it!
