Wonderful place to eat great authentic Mexican cuisine!!! I'm from Texas and this was great food!! Much, much better than a two star rating!! Our waitress, Maria is a very beautiful Chica!!

Only got one star because i cant give them 0. I Walked in with my dad for a quick beer or 2 and lunch. There was a total of 3 cars in the parking lot. We asked to be seated at the bar. Waited over 20min and not one person came to take a drink order or even ask if we have been helped yet. When we decide to go somewhere else, we walked out past the host to leave and told her that nobody has helped us, we were just givin a disgusted look by her and her coworker. And nothing was even said to us, both of them just stood there staring at us in disgust. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us at this location, in the past 2 weeks. We will not be visiting this place ever again. We will take our business elsewhere, where we can actually order our food in a prompt time frame.

I am not a big fan of Pepe's but went because that is where everyone wanted to go so I was in, and I highly doubt I will be back. I'm not a fan of the ambiance for one, I feel it is just boring. I felt that t or the restaurant didn't offer anything exciting. For dinner I ordered a chicken taco and chicken enchilada, I thought that the taste was somewhat off or maybe my taste buds were just off. I really like enchiladas and I have definitely had better from other restaurants. It's not Pepe's fault, it's just how I feel about their enchiladas. I'm not a big fan of the restaurant and the only reason I could see myself returning is if I'm with a group and it's conducive to the group size.

I have been going to Pepe's for as long as I can remember. The food is good, and each Pepe's is a stand alone store, private owners and have their own chefs. Meaning each restaurant is slightly different. The tamales are good. Rice and beans are really good. The enchilada poblanas are really good. They have great stuffed steak tacos, real grilled steak. I can't give it 5 stars because they sometimes run out of mole sauce! To me, that is a sin!

An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
