Been to the LC for lunch 3 different times and they have really good lunch specials. This is a bar that's been in Avon for several years with different owners. It is noticeable that the new owners are keeping the Caboose much cleaner than previous ownership. The food is very much improved. Service at lunch time has been spot-on. The bartender is attentive but not in your face annoying.

I ordered the BBQ chicken chop salad to go. The chicken was delicious, but the iceberg lettuce and other ingredients were swimming is ranch dressing. If your order this salad, definitely get the dressing on the side. I was also put off because this is a smoking establishment. I don't like my food prepared with the smoke filled room. Others might not mind, but I would have liked to know in advance.
