I was SURPRISED at how nice this Holiday Inn is! Because it's located next a Denny's, I expected the quality and service to be, well, Denny's-like. Truth be told, I was wrong. I came her for a July 2011 wedding and reception. Although I didn't see the hotel rooms, the banquet hall, lobby and bar area were super swank. This wedding was outdoors near a small, white gazebo. Acoustics --- speaking wise were not strong, but can probably be fixed with a mic. Chairs were set up in rows in front of the gazebo. 3-person strings played Jack Johnson, Bob Marley and the likes. It was beautiful and unexpected. The reception was inside. Open bar area and appetizer table were not the best layout for the 200 guests, but the seating arrangements inside the banquet hall were perfect. Food was buffet-style pasta, veggies, roasted meat and dinner rolls. Dance floor was spacious. Overall, great location for a 100 to 200-person wedding.

Hoped #200 would've hit the spot like so many did before it; unfortunately it fell short. For just under 30 bucks a person, hopes were high walking into their breakfast buffet. Service started out alright, but dwindled as time went by. As for the food, my only regret was that we didn't come earlier. Close to every steam tray dish was overcooked and/or dried out from sitting so long. To the contrary, pieces of their Swordfish Vera Cruz were underdone and near raw. Not much was pulled off by Willby's, aside from the made to order omelets. Breakfast Quiche - watery; Eggs Benedict - overcooked; veggie lasagna - overcooked; potatoes - dry & overcooked; salmon - dry; cheese slices - dry, crunchy; coconut pudding - no thanks. I can't recall a dish that didn't require salt and pepper either. Really hoped our Sunday brunch would've hit the spot. Unfortunately it didn't, and I think this was our last visit to Willby's, especially considering the price.

My mom had my wedding shower here after we had attended a few other events here through the years and she was sure it had what she wanted. They have a breakfast buffet with a made to order omelet station. Who doesn't love that! There were a lot of other sides and the hubby was in heaven because they had a giant bowl of peel and eat shrimp. They also have a designated extra "themed" food like Mexican or Italian. Even though the buffet is shared with the restaurant patrons, anyone booking an event can decide the theme. We had our own room that was huge. It also had it's own side door to the outside so when it was time to pack up our loot it was real easy. They also brought in a luggage cart for some of the bigger things. My mom met with them ahead of time so she could work out the details. They let her pick the tablecloths and the color of floral centerpieces. They also set up the head table and as many side tables as she wanted. They had signs at the entrance and at the room with mine and the hubby's names on them so our guests knew where to go. They also came in often to make sure we had everything we needed. My mom thought the price per person was great. All in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend this to anyone looking to hold an event.

Went there on Mother's Day for brunch. It was really bad food where nothing was even labeled so you had to take the lid off of everything just to see what it was and some things you still couldn't tell what they were, very unorganized, and a lot of staff that did nothing. The worst part was getting the bill and seeing a gratuity tip on the bill for $27, for what, all they did was get our first set of drinks which took 15 minutes after we sat just to get. Besides the fact I've never been to a buffet where a 18% tip was added on. I sure will never go back.

I've only been to this hotel for wedding receptions for now. I came here for Thanksgiving brunch with my family. To my surprise it was very, very good! I know this is a regular restaurant through the week and they have big Sunday brunch. The brunch had everything imaginable for anyones liking! Along with champagne that was quickly refilled when empty! There was a carving station with turkey, ham, prime rib, lamb, chicken, salmon, shrimp - along with a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, salads, and side dishes. The waitstaff were on their toes. Very good service! I would highly recommend Willby's!

Yeah, I'm a dork. This isn't your four star gourmet restaurant. When you enter this restaurant it's actually filled with older people. Yeah, like Grandma's age older. Considering my father is now considered a "senior citizen" at the ripe age of 61, he's officially old. He's been wanting to try this place for a while, and on Good Friday, we decided to check it out. For the mere price of $27.99 you can get all-you-can-eat snow crab legs Thurs-Saturday night. Yeah. Included in the price is an all you can eat salad bar (think old school gramma style relish buffet), choice of potato, steamed veggies and three bunches to start of crab legs. YUM! Service from our waiter was mediocre, but the bussing staff (which I tipped extra because they totally rocked) was WAY on top of things, even with the restaurant packed with whining seniors! I only made it through two plates of crab legs, but it was so worth it. Quite tasty, and overall awesome! If you're not afraid of old people, check this out!
