I'm not going to talk about quality, its a 24 hour McDonald's. But I will talk about quantity. This is reallly lame. Smallest small fries I have ever seen. They should be ashamed. And, I don't mean to say this is bad in terms of just McDonalds, but in terms of any place I've ever been. I mean those small fries bags are really small, but they don't even fill them halfway. I would never go here again. I'm sure not many people check Yelp for McDonald's anyhow, but this was so insulting I had to write a review.

The food was speedy but told the ketchup was empty. They would not refill it and would not offer a good amount of ketchup back

  • Ashley R.

Awkward set up..u have to walk around the corner in back of restaurant to find ketchup. Then there's a empty napkin holder saying to go to the front for napkins. You also xannot refill ur own soda. Friendly enough staff for mickey ds

WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THIS MC DONALD'S IF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT TO YOU AND/OR IF YOU LIKE BAD QUALITY FOOD WITH LESS THAN NORMAL PORTION SIZE!! I ordered a caramel sundae (the usual ice cream choice of mine whenever I do go to McDs). It was half the amount I normally get and was flat on the top without the swirl of ice cream that usually is topped on sundaes and caramel was also spilled all over the cup. The top of the ice cream didn't even reach the bottom of the lid and when I asked for a napkin to clean up the caramel, the teller responded with an irritated look as if I was bothering him. I normally would just let it go but was so discontent at the situation. So I told the teller at the window that the amount of ice cream in the sundae was significantly less than what I've ever seen. Thinking he was just going to apologize and correct his mistake, he did the opposite and replied "The ice cream is only supposed to reach the bottom portion of the lid so every other Mc Donald's is wrong." Really??! So every single Mc Donald's is wrong but you're right? The Mc Donald's with the negative reviews and similar complaints of poor customer service and smaller than normal portion sized servings? So I asked for a manager hoping for better customer service without the feeling of being provoked into confrontation and of course this rude, unprofessional, unkind teller is the "manager". So the conclusion of my less than pleasant experience with this particular McDs and this particular night manager was him plopping ice cream into the cup, over the caramel and not so much as an apology or thank you or any positivity whatsoever. Let's just say I left there with the most negative, unpleasant feeling. I will NEVER return to this Mc Donald's based on customer service alone.

Their customer service is up and down. Sometimes they are great and other times they are not. Lately the last few times they have not been great at all. DID SOMEONE SAY THIS IS A QUICK SERVE RESTAURANT? Well, it's not a good sign when you order from the drive thru and then asked to park your car and wait for your food. This place is also very busy during lunch hour and I would only go there if you really love waiting in long lines! ;) That includes both inside and the drive thru. NOT ALL FOOD IS CREATED EQUAL I've noticed what you receive at the drive thru is not the same if you order the same thing inside. They are much stingier with French fries and it is not as fresh. Hamburgers are not presented as well either. AT LEAST WE HAVE FREEDOM OF CHOICE! There are several other McDonald's with different franchise owners that do a better job than this one. I now go to either Mannheim & Higgins, Oakton & Lee, or River & Lee (across from the original McDonalds). I also noticed this location is not listed on their website at all. Does that say something?

I been there so many time especially Tues in the morning going to drive thru around I be ordering of my coffee I been seeming a very nice sweet girl her name is Wendy R she know wat I want for breakfast n she always thank me all the time it a shame she not a manger she will be great :)...

It took about 45 minutes to get fries and a filet-o-fish sandwich when there were only total of five people in the entire place. The McDonald's at this location definitely has some problems. Avoid this McDonald's, if possible.

  • Kelly M.

I could give no star if i could. This is literally the worst place ever. I know I should not be expecting that much of a customer service from McDonald's, but those people should not be working there. They truly need supervising. So my boyfriend and I went in there tonight and ordered large fries with our burgers. The guy gave us a small fries, so we said we ordered large fries. The guy then poured the small fries into the bigger paper container and gave it to us. My boyfriend went back and told him that this wasn't large, he gave us an attitude and said go eat it all and bring it back for refill. Are u serious????? What happened to customer service?????

  • Elizabeth R.

Updated, clean and comfortable. The staff? Awful. They are busy. I get it, but they are also adequately staffed. They are a busy location, so I am not sure what they expect. How many times did they get our order wrong? Three. Then it was still wrong. However, sometimes you just give up. Please, make the people at the register smile and a little more friendly. On a Sunday morning, you know you will have numerous people. So smile, a little. Just a little bit...

  • Ada H.

Customer service coin toss! I agree with the other Yelpers! As the reigning duchess of this location, I can say that it's really a toss up whether you'll get good service here! Even the quality of the food is a toss up. I go to any McDonald's usually for drinks such as coffee or their sweet tea, but on the occasions I do get food it's been about 50% wrong in some way. I wish I could give them 2.5 stars because that what they deserve.

  • Mitch W.

This is the worst mcdonalds I have been too. Very rude on the intercom asking if I was done after every item I mentioned. They had us pull forward and as waited at least 10 minutes for a very simple order for two people. The order was wrong and I could get no one to help me fix it so I moved on. Plenty of other options in this area to make this mistake again.

  • Ivy W.

I've been to this location a couple of times, always while on business in Chicago and staying in Rosemont. Most recently in May, I came here for breakfast and had no problems. We had a group of 8 people and we all got our food quickly. I tried the Egg White Delight for the first time, and it's actually pretty good considering I've never like egg yolk. I've never had a problem with service, as other reviewers have mentioned, so I'll just consider myself lucky.

  • Samantha V.

Ok, after my short experience, I looked at reviews and apparently this is McDonald's is run by a cheap skate. You know when you see on tv or hear on the radio "Available at Participating Locations"? Well, this location is apparently NOT a participating location. They don't even participate in the 49 cent ice cream cone promotion. Really? You're going to charge the full $1.29 for an ice cream cone? Please, I'd rather spend more and get better quality ice cream elsewhere. I got a strawberry banana smoothie, and I thought it came with whipped cream...it SHOULD come with whipped cream, if you ask me...but it doesn't. I asked if I could get some and they were like "Well, I'll have to charge you 30 cents..." Seriously? I bet they charge for dipping sauces and ketchup too...well I'll never find out, because I will not be returning to this location. It's a silly reason, I suppose, but if you're going to be petty about promotions and whipped cream, I'll go somewhere else where they appreciate my business enough to make sure I'm happy.

Wish I could rate 0. My husband and I arrived at drive thru around 12 30am on Saturday May 4th... We had just landed at ohare and were starving. My husband accidentally pulled past the 1st window and the drive up man started swearing up a storm... "fucking drive right past...etc..." as we backed up to pay... he didn't seem to care that we heard. he was so rude.. If it were me driving I would have left. My husband gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought "he hates his job" ... frankly if I were to do that at my job... I wouldn't have a job. Poor quality mcdonalds.

  • Mike S.

This used to be McDonalds with a fast drive thru. Unfortunately today I went through the drive thru and took me almost 10 minutes to get my number 3 meal. They did not have the second window open and my order was incorrect. A simple thing like a coffee with cream and sweetener was done incorrectly. My sandwich was warm but not hot. the biscuit was hard on the bottom. I am very disappointed in what used to be several years ago very good McDonalds. Now it is anything but good.

  • John S.

I come to this McDonald's a couple times a week in the morning time, always the drive threw. Service is usually fast, but have had several errors on my orders and the workers at the window are not too friendly and apologetic like they should be when something goes wrong...

  • CATHERINE C.

I really wish that I could give this place NO stars!! Unfortunately, when I need my Mc D's fix its the closest one to work. I get the same order at least once a week and its wrong 85% of the time.. I ask for regular coke... and get diet.. No lettuce... and get lettuce... this place is just awful. The last time I was here the lady over the speaker was actually yelling at me... I will NEVER go here again.. I'll just drive the extra 10 minutes to Schiller Park

  • Luke S.

I have to hate on this place, because it is the only McDonald's in the Chicagoland Region that no longer offers $1 diet cokes (with exception to the tollways/Rock&Roll). My other gripe is that the drive through gets congested and there are times where I have had to drive off, because of the wait. Hopefully they can improve, as it's a great spot to get a drink before hoping on a flight.

  • Roxanne A.

This is one of few cheap eats near the convention center. It's a bit of walk from the convention center area. Be warned that the prices here are higher than your typical McDonald's in Chicago. You are better off driving, if possible, if staying at a hotel next to the convention center. One bonus here though is that there is a 4 McNugget you can add on to a meal for $1.29.

I HATE this mcdonalds with the fire of a million burning suns!!! I went against my better judgement and/or got too lazy to drive to the farther McDs. I went to the ATM otw and took out two 20 dollars bills (i have no other cash on me i dont even have anything with me but my temp debit card) order about $4 worth of food hand rude girl at the driveup window a TWENTY DOLLAR BILL. she hands me back about six bucks. I say "I'm sorry but you owe me more I handed you a twenty" She proceeds to stare at me like I have 5 heads and looks down at her cash register for a few seconds like its magically gonna talk and tell what I gave her. Then she goes into raging see u next tuesday mode. With an extreme attitude "NO you did NOT you gave me a ten!!!" I explained I had just gone to the ATM that she was mistaken and she says she will look on the camera and prove me wrong and I would have to pull up and wait. So I pull up furious and wait for over TEN MINUTES while my food gets cold!!!!! So after waiting forever another girl walks out and hands me a 10 dollar bill and starts to turn around towards the door. So I say "WAIT!!!! isn't she going to come out and apologize for being so rude and trying to rip me off ???" and the girl says "uh I dont know" and walks back into the mcdonalds. WOW.

I don't care what anyone says. McGriddles while waiting for an airplane in the morning is a gift from God. O'hare Airport, Terminal 1, Concourse B (17277) was my savior today. Clean, fast, and efficient. A 6 register SPOC store, everything ran very smoothly, and the McGriddles were also up to speed. Food coma time.
