Best Chinese food I've tasted in Naperville. Don't be put off by the fact that their English isn't so great. Food is delicious.

My experience at Yin's Wok is always great food and great service (delivery or pickup) at a great price. I have had many things on the menu and find them all to be delicious. This is a meal for my family at least once per week! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in South Naperville.

Ordered two items after a few bites of each I had to throw them in the garbage, because it was the saltiest food I have ever put in my mouth. The fried rice was soggy mush ...... Yuck food is to salty

This place is just ok. It is right around the corner from my Dad's house so he orders from here quite often. We usually pick up rather than get delivery. The food is just alright. It seems pretty overpriced for just average Chinese food. However, I haven't eaten takeout from any other places in the area yet so I don't have much to compare it to around here.

Typical chinese carryout, better than the "taste of china" down the street but nothing remarkable. Pick up a carry out menu and use the coupons printed on it. Fast and reliable. Just not memorable.

This is our "go-to" place for Chinese take out and it is pretty typical. It is convenient for me as I can walk here from my house and I often do on a nice night. Nothing spectacular but consistently good. Truth is I have not found any place I like better than Yin's Wok that is near me. So until I do I will keep walking to Yin's Wok for Chinese take out!

We ordered carry-out last night. The food is absolutely what I would expect from a suburban Chinese restaurant that deals primarily in delivery/carry-out. The service, however, was actually fantastic. The woman I dealt with on the phone was polite and courteous. When I arrived to pick up my food, she was friendly and made conversation. Our order was right on time as promised. Usually, I dread ordering out from most Chinese restaurants but Yin's Wok was a pleasant experience. We ordered the Triple Green Jade with Chicken, Mongolian Beef (which my fiance loved and gobbled up), and an egg roll. I would definitely order out again and recommend a visit if you are looking for standard fair with decent prices and polite service.

We ordered put from here a couple nights ago. Governors Chicken, shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. The family enjoyed the meal and service was friendly, portions were smaller than those you may get closer to Chicago. Price was fair. A good experience overall

Not great. Kind of bland tasting- the food lacks any real flavor. But, there really aren't any other decent Chinese restaurants in the area :-(

This Monday both our normal places were closed so we figured might as well give it a shot. Food was about 1/3 more expensive than our normal places and the food had bad or no taste. The orange chicken sauce was as thick as paste and paste would have tasted better. The Hawaiian fried rice was basically white rice with ham and Pineapple tossed into it. It had no flavor at all. The only item we had that was slightly edible was the crab Rangoon. We will not eat here again.

We have ordered here a couple times and I would rate their food a C. The woman who runs the place is very curt and at times rude. Our last order was over $100 and when my husband went to pick it up they were running behind. She chastised him that it was our fault her other customers had to wait because she only has one cook on Wednesdays. I will NEVER order from this place ever again!

I would not wish this food on my worst enemy. I chose this place because it was right down the street from my daughters basketball game and open until 9:30 (half hour later than most). The egg drop soup was so salty and cloudy. The pork fried rice was so bland that it needed a ton of soy and a ton less grease. But the chicken egg foo young is the kicker to the meal. The patties were burnt on the bottom and had a ton of non traditional veggies that threw off the taste. The sauce was not traditional egg foo young sauce. It was a thin, liquid broth that was sweet with veggies in it. In a word, horrible. Where was the thick sauce that covers the patties? This one will likely stick with me for days. Can't say enough bad things about it.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
