Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

This place is something else. I don't really know how to describe it. But it's not too good. $5 to get in. Not off to a good start. $5 to get into some okay bar in Joliet. I'm assuming it was for the band that was playing but still I don't think it was worth it. Don't get me wrong, I love bars that have live music, but if it's just an okay band playing a bunch of mediocre covers, it can be kind of annoying. The best part about this place was the prices. Lots of drinks for little money. Nice. The bartender we had actually was pretty good when I think about it. She was always there when we needed her despite the over-crowded bar. That's always a plus. But other than that, this place is really nothing special and I have no desire to come back...okay...maybe a little, it is really cheap but there's all the other stuff bringing it down. So UNIMPRESSED...

Went here the other night to join a couple of friends who were eating there to have a drink. We were forced to pay a cover for a band that had not even started by the time we left. We asked for the money back as we had not intended to watch them as well as they had not started. The bouncer who charged us said he could give us an X so we could get back in. We explained to him that we were not coming back so writing on us would not be necessary. He was a total meat head but that is to be expected at Jameson's where on the weekends there is an excess of hair gel and total douchebaggery. I never liked it to begin with, now I just like it less.

My new boss and friend brought me here for my first work lunch. Despite the lunch hour, food came out quickly. The food was good though I think I would have to try something else another time just to be a little more detailed

To the manager at Jameson's tonight August 3: If the kitchen is busy, seat people and explain that there will be a delay. Don't make them wait in the lobby for 15 minutes staring at 6-7 empty tables. But thank you, it gave us a chance to discover Hamburgerseria.

Nice sports pub, clean and relaxing atmosphere at dinnertime. Had the Jameson Chimichanga (chicken) which was HUGE but not as spicy as I'd hoped. Nice, friendly wait staff, recommended.

Good bar atmosphere, cute & friendly bartenders, and tons of TV's. Typical pub fare, but large portions. I've had a couple of misses here, but mostly decent tasting food. Decent weekly specials.

I called to order 2 classic burgers to-go. There person who answered the phone was very pleasant and efficient. The burgers were a nice size, cooked well and tasty. The sides of fries/onion rings were generous. Overall it was a very nice experience. i would order from them again.

Turn music off on us at 12:50 due to what we consider too many black people in building. Was in parking lot and heard great music playing then soon as our party walked in the music changed drastically. Won't be coming back here anymore!

  • Theresa D.

I'm giving a star each for the cute, friendly wait staff and the above-average bar food. the owner, however, is a total ass. my stepmother and I sent our drinks back because they were so watered down and tasteless, and the owner came over and literally yelled at us. this man was waving his arms around telling us we don't know what a drink should taste like and that everything with ice in it has no flavor. our server was so sweet and apologetic, and she explained that he was defensive because a lot of drinks were being returned for the same reason. this is a cheap man with no customer service skills who has no business running a bar. I hope he never wonders why he's lost so many customers.

I'm reviewing lunch here*** Good service, not to crowded, great food both times I've been in the last few weeks. First time I had buffalo chicken sandwich which was awesome. Just lightly fried, soaked in sauce, and I had the blue cheese on it instead of the ranch. I like they have cottage cheese as an option for a side. You don't find that very often anymore. Then today Monday, they have a $4 burger special. The burger was great, not better then Penalty Box but it was a good burger that I will order again there. Over all a nice place for lunch, good beer selection, and good food. Service on my two visits was great as well.

We ate lunch here last week because I had a taste for a rueben and people gave them great reviews. First off I asked the waitress if the rye bread had seeds she paused and said yes it's marble rye it has seeds and so does our wheat bread. What planet is she from?! Once my sandwich came to me )on white bread because it's the only one with no seeds they carry ha) the meet was brown. Yes, BROWN and thin as paper I wish I would have taken a picture. I took one bite it tasted like corned beef hash. Couldn't have been more then 1 tablespoon of sauerkraut on it. I didn't want to complain but when she asked if she could wrap my sandwich I said no thank you the sandwich was horrible. She never even offered a manager to come over. Hence the $2 tip I gave her. I'm glad I didn't get food poisoning. Waste of $8.50!!!!

I'm writing this review to kill time while waiting for my food, since the deafening music makes conversation with my dinner companions impossible, and my beer glass had been empty for the last ten minutes. Full disclosure: I'm already irritated because because the beer selection is so poor. I asked, "What beer do you have?" The waitress replied, "OMG, soooo many beers!! Like, HUNDREDS of bottles!" So I said, "Great! How about something Polish?" And she responded, "Uhh.. No. What Polish beers even are there?" So I said, "How about something local?" Her: *shaking head slowly* "Uhhh... NO?" And it just went on like that. The food was pretty good. Aside from knowing nothing about beer, the service was fair. Bottom line: this is a shitty college bar with three times the normal capital investment of a standard shitty college bar, trying to make itself look like a respectable restaurant. You get more ambience and local color at Applebee's. Skip this place, unless you're trying to get laid.

This is our favorite lunch and cocktail stop in Joliet. We love the straight up grilled shrimp, best in town. Soups and sandwiches are very good also. The chicken and bacon Panini is my favorite. Thank you for serving Myers Rum also. Most restaurants in the Joliet area have only cheap young crowd rums. My wife Sara's favorite it the Asian salad. 12:00 PM through 7:00 PM is the best time to visit due to the later and loud crowd that builds up through the evening.

  • Joshua L.

Duane B. isn't lying. Cab driver said this joint is a cop or fireman's bar, which would explain a lot. Bouncer said we were getting the boot because their license stopped at 1 am if they didn't have a DJ. Uh-huh, right. Because that's a thing. It CLEARLY got too dark for someone. Why else would 2 cops show up and cruise the darker corner then help clear the bar of the 40+ patrons? If you find yourself in Joliet, odds are you'll need a drink. Do yourself a favor and don't go here. There are plenty of other, better places just down the road.

Stop by here for a meeting. Not to crowded when we arrived at 5 but within the hour it filled up fast. Inside is nice, layout is pretty opened so you do not feel crowded. Good size bar for sitting around. The out door patio was nice and large also. Our server was prompt and we ordered some beverages and asked to hold off on food as we were discussing. Server had no problem checked back but seen we were still working. All good. We did order and I had the Burger Wrap and coleslaw. By mistake they brought out fries but immediately went back and got my slaw. The burger wrap was ok, a bit to dry. the fries were ok but I normally do not eat them, the slaw was good. Not a bad place to grab a bite to eat and a drink.

Ah, Jameson's. We live within about half a mile of this bar, so we've gone a few times when friends are in town or someone wants to go to a bar. As Joliet bars go, I'd give most of them one star, so the two stars is actually a complement. The population is mostly single early twenty-somethings who want to rub up on another single person and get wasted. Not a depressing bar full of aging alcoholics, so that's a plus around here! The food is OK...better than most bars around here! The music is LOUD. Like, nightclub loud, not bar loud. Forget having a conversation if you're there after about 8pm. The waitresses are mostly interested in helping men who will tip profusely because of skimpy clothes. A coed group? You might get refills. You might not. Here's what confuses me. Like I said, I live half a mile from there. We don't generally hear the music, but every once in awhile on like a Wednesday or Thursday night, we'll hear it loud and clear, every word, through closed windows. What's up with that, Jameson's? If it were the weekend, I'd accept that it's all part of living near a bar, but why in the middle of the week, and no other time? Anywho, I also want to thank Jameson's for reminding me periodically that I am much too old for the bar scene, and glad I didn't live my college years in Joliet.

Visited this place last Wednesday and tried one of their $10 Steaks with a Baked Potato and Grilled Vegetables and was pleasantly surprised that a Pub cooked my steak a perfect medium and was extremely flavorful. My wife was into the $4 Martinis but also tried a salad that was big enough for her lunch tomorrow. I've been there a couple of times and never been disappointed with their food or service

Good food at reasonable prices. The chicken n rice soup is great, the burgers are tasty, the pasta salad is fresh and good. Bar area can be loud most of the time. Service is mediocre.

This was the 2nd time I've eaten at Jameson's (Joliet location). The first time I came was during the week, a business dinner, and all was just fine. Today was a Fathers Day outing. My husband had just worked a 12 hour shift and our kids had been waiting all day to take HIM out and treat him to a good meal! Our waitress was nice enough, and admitted she was quite new. We put in our drinks, appetizer & dinner order at once, then waited, waited and WAITED for each bit of it. My husband and I ordered margaritas. His was a regular flavor and it was the weakest flavored margarita both of us had ever experienced. Mine was strawberry-flavored and better tasting. After quite a while, and all our drinks more than half empty, our appetizers came. More than half an hour after that, our food was still not there! The waitress had only 3 tables, including ours. Everyone else was getting their food but us. Our kids were losing patience, and we were getting really annoyed! We were supposed to be getting to a movie and were worried about running out of time. Finally, we decided to leave. As we started walking away from our table, the food finally arrived, an hour after ordering!!! As our kids were starving, we decided to stay 10 minutes and let them get some food into their stomachs before racing to the movies. We took everything to go. There was no ketchup for our fries, NAPKINS, only 2 place settings & no other condiments were offered! (I'd ordered the tuna steak burger and it was quite dry...) That bill HURT to pay as I did not feel it was AT ALL WORTH IT. We complained to the hostess upon leaving, who smiled and weakly said, "Sorry...". No offer to see the manager, nothing. We ended up scarfing our food down in the car on the way to the theater. I hope the staff at Jameson's reads this and at least realizes that going out to dinner is truly a treat for some of us, and we can not afford to be so disappointed. Never, ever again.

Women's bathroom is disgusting. The chair has been broken for about a year. Steak is a bit bland, and the Jamaican jerk chicken is too saucy (they should just use a dry rub instead).

Good soup. I had the fish tacos and tuna steak during lent. They were great. They need more servers. We have always had a server that had way too many table because there was no extra staff during normal busy lunch time. Full bar is nice. they say they are an Irish Pub. It would be nice to see something other then Irish whiskey on the menu. Fish and Chips is British people. Not Irish.

SUNAYS IS $1 bottles & $9 16" one topping pizzas. BEST IN TOWN! For not being a pizza place, they make amazing pizzas. additional toppings are only 50cents unlike pizza places that charge you $1.50+. I like sitting at the bar so Im close to the flatscreen tv's. I try going every Sunday I can.

Went here with friends who go all the time, I'm not sure why. We had a slow waitress even though the place was more then half empty. The food was okay, nothing great but not bad. The music was deafening and terrible unless of course you went there thinking it was a rave. Seriously all it needed was black lights and glow sticks. It was the Thursday before race weekend so I am not sure if that is why all of the girls were dressed like strippers but seriously not what I want to be looking at while trying to eat. Would not go back and would suggest you don't either.

The food at Jameson's is pretty decent, not out of this world, but also not terrible. The issue I have is how the young waitresses apparently have to put of with pervy patrons and managers. I was recently eating dinner on a Wednesday there and the group I was with couldn't help but notice all the waitresses congregated around the bar and a man kept talking to them and occasionally touching them, I do not want to give my money to an establishment that promotes chauvinistic behavior from the owners down. I've also heard the owners have a mentality of 'too big to fail' with also owning Skooters and seem to think that being assholes is not an issue. I once witnessed one of the owners yelling at a worker in front of the entire bar. (not okay)

Jameson's pub is a decent place to go to hang with a group of friends. The atmosphere changes depending on which night of the week you are there. It gets pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights, slower during the week, and dead on Sunday night. The food is good. The wraps are delicious. The steak is below average and not worth the money. The appetizers are average. The service is slow. Drinks are often left empty for a lengthy amount of time, leaving you to debate whether you should go up to the bar... even on those Sunday nights. Also, on the busy nights, it's good to know the bartenders. The newly painted and decorated walls make for a more warm and friendly environment. It's a nice touch. The location is nice, and the outside patio area is spacious.

Went here to watch the UFC fight before a concert and I didn't know what to expect at first. The $5 cover was not cool, especially since the fight was only $50 on pay-per-view, and there was clearly over 100 people in there..... the place made back that $50 and then some! I headed to the back of there where I was told to go for the private bar and sat down expecting the rest of the night to also cost me an arm and a leg. $3 for a Budlight? Wait, that's not right..... it must be a special..... "Nope"...... Sweet. The bar tender was very nice, patient, and right on top of an empty beer. I ordered shots for those around me, and was only charged for a few - and when the manger (or owner, i forget) came by, he acted like we were old friends...... i've never met this guy before! Fun place, great way to spend a Sat. night if you're in the Joliet area.

We went during happy hour and there were cheap appetizers to order so that is a plus. We ordered several different appetizers for half price, along with a few beers, so I definitely want to go back.

3.5 stars but all the negative reviews made me round up out of pity. We went strictly for the food and there was no nightlife event going on. The service was great! Our waitress, Stella had a diminished eastern European accent and was totally on point. Beverages never got below half way and she was super friendly. We started with nachos and they were pretty good. I was impressed by the fresh jalepenos. Then we thought since this was our first time we'd try the title burger, "the jamenson burger". This is a whole pound burger on a mega bun, clearly this was the after cooked weight because this burger was as big as my head (see photo). The burger was actually great, topped with cheddar, onions, and bippity boppity BACON! Good service, good food. I'll be back (and I'll use my Terminator voice).

I don't know what it is about this place, but it seems everyone I know loves this place but me. I have given this place countless times to do be a solid restaurant but it just keeps on disappointing me. Whatever you do, do not order the turkey burger....I repeat do not order. The thing is undercooked, did not fit on the bun (like 2 inches off all the way around), and was still mushy! (gross). The fries are thin like shoestring, but have absolutely no seasoning/salt on them whatsoever--so if you like those types of fries, then go for it. I tried the grecian style steak once attempting to give them a second chance, and the thing was just a poor cut of skirt steak doused in garlic. I could barely taste the thing there was so much garlic sauteed on this thing. The third time I tried chicken fingers. Really, who could screw that up? You know those frozen chicken fingers that when you overcook them they are shriveled up and all you taste is the hard breading? This is them...but served with overcooked/burnt french fries. I last tried this place a couple weeks ago when my friend wanted to go there. They had a good burger special for $4. How could I resist? The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were plain, but not over/under cooked. Like most sports bars in joliet, the food kinda sucks but the atmosphere on a weekend and drinking is not bad. The drinks are a little overpriced on the weekends but not as bad as Heroes. If you are looking for good food, I'd say stick to the salads (i hear they are amazing), and come for the bar on a weekend (if you feel like paying a $5 cover).
