I go to this Wendy's when I pass through Des Moines, about 4-5 times a year. The restaurant itself is clean, and the staff are usually friendly. But every time I order food at this Wendy's, it takes over 10-15 minutes to get it, whether I order 2 items or 5 items. And this is very annoying. The food I receive is generally hot, fresh, and tasty, but the ticket times are outrageous.

If you've got plenty of time and like cold food this place is for you. I lived near this Wendy's for a couple years and after my 7th or 8th try I finally gave up on this location. Service is extremely slow. Expect to wait 15 minutes plus in the drive thru if there is more than 1 car, don't even bother if there are more than 2 cars already in line. The food always seems cold, which really makes me wonder why it takes so long to get people through if they already have mass quantities pre-made.

Never have I had such terrible service at a Wendy's then I had at this location. I continue to give this location second chances but always seems to be a huge let down. Excessive drive-thru waits and now they're out of all diet Pops. How the eff can you run out of all your diet pops? What a huge let down! Avoid this location at all costs especially if you're on a lunch break.

Went to this Wendy's tonight and there was only one person in line in front of me. Took five minutes before I could place my order as counter help was new. I can forgive that. Took 15 minutes before the person who ordered after me got his food. I had to go to counter and show my receipt. They lost my ticket. Just asked for my money back because manager was yelling at staff previous to my interaction with her. Walked over to Cracker Barrel. Was seated, ordered and had food in same amount of time. Won't go back to this Wendy's.

The acually restront was very clean and fresh, the staff was also very nice also. One even came over to us and asked how every thing was like a waiter. I would have loved to give it a much higher rating but some of the food was offile. The french fries where not cooked fully so they where almost saggie and tasted bland. Also the bake potato had some dark spots in it which made it look like it might have acually been fairly old. Other than those two things every thing else was great!
