OK - take a guy originally from LA and put him in Maui and have him see that there's a Carl's Jr. between Kihei and Lahaina and he truly is in paradise! Many people from LA gush over In-N-Out Burger but there's just something about a Carl's Jr burger that has the taste of home for someone who's been away for years! We went through the drive-thru 2x - Super Cheeseburger and Steak House Burger one time, and then Big Carl and Steak House Burger the next time - completely happy camper both times. Delicious! Just like he remembered it! Service was quick; we got plenty of napkins, the burgers tasted wonderful just like ol' times. He had them completely devoured before Mile Marker 14 (great beach / snorkeling spot)

Love the Low Carb Burgers with the salad condiment bar (Pico de Gallo, Jalapenos). This is in a Chevron Station. The seating is tight, lots going on, restrooms is disgusting, and hearing a woman talk about the Woman's Restroom I would say that it was not much better. The burgers were good and it hit the spot.

OMG!!! Love the fact that I had to travel 5,000 miles to get to Carl's! Thank God there is one here on the island. I settled for the ...can't remember...#1 (?) on the way to the airport and I was so bummed I did not get the double! Yes, that is how delish it was. The burgers are just so tasty for a fast food burger...chargrilled...with fries... So yummy I was bummed to leave the Maui :( But all good things must come to an end. Will be stopping by here on my next trip out to the best islands in the world.

Okay.. So it's a Carls Jr.In Paradise!! So why does the price have to be so out of this world! We went there for a quick dinner and normally when we get a bean and cheese burrito in the mainland it is $1.29... But in 'paradise' it is $4.89!! Now I understand its a little more expensive here but come on!!! It's fast food! Right ?? Food was okay but the price was too much. It cost us over $20 bucks for 4 burritos.. Too much.

We had the unfortunate experience of trying a Carls Jr on the island thinking it would be alright even though everything on the menu was $2-3 more than on the mainland. Our country breakfast burrito was folded badly, I think Helen Keller could have wrapped this better. Everything was falling out everywhere, seriously, worst burrito I've ever had.

Worst food on the island hands down. Stopped for a quick burger and it tasted like it was 3 weeks old. The very next day I was sick with food poisoning and attributed it straight from this Carl's Jr's. AVOID THIS PLACE

One of my favorite fast food chains on the island. I only wish they were located closer to town. I would have rated 5 stars, but there's usually quite a wait for the food. However the staff is decent and the food tastes good.

I got a Carls Jr. gift card for my birthday. I went to Carls Jr. to get lunch gave them my gift card and they said there is no money left on the card. I called the number on the back and just as I thought there is money left on the card but they would not honor my card!

What a waste of time! The employees seemed to have no idea what they were doing. There weren't even that many orders going and it took about 20 minutes to get my order (just chicken tenders). Everyone else was also becoming very frustrated with the wait, as no one's food seemed to be coming out. The whole point of fast food is to be fast, so I would recommend avoiding this place.

I made the mistake of trying to eat her again and wow even worse than the first time, a sopping wet burrito, never again

The best fast food joint on the island! Burgers are flame broiled high quality beef with great selection of types. The Mexican menu is also great and so much better than "The Bell". Located along highway 30 is a little out if the way but in between central Maui and Lahaina near the ocean center. A little more pricey than most fast food joints but worth the extra money.

Located in the middle of nowhere (Ma'alaea,) I still will make the short trek to fix my CJ craving. FOOD: The Big Carl - Awesome. This was honestly the best burger I've eaten from a fast-food place here in Maui. It's almost up there with the Double Double from In N Out. Original Six Dollar Burger - More like $11+ for the combo. The 1/2 lb. single patty burger has great flavor and topped with their slightly sweet & tangy sauce. SERVICE: Semi-fast and friendly. TIP: This location has a very limited menu. Certain options listed on the website are not available. Call before heading down. OVERALL: I'm glad they're doing good in their location (they must be cause they've been open for a few years now,) but I wish they'd open up shop in more populous areas like Kahului, Kihei and Lahaina. Very over priced.

The employees were friendly and attentive despite the fact that this location was understaffed by 2 to 3 employees. We waited 15 minutes for a single order of fries. The menu is so all over the place with options I am surprised any order is completed under five minutes.

I wish they had another carls jr on the island...the food is good but thats it...they dont smile and tell you hi they just stare and say are you ready to order..its not like they were busy or anything seeing four people was just standing there...maybe it just depends on whos working. Went there twice before and they were nice and friendly...

I like this because it's the only Carl's on Maui. We can use more chain retsurants here. I like their food from time to time. The staff are nice, and the food and the restaurant itself appears to be clean at all times. This, to me, is a better choise than other fast foods on Maui.

Carl's Jr in Maui -- you can expect the same great menu and taste. This location is also clean and makes for a great pitstop on the way to Lahaina . The prices do seem to be a bit higher than they are on the mainland, but dining out in Maui is generally pricy--so a meal for two under $20 bucks doesn't seem unreasonable. I'm also going to plug the best sandwich ever...Santa Fe chicken sandwich...oh how I love thy!

This marks the first time I've ate at a Carls Jr., conveniently located near the condo that my group rented. My Superstar with cheese meal, along with medium fries and a medium Dr. Pepper that I had was as delicious as is. It feels like eating at Dairy Queen! The service of staff was good, and everyone's food was all good. Would go back there to try something else.

I love to come here for the super yummy criss-cut fries and the turkey burgers! The shakes are expensive but they're DELICIOUS! If you're getting any of these three items I highly recommend them. It's a long wait for fast food so just keep that in mind, like 20 minutes or so.

Carl's Junior is located in Maalaea Village. In doing my search for it I found out the name is not Carl Junior's like I thought but Carl's Junior. Got it! We stopped by here in between meals because for some reason even though we ate a lot on Maui we were always hungry. We were on our way to the Maalaea Harbor for a boat trip. We saw a Carl Junior's and know we don't have any in NYC so we just stopped by the get a "snack" in the afternoon. The address is listed as 300 Maalaea Rd, Wailuku, HI 96793-5917. So I guess this is the right one. But the address makes it confusing. Here is another address I found listed for Carl's Junior in Maalaea 15 Kapoli St Wailuku, Hawaii 96793-5925 Carrier Route: R001 Whatever the address is it is before you get to the Harbor. It is nothing you have to go out of your way to eat but we had never had a Carl's in NYC so we figured we might as well try it. My husband had a burger and I had a chicken or fish sandwich. It wasn't memorable just a typical fast food meal. Unlike McDonald's on Maui it did not have a special Hawaiian menu. Just the typical fast food menu you would find on the main land. But it isn't bad and on Maui where everything is expensive if you are on a budget it is an option.

Some people like sloppy burgers with the inard' juices running down your elbow..not me.I still subscribed to the fact that a burger should not be enjoyed with a spoon and a roll of papertowel. This location provided a quick and not so cheap lunch while on the Island road. The food, despite having to eat it in record time before the bun dissolved, was basically good. Fries were a bit chewy..and dry. Sittin' to long. I've eaten at other CJ's that turn out good service and product that is in the slap-it-together-and-throw-it-at-the-customer catagory. But, this location really needs a bit of a going over and inspection by Headquarters. THe place was a pit. I heard complaints about the restrooms. (I love young kids...no social correctness. One boy, about 5-6 years old came running out of the restroom yelling to his mom across the room about "stinky toilet") The garbage containers were full and literally overflowing. People (me included) were just tossing trays full of post-dining refuse on top of the heap and leaving. No place else to put it..The tables in the dining area hadn't been cleaned in hours, or so it looked. The staff was doing the job sort of, but clearly no manager was doing theirs. You wonder why Mickey D's continues to be #1..the answer: Consistancy, regardless of the location. Carls needs to take a look at that part of their biz model..

The food tastes completely different here than on the mainland. We grabbed drive-thru on the way home from the harbor and it was inedible. Even the iced tea tasted weird. We should have skipped it and just gone local.
