For Wahiawa this is the fastest fast food place in the city. Yes, it has flaws, but not to many. Every time I ask for a huge order they make it so fast. Some of the workers here are one of a kind. To include Penny, and some other who have been here awhile. They actual made my coffee right lol.... very unusual for any fast for resturant. Other day I ate inside and lady that worked inside constantly stold by drinking fountain and cleaned it instantly after someone used it. Napkins always full, ketsup, and ice there too. One of the machines was out. The bathrooms average clean. A few homeless people roam around outside, and once in awhile ask for money, but they were all good people too. Busy roads going in and out of parking lot and constantly filled with traffic. Their ice cream cones are good, but they are always out of the chocolate topping....why? Most of the time they put fresh french fries down. Morning and afternoon shifts service way better then night shift. Warning ahead of time so you are not sitting in drive thru forever. Night shift slow... Ordered small order and made me pull to the waiting parking spot. Normally in morning it was instant. I wasn't making any special requests on order either.

The Staff here was AMAZING. I'm not sure if we were just lucky, but went with my best friend and their children. The worker was patient while the kids were being kids, acting crazy and asking for everything they could see. When their order was made, my friend took his kids to the private booths they have (I love private booths), to get the kids settled. To our surprise, the worker ( I believe her name was Dean or Deana) came around the corner and delivered our order to our table! AWESOME! She went above and beyond to help with the kids and provide napkins and straws and she was just AWESOME! Great Experience! All in All=Best McDonalds EVER!

I wish I could put negative star's for this location, it's 11:05pm I was in this drive thru waiting for my food and it's not even busy? I can hear a while lot of laughing from the inside from workers .there is absolutely no urgency with the workers here.I able to text all this whole I sit at the window waiting for my food and it's now going on 15 minutes at the pick up window!?!? GET YOUR SH#T TOGETHER

Recommended not good to go after 12pm cuz lord have mercy they sort of take long. But at least they make ur burgers fresh.

  • Alejandra F.

I was reluctant to come to this location because of the reviews, but decided to anyway, since it's closest to where I live. It is just McDonalds, but the service is always friendly, my food is always hot, and I've never had anything missing from my order.

    (4)
  • Alex O.

The building is clean, the employees are friendly, the parking lot is easy to navigate and it's easy to find parking. By now you may be asking yourself why I only gave two stars. It's because every time I ate there, there was at least one person soliciting inside, as I was eating. That bothers me enough that all the good aspects of this place becomes less noticeable.

  • Ashley H.

Husband & I like to grab late night junk food here sometimes after work! Fries are always hot & fresh & drive through employee are always friendly! Always appears clean. Wish they had a trash can at the end of the drive through.

Yummy as always! Enjoying breakfast with my love as we start this glorious 3 day! Good food, cheap, clean... But it looks like I'm too young to be here at this time lol lots older locals!

Let me explain how nasty this place is. I place my order and receive it then have a seat. As soon as I take my seat a female in the seating area close to me gets up and starts walking past me. She looked strung out on drugs or something. Anyways as she passes me I notice that the back of her white leggings are smothered with blood. What the -. She walks around the McDonalds and then walks out. Within that time frame she had past a few employees that didn't seem to care I guess but what about wiping around where she was sitting. Thats what got me. I had consumed a few fries and a piece of my burger before throwing it all out and leaving in disgust. I have yet to return. This place might be good if you visit the drive through but even then I would question the integrity of their cleanliness judging my previous visit.

  • Jamie B.

This drive through has the longest line I've ever seen... DAILY. It's totally not "fast" food. I highly recommend parking your car & going inside to get your food. Most of the time it's pretty empty and you'll get your food a lot faster. It's pretty clean inside too... that's probably because everyone is in that dang drive thru line! But if you go when the dining room is closed, plan on wasting at least 15 minutes of your life.

I live in Mililani but the kids go to school on the North Shore so I was freaked out when the Mililani Town McDonald's shut down for demolishing and re-building. Have you ever tried to get something to eat/drink while toting two very active little ones? For me, drive through is the way to go!!! I was happy when I figured out I could use the Wahiawa McDonalds to get my morning fix of sodas and coffees. Like everyone says, the drive through in the am is pretty long. I don't mind though because the workers are sooo friendly. The young gal who works the order/payment window is always friendly and happy. In fact, we chat every morning as I am handing her my $2.40 for my "Medium regular Iced coffee, extra cream." To no surprise at all to me, the car in front of me handed her a present at the window last week. She's that nice!!! Anywho, their soft drinks are a buck no matter what size, they're generous with the cream, and the service is friendly. Now that Mililani McD's is up and running I'll still choose Wahiawa when headed out to the North Shore (the Haleiwa McD's charges significantly more for everything on their Menu and their service is a thumbs down).

Get all the way home and they forgot the main item. Why do I have to double check the order every freaken time! The one time I don't check this happens. Since when did it become the customers job to check the order????

  • PJ L.

This McDonald's is horrible. They always get my order wrong, when you ask for a handful of ketchup they give you just two, always forgetting dressing for my salad, giving me crispy chicken when I ask for grilled. I'm not usually picky or mean about these things but I had it. Tonight they were only accepting cash and didn't bother to put a sign up in front of the drive thru. I unfortunately didn't have enough in cash and was forced to sit through their very slow drive thru which was so slow I had enough time to write this review. No wonder McDonalds in general isn't raking in as much anymore...people are fed up with their badly prepared food and bad service.

    (1)
  • Kalei L.

Super bummed to get home and find I got the wrong sauce and cold fries. I could deal with the wrong sauce but cold fries

  • Pua L.

If only I could give them negative starsssss!! EVERY single time we have problems with this place, who the heck is the GM? No line in the drive-thru until they started f**ing up the orders, then it was backing up. Only 2 cars in front of us; they gave our food away, we got someone else's order, then we are asked to park and wait for our food. WTH!! It's not like they have a huge menu. Where's the focus?? This place is a joke!! We are definitely going to start supporting other restaurants in Wahiawa.

  • Stephani D.

It's a McDonald's and I understand that so it's not as though I'd go in with 5 star expectations. I have problems with my order in one way or another EVERY time I come here, which I can get past because I know those drive thru head sets don't always work so great and I'm one of those people who customizes everything I order.. I would never leave a review over those types of issues, but I went there tonight and got a quarter pounder and my patty had a defined bite taken out of it. I'm so grossed out by this and can't even imagine why someone either thought it was funny or acceptable to hand that out?

    (1)
  • Chris C.

Nice staff but I stood at the counter with my wallet out, ready to order and all five people behind the counter totally ignored me. :(

    (1)
  • Wahine N.

They have the friendliest staff! Aside from the chronics hanging around the place, everything else is terrific.

    (4)
  • Elena C.

Love their ice coffee and french fries. Although I don't care for hamburgers I always like to get the Big Kids meal and most always go through the drive through.

    (5)
  • Lily B.

I like the staff here! Always friendly and pleasant, even though they're super busy! Expect LONG LINES... especially during lunch (a lot of people from Schofield come over) and dinner... BUT, the good thing is, on most occasions the line moves fairly quickly. For me... seeing a long line and then parking the car to go inside isn't always better... I'll remember which car I was behind and then when I leave that car is at the window or leaving... so it's same same... because everyone else who doesn't wanna wait in the drive-thru is going inside too! Because they're always so busy you always get fresh food! Yum!

    (5)
  • Tonya M.

Spare yourself the disgust and don't come here!! It's dirty, there's random chickens and prostitutes running around outside. They always mess up your order! Go to the Mililani one and spare yourself the headache!!

McDonald's of Wahiawa is a good stop location for the Military personnel and locals on their way to work in the early mornings to and from the North Shore and the Wahiawa area. And les not forget, they have a 24 Hr. drive-thru as well, so the munchies for some french fries and ice cream sundaes are satisfied anytime. They also support the local schools here, so promos and fundraisers are a common sight, though unlike the old design, the parking lot cannot accommodate car washes as before in the old days, but nevertheless, "Mickey D's" of Wahiawa rocks!

  • Aiai G.

I've never been there for long time and I noticed there are so much new managers that I know were sassy when they were regular employees. They suck as they were crews and they more suck now as managers. They're sassy as hell and no good phone etiquette.

  • Cory M.

First of all, what the heck was I doing out in Wahiawa?! Well, I guess I'll go anywhere for business. I needed a pick me up from all that driving so I decided to pick up a coffee from McDonalds. I know, such the gourmet coffee drinker. Well, let me start by saying that I don't mind McDonalds coffee, but what threw me off was the service. I understand that McDonalds hires just about anyone. But as a franchise, aren't they supposed to teach them transferrable skills like customer service? I waited at the cash register for 5 minutes! Then it took another 5 just to get my medium latte! Fast food huh? I guess I should know better next time.

  • Michelle M.

Yelp 31 Challenge: 25/31 This is my coffee spot on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I come here for coffee every morning because there is no Starbucks in Wahiawa. I know, I know...I should go across the street and hit up Surfin' the Nations but they dont have a parking lot and they are on the wrong side of the street for me to make a convenient coffee run in the morning. Excuses, Excuses... Anyways, for as NON-Coffee famous Mickey D's has been, they definitely have been making an effort to make some headway in the market. I wish I could add a couple of shots to get an extra caffeine kick but not so lucky here. For $2.89 for a large, I guess I'm doing alright!

Pretty sure I just got food poisoning from the sausage burrito or bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit I ate there at 8 this morning. Around 1030 I was cramping and vomiting amongst other things and landed in the ER. They said I must've eaten something bad. This was the only place I had eaten over a 12 hr period.

If you come through the town during the late hours of the night do not come here, absolutely the worst drive thru and customer service I ever received! I had missing items to having to wait 15 minutes at the pick up window with no acknowledgement what so ever!! Not even by the manager who was jus a couple ft. From the window? Only to find out that they couldn't even make my latte? RIDICULOUS!!! by far the worst service I ever had! Wish there was a neg. star because I would give it a -5 star!

Get all the way home and they forgot the main item. Why do I have to double check the order every freaken time! The one time I don't check this happens. Since when did it become the customers job to check the order????

Love their ice coffee and french fries. Although I don't care for hamburgers I always like to get the Big Kids meal and most always go through the drive through.

I've never been there for long time and I noticed there are so much new managers that I know were sassy when they were regular employees. They suck as they were crews and they more suck now as managers. They're sassy as hell and no good phone etiquette.
