I LOVE Love's Bakery. As a family guy, I appreciate the value of Love's products. Since we live in town, we normally go to the Love's Bakery in Kalihi (Middle Street). But on this occasion, we found ourselves on the Windward side so we decided to visit this Love's location (Kaneohe) . . . Unfortunately, it was a waste of time. The selection was TERRIBLE and it seemed like the prices were a tad bit higher than in town. NO parking to speak of close by. But if you wanted to park at Windward Mall and walk over, then there's tons. The service was the WORST!!!! You know, I don't expect to get my butt kissed at a thrift shop, but at least pretend that you give a damn. Please try and look me in the eye and at least FAKE a positive attitude. You can plot my demise in your mind, but on the outside smile. Sad as this might sound, it was verified upon our next visit to Middle Street location when we talked with the staff there. They sadly CONFIRMED that they have gotten a fair amount of complaints about the staff at the Kaneohe location, mostly one nasty person, but all it takes is one right? We'll save our gas and time, and stick to the pleasantness, variety and selection that we know and love at the Middle Street Love's Bakery.

Love's Bakery is a super good place to buy bread and snacks if you live in Kaneohe. The loaves and donuts here are so much cheaper at this store that the grocery store prices seem criminal. You can save a couple bucks per loaf and that can add up over time. You'll save even more money if you're buying donuts for an office or family party. If you like the fruit pies, they're less than $2 here and they are fresher than what you're gonna find in a grocery store or gas station. This is a good place to indulge your sweet tooth for not much money.

I read in today's newspaper that a family needs $76,000 to comfortably live on O'ahu. That's because they factored in the cost of bread. Tired of going to the grocery store and paying 6 bucks per loaf? A little detour here will save you plenty. Nestled in a tiny strip mall in Kaneohe, lies this gem. 3.50 for a loaf of bread is more like it. Important note: it is just as fresh as the store kind! They also have all the other Love's products. Those powdered donuts the leave a permanent chalk mark on your mouth...the kind you get before an important interview or presentation. Those apple pie things you ate as a kid that are uber sweet. You feel kinda like you are in a Goodwill for bakeries here. Be like Macklemore and love the thrift shop down the road, wearing your grampa's clothes. Hours are a bit funky, so come during the day.

Who doesn't love Love's Bakery?! Cheap prices, decent bread, if you catch them at the right time, they have potato chips and tortillas for only 99 cents, and an assortment of baked goods. I never walk out of this store without buying something, and if you bring your own bag, you get double points on your loyalty card! And with all the cents you save, you can go to the Mall and spend it all! LOL

Always pleasant shopping here! Maybe it's because I come here about once a week? :) The best prices on all kinds of bread; I save about $2 a loaf and about $3 when I buy the donuts! They carry typical white/wheat breads, hot dog/hamburger buns, Cinnabon packaged pastries, Diamond Bakery snacks, crackers, jelly/jams, tortillas and such. It's all very well priced. I highly recommend buying your bread products here vs the regular grocery stores.

I came here to get some bread to feed the ducks and fish at Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens. I told the girl working there and she directed me to the cheapest bread they had. Super great customer service and looked like they had a good selection as well. I grabbed hotdog buns and I was expecting them to be old but they seemed fresh as could be.
