Yummo! We've never had a bad meal here. From the fried catfish to the chicken tenders, they really know how to do Southern home cooking. Always friendly, good prices.

Hands down the best dining in the area. Country fried steak is excellent. The food is very southern traditions. Only bad thing is if it is cold and windy, don't sit by the door.

Great southern comfort food at its best. This is right across street from daughters school. We went in building was little old but the food is where it was at :) could use little updating on decor but good food!

Nothing spectacular. Food was good and reasonably priced. The baked chicken was pretty good but the portions were a little small. I would go back

Went here Sunday w/my dad. I'm not sure why I don't go more often. I had chicken , greens and mashed potatoes w/gravy. Everything was great!! A good choice for home cooked meals

Country cooked cafeteria food. Lots of vegetables. Very little salt used in their food. It reminds me of plain but reasonably good cafeteria school food. They say homemade desserts but they were not great...a 3 out of 5. Overall not a bad place just not a real great place unless you are into plain.

Pic O' Deli has been in Rome for a very long time and most people seem to like it. It has a class counter covering the food were you tell the servers what you want, not a self serve buffet. Pick O' Deli serves homestyle food like country fried steak, meatloaf, catfish, and chicken. Sides you can choose include creamed corn, broccoli with or without cheese, pasta salad, mashed potatoes, dressing and others. I always get chicken fingers with honey mustard. If you feel like the portions are small, ask for it to go and they put your meal in a box which is bigger than the eat inside plate, so you get bigger portions that way. I still eat inside, but ask for a to go plate, they don't care. The food is very simple but good, it's always clean, and the servers are always nice.

Southern comfort foods, buffet style!

What is great about quality southern cuisine, is the the great flavor that's brought out of cheap ingredients. Too bad this restaurant opted for average taste with high prices, could be the small portion sizes that have led me to criticize the prices.
