J Christopher’s Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Great food, atmosphere, and staff!!! The decor was original and sparked conversations. The food was great, generous portions at good prices..nice to have a place in town to get a good "home-cooked" breakfast.

Average breakfast food at above average prices. Freezing cold always. Wear your long johns and hope that you can eat your eggs before they are ice cold. For some reason we have been coming here for years. Tired of frostbite. Go to IHOP Cracker Barrell or Waffle House.

Came over to try a new place. We are foodies and found the variety of the menu excellent. I ordered avocado eggs and they were room temp - I like my eggs hot. The potatoes tasted microwaved. Service was excellent and the prices ok. Will give it another try.

Came for a quick lunch with the family. Had not been here in a while. Food was fantastic. Crepe, burger, chicken salad , fresh fruit all were delicious.

I'm not even going to bother with my usual thorough reviews. That his how much I detested my experience. The food was salty and repulsive and the service was exceptionally terrible. An hour breakfast and our waiter visited the table thrice. Never go here. You will find better quality and more attentive service at a Waffle House. (And I refuse to eat WaHo)

Have been here multiple times since its opening, and every time I go I seem to enjoy it less and less. I find my potatoes to ALWAYS be overcooked, hard as a rock and completely dry. Eggs are okay. Blueberry Crunchcakes are good. Like the coffee. Service has always been pretty good but I find the food to just be average and overpriced for what it really is. Nothing great even though the menu makes it seem appealing. I find it markets itself as a step-up from chain breakfast joints but to be honest, I've had better food and more of it at the chains for cheaper. I do like the ambiance of the restaurant (very bright and lots of natural light) but it is always very loud inside and usually pretty crowded.

We've visited J. Christopher's several times and always enjoy our meal. I had the Benny Lox (Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon) - it was truly delicious! Our one, single complaint is the oven roasted potatoes...they need to be crisper and more seasoned. Otherwise our whole family recommends J. Christopher's for a great meal.

Wanting breakfast, but want something a little higher-end than Waffle House? J. Christopher's is a chain offering a variety of (mostly) breakfast foods. Prices are reasonable, service is typically good, quality is decent, but not divine. Potatoes are typically (3/4 times I visited) overcooked, which is kind of a bummer.

This is our breakfast place on the weekends. The have consistently good food, a relaxed and family friendly atmosphere, and friendly staff. Emily, one of the waitresses on staff, is awesome. Super friendly and takes pride in what she does. The manager, Kim, is very sweet and accommodating. One of the few places in town where the manager consistently checks on the customers to ensure they're having a good meal. The staff definitely is what makes the experience. A solid choice for weekend brunch in Macon.

Two stars for variety, but I have been three times and the service was very slow. The quality of the food is not that great for the inflated price. How do you screw up oatmeal at a breakfast house? Overcooked by a mile and tasted like glue. I would like to support local business, but IHOP is much better. In all, another North Macon favorite based on nothing but peer pressure, not actual quality. Try Twila Fayes in Bolingbroke for true local cuisine.

The eggs benidict was the only thing worth going back for. My husband had scrambled eggs and they are not fresh eggs but a carton type like at a fast food restaurant. The breakfast sausage was over 3 dollars for a side which had only 3 links, they were spicy and didn't taste like breakfast sausage. The pancakes were okay. Potatoes were really dry and I agree with another review they tasted microwaved. The bacon was okay. Nothing was really special. Most of the items are geared towards healthy eating.... since I am from the Pacific north west I am used to that but my husband is from Georgia and he had a hard time picking out something to eat. It's too pricey it cost us just over 30 dollars for breakfast for the 2 of us. Since its not better than IHOP I don't think we will be back. I am willing to pay that much for fresh food but not for that quality. I will say the staff was not rude and we're plesent. The lady who came around (must be the owner) asked how everything was seemed nice BUT it was weird to see her sitting down at a table with wh at looked to be her early 20's daughter and then seeing them eat/drink coffee... then she got up and my husband could see into the kitchen and saw her cooking then she sat back down. Kind of bizare.

Very good. Breakfast is spot on. They always remember us. Food is always fresh price is proper. Try the skillet!

Consistently great service and good breakfast/brunch selections. Seasonal menu items keep the choices new and fresh, such as the fish taco entree for $8.99. Selections are reasonably priced for the area restaurants, and the coffee os piping hot and served in a carafe. Great place for a bright, cheery brunch that locals love!

Cheese is supposed to go inside an omelet. Not on top of it.

I had heard good things about the J. Christopher in Savannah for years, so I figured I'd give this location a shot. I regret doing so. Very low quality ingredients. My wife's gravy tasted like it came out of a powdered packet. Her eggs were bland. Her biscuits dry as all get-out. The oatmeal was bland. The coffee was weak. My crepes were freezer-burnt. This is nothing more than a Denny's or IHOP level of food under a different name.

This place was not good. The eggs tasted like an egg product, not fresh eggs. The potatoes tasted dry and microwaved as well as the pancakes which were so dry they tasted like cardboard. I eat at this franchise in atlanta but this place was a good representation of the chain.

Not sure why there are two listings for he same place but I'll post this on both just in case.... After finding two previous breakfast places closed on a Saturday we ventured here! I'm thrilled we did. The service was fabulous!! The food was good.. Not greasy.. Not over cooked YAY!! The coffee another plus not bitter not char it was smooth for basic coffee! This is on on list of go back to places!

Very busy place but they get to you quickly! All the staff is very nice and helpful. The food was fantastic. I had the maple toast (French toast) and it was AMAZING! Order came out very quickly and was hot with good portion size. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Utensils dirty and covered with water spots. Food came out Luke warm and uninspired. Special of the day is lox on an English muffin with hollandaise sauce. Gross. Coffee is colored water. No butter served with breakfast. Pushed so many booths into the space it is uncomfortable not to mention benches are too low for tables. Proper proportions but too much mine for size. All in all bad experience. That without mentioning the servers have no personalities. Won't be back. Owner should do a private shopper.

Driving through, so did not get time to process. I wanted breakfast, but not the quick, same menu breakfast. This establishment is clean, kind of hidden, but the space is great. I ordered the pantry fresh breakfast with maple syrup French toast and fresh fruit. That French toast was supposed to be one slice French bread with maple syrup and powdered sugar on top. I got two slices of regular bread with just butter. Plus like five pieces of fruit- 3 cantaloupe pieces, 1 honey dew piece, and half a strawberry. I think a quartered orange slice was for garnishment. The meal came out quickly. The coffee was hot. It was early so not that busy. I am now disappointed that I could have gotten more for less and basically the same thing (regular french toast) at Ihop. I just wanted something different. The one in Cobb county, Smyrna, I think, did not disappoint when I went two weeks ago.

I was so excited we found this place!! Granted it's a little loud during busy times, but the food and service are excellent. Also, their coffee, brought in a carafe (to keep it steaming hot for the duration of the meal) is some of the best I've had. They also have a full espresso bar. I'm from California, and often find it difficult to find places here in Georgia that offer the food I'm used to and love. J. Christopher's is as close as I have found to fresh West Coast dining in the South. On my last visit, I ordered the special, avocado eggs Benedict. It was amazing! Definitely something I will try to duplicate at home. I wad so excited to find something pretty much considered "exotic" in Georgia on their menu. They had several other variations of the classic (and my favorite) eggs benedict that I will definitely be back to try.

On our way to Marietta for the day, we were looking for a place to eat breakfast and I consulted yelp (as always) and found J Christopher's. We were seated right away and looked over the menu. Previous reviews were spot on about the noise. Extremely loud and the place was only half full. Only a few children in attendance, so it must be the acoustics of the building. We commented to our server regarding the noise and he agreed with us. I had the Traditional plate and my husband had the maple pancakes with real maple syrup. Only problem was they were out of the real stuff and tried to give him the fake stuff. They apologized and didn't charge us for the upgrade to real maple syrup. My hazelnut cappuccino was delicious, but my breakfast was only average. Don't think we'd drive up from Warner Robins to eat here on a regular basis, but if we were going north on I-75 and needed breakfast, we might eat here again. Clean restaurant and restrooms, but my husband had to let our male server know that the men's room was out of handsoap. Not the worst we've ever had, but not the best either.
