Kind of disappointed. Food took forever. They messed up my order along with someone else's in my party. The server wasn't that attentive but I don't blame her because it was pretty packed. Overall, my experience was very 'meh' but I'll still give it another chance probably.

Great deli sandwiches. Loved Liver & Onions, cooked to order, hard to find this dish now a days. Service is consistently good. A trusted go-to restaurant when I wanted comfort & unpretentious food at a good value. Decor & lighting could be better.

Craving old New York deli food, Toojay's has become a staple for my family. The melts are delicious, the deserts scrumptious. The portions are nice, the price is right. My mother (who grew up in NY) prefers the corned beef at Toojay's to the famous Katz deli in Manhattan.

Amazing food any time of the day. Nice size portions and the sandwiches are amazing. Triple J reminds me of NY.

Love their matzo ball soup and their brisket sandwich! There was quite a wait for a seat, but overall was worth waiting for.

Comfort Food to the MAX!!! This place has great delicatessen style food. The portions here are a little on the ridiculous side so be prepared to bring home a well portioned lunch for the next day. The service isn't anything to brag about, and the lines tend to be a bit long on the weekends and at dinner time. They do have a good takeout option though, and from what I hear, their desserts are delicious.

Good variety. Decent food. The wife loves their beef cabbage soup. The only reason we frequent so much.

I love TooJay's, I always have. This location at the Wellington Green Mall. We were seated in a corner, I was facing the restaurant. They seated people so close to us that it felt like we were sharing tables. And because of the way I was facing, I was staring at some guy eating his lunch. Now, the food was great, I had the open faced turkey sandwich. The sandwich is huge, but a small portion of fries. I guess they are trying to help me diet? Overall, it was a good lunch with decent service. One more note, they serve pepsi products....

We went there today for lunch. It was maybe 40% full with diners. The service was good and quick. My husband ordered a rueben and that was loaded with meat as all of there pictures show their meat sandwiches to be, and their french fries were very good. I got the Chicken Philly that was on there special board as you walk in. The sandwich consisted of more peppers and onions than chicken. It was very disappointing. I had been here one other time for breakfast in the last 10 years that I lived in the area and the fact I had only been once makes me think that wasn't the greatest either. If I went back I would most likely go for the corned beef or pastrami but unless I feel that particular craving I won't be back.

Service was excellent. My dinner was not very good. I ordered sweet potato fries. I could not eat them and beef brisket (too dry) sandwich dip. Cole slaw was excellent. My guest enjoyed the tuna melt and the potato knish.

Get the chopped liver. Delicious - best I've had in years. I got it on a sandwich with rye bread (Jewish, soft with caraway seeds). Wife got the under 550 calories fish. Came with broccoli & melon chunks. Plenty to eat. Service was fine, not much of a wait - tail end of the lunch hour.

Love TooJay's. Today, we had the beef cabbage soup which is my absolute favorite, my son enjoyed the chopped liver appetizer which is always a hit. he got the Reuben and I got the Rachel. I'll admit that I like the Reuben better and he liked the Rachel better, so great that we shared. I highly recommend TooJay's. Usually I get the Nova on a bagel and their nova is divine.

As a Restaurant Consultant I would much rather write positive reviews than negative ones but unfortunately I have almost nothing positive to report regarding my Rosh Hashanah dinner at TooJay's at the Wellington Mall tonight. I would like to compliment the two servers that waited on us tonight they really did a fantastic job serving our table of 9. But, as far as the quality of food and the way it was presented I have one word to explain it- HORRIBLE. im not going to get into the specfic details it just was certainly sub-par. After sitting back and watching my entire family not eat their entrees I figured it was time to speak up. I called over my server and asked if he could please send a manager over since one had not come over to our table to check on us during our meal. Within a couple of minutes a young lady walked up to our table not introducing herself and not identifying herself as a manager and asked us how our meal was. I asked her if she was the manager to which she said yes. I proceeded to let Jennifer the so called manager know how disappointed we were with our holiday meal and she immediately got on the defensive saying that she was in the kitchen actually helping to cook the food. She also stated multiple times that no one else had complained about the food that day, and she even made it a point to interrupt me to correct me when I referred to the mushroom gravy as AuJus (even though there where no mushroom in it so I had been unable to tell it was that vs au jus) She offered us a 10% discount on our dinner. When, I said "no thank you that is not what im looking for here" she said "well it seems like that IS what you are looking for". I let her know that I would be calling corporate tomorrow becuase of how displeased my whole party had been with the experience. she said well how much would I like for her to take off..frustrated now I said 50%. Jennifers answer was fine and she said she would be calling corporate herself to let them know ahead of time. My answer to her was why to cover your ass? We paid the bill and gave our servers a 20% tip on the original bill which they deserved and left. Jennifer never once apologized sincerely during our conversation. For the people of Wellington my suggestion is to stay on 441 South for 30 minutes and get off on Clint Moore Rd and go to Ben's if you want truley amazing Kosher style food, it will be 100% worth the trip.

Ordered egg sandwich.. Took over 15 minutes for food to arrive. Restaurant was about 1/10th of capacity. Food was average, service average.

I love TooJay's, mainly because it's hard to find decent deli food anywhere around here. Now is the food always delicious? No, not really but you just need to know what to get. Their fries are usually spot on. The cold sandwiches you can't really go wrong on. The reuben and rachel will always be classics. I like the Mediterranean trio and Matzo Ball soup. Potato pancakes are hit or miss, but when they are a hit, they are a fly ball out of the park. I hear the desserts are really good but out of the dozens of times I've been here, I have yet to try any. Overall, I wish there was better deli food around but until that day, this will be my spot when I am craving some classics.

Came in at 2:30 PM on a Saturday during a shopping trip with my mother and grandmother. We were seated right away and our server was excellent. We all had the same thing, corned beef sandwiches on seedless rye, and we shared an order of fries. Everything was delicious and the sandwiches here are always generously-sized (I question the appetite of the previous reviewer who said their corned beef sandwich was too small). In fact, we all had half sandwiches. My mom and grandma shared a sandwich and I took my other half home to my dad (was he ever happy for that snack!). I've eaten at TooJay's before so I knew what to expect (the Boynton Mall location) but this was my grandmother's first time. She is super picky and hates eating out... like for anything... and even she enjoyed her sandwich. That is saying something! Having TooJay's at the mall is a nice alternative to the usual crappy food courts.

I've been to TooJays in the past and enjoyed a taste of New York in South Florida. When my wife suggested going, I was all in. Bottom line, I was terribly disappointed. Let's start with waiting on line and checking in on Foursquare. There was an offer of a "free black and white cookie when ordering" well, I showed this to my waiter, who informed me it was only for a mini. OK, annoyed, I ordered my standard Corned Beef sandwich and cup of matzo ball soup. The soup was good, the corned beef was mediocre, at best. And small. It was an old Catskills joke come to life. A tasteless dill pickle and horrid, mayonaissey cole slaw accompanied it. The corned beef was a bit fatty, not too much, but it just wasn't good. Then for dessert, the waiter, sensing my annoyance, brought me 3 mini black and whites, instead of just one, good move..except that they were terrible! I'm not sure why TooJays has gone so far downhill, but I doubt I'll be back. Too many choices around to deal with such mediocrity.

I was pretty disappointed with this restaurant. The service was very slow and there was hardly anyone there. The sandwich I had was good, but I could have made the same sandwich at home for much cheaper.

Another great meal at Toojay's! We can always count on their dishes to be consistently tasty. We got here a little late today and the line was to their door but they were able to seat us in about 10 mins. Once we sat down we got some coffee before our waitress (Ashley) was able to take our orders. It was very weak, when the waitress stopped by we mentioned it, she apologized and made is a double brew! (How awesome was that!) Our order took only about 10-15mins to come out, everything was fresh and hot. I love coming here because everyone is always pleasant and the food is great! Also, being originally from NY it reminds me of home!

The food and service was great we got a lot of food and everyone was stuffed I only give it 3 stars because there was no hostess at the stand until 10 Minutes after we arrived , I didn't like how people stared into the windows while we ate it was very uncomfortable and there was a $56 hold on my account for 2 days although my bill was $45 overall good experience

Hot outside but freezing in the mall. So excited when I saw "tomato dill soup" as the daily special. Certainly needed some soup to warm me up. But, sadly, the soup had a chicken stock! Why the heck does a vegetable soup have a vegetable stock? Even our waitress said it's ridiculous. I get that chicken soup and other poultry and beef based soups have a meat stock, but why tomato soup? Too Jays offers a vegetarian and lighter option section on the menu which suggests management is aware that guests are eating healthier and want food that is not so high in fat and calories. So, this begs the question once again...why chicken stock in tomato soup? C'mon Too Jays, use vegetable stock in your vegetable soup and I'll come back.

Wonderful food and service, mindblowingly inexpensive prices. I had the veggie egg white omelet, with a fresh-baked multigrain bagel and cup of soup. Healthful options and a vegetarian and lighter fare selection on the menu. The restaurant is freezing. Manager seemed to monitor tables very well, so if there ever were a problem I imagine they would be attentive.

Give this a 3.5. Quick review of lunch yesterday: Matzo ball soup = 4 (very flavorful) Potato pancakes = 3.5 (a bit too greasy) Rugelach = 2 (too "cakey")

Love TooJay's. Great food, good atmosphere and usually easy to get in and out of. This one was no different; we had a great meal and went from walk in to walk out in under an hour with 6 people in our party.

Good place to stop off for some lunch. Had a burger that was satisfying. The fries were cold so I had to ask for a replacement. My second batch wasn't much hotter but my guy's was. The banana dream cake was yummy however I ordered some desserts to go because they looked so good. I was so disappointed. I got red velvet, cheesecake, lemon coconut, Rugalach, carrot cake and a napoleon. The lemon coconut was ok and better than the rest. The other cakes were either straight from a box or had a half mix and scratch mixture. I know my cakes. I ended up throwing most of each out and that after 3 people tried them. Not good at all. I have to say the cheesecake was probably the worst of the bunch and the napoleon was just ok, not great. Considering this isn't a bakery the I cant be too hard on them for that I guess. Will I return to toojays? yeah probably but not for dessert.

I have never been to Toojay's and I came here to meet a couple girlfriends for lunch. I waited in line to get a table and the line moved pretty quick around lunch time. I was debating to get a sandwich since I heard that Toojay's is famous for them, but I settled for the cheddar bacon dogs with fries. Oh so good! It is exactly what it is. If only it had a little bit of chili on them, it would be perfect. My friend loved her cheese blintzes and was raving about it the entire time. Our waiter was nice and he made sure that we were happy with our meals. I didn't dare touch the black and white cookies that they are also famous for since I was stuffed from my awesome lunch. What a nice time!

I've been to this toojays probably 4 times. It has been "decent" 3 out of the 4 times. I am giving 2 stars only b/c of an incident that happened on 1/30/09. My Mom and I went in for breakfast, mine was GREAT, her's on the other hand not so much. As I was eating my food, I noticed on her plate something a bit strange, a twisted "thin" piece of metal, at first it looked like a piece of burnt egg. I picked it up with my fork and could not believe what I saw. My Mom could have accidently consumed it. We called our server over (she was very nice and prompt) and she said she will show the manager (he did take it off the bill). The reasoning for 2 stars is b/c of this instance. I don't think I can go back there again.

I go to this place almost everytime I visit my grandparents. I'll be honest not sure if I have the right location... my grandparents live in Boynton Beach, but they always say the one there sucks so we go to a different one that I'm thinking is Wellington. Anyways, the food has always been pretty good, their ruebens/rachels are like an 8 inch tall tower erected in honor of the heart attack (good thing). They have a lot of the Jewish deli favorites that I can't get where I live in Maryland, so that's a good thing as well. There's also always entertainment here (or anywhere in the West Palm area for that matter) in the form of the other diners who are often 70+, Jewish, and completely insane (for those of you not familiar with this demographic, think Hyman Roth from the Godfather II on crack minus the murder). While I could see their behavior as being shocking to those not use to it, and as a waiter I hold more respect for waiters working in this area and dealing with this daily than any in the world... I grew up with this, so I just sit back, roll my eyes, and laugh to myself.
