After having their pizza and giving it a great review I Went with my wife to the restaurant to have dinner and the food was excellent . My wife had chicken parmagiana and I had Chicken Francese . My wife can't stop talking about the tomato sauce and how tender the chicken was. My chicken fracese was so good that I was dipping my garlic roll in the lemon wine sauce it was that great. Service was great and the owner was greeting everyone as they came in the restaurant . Seems like everyone knows that this place is great. It's your choice you can eat at a chain restaurant or you can enjoy great Italian cuisine at an off the beaten path and quiet restaurant . Definitely deserved 5 stars.

Best pizza we've ever had in West Palm Beach. Take out is great but eating in hot out of the oven is a real treat. We have a very discerning Italian exchange student with us who was hesitant to even try pizza here in the states said it's better than what she gets in Milan. Fantastic crust. Fresh ingredients. We also had calamari as an appetizer and we could tell it was very fresh. Finished with a zeppoli desert, excellent. We've had other meals here before and everything is really noteworthy. Owner is young attentive guy from Italy.

Had pizza delivered yesterday and they had the best NY style pizza around the Wellington area.

Great place, nice atmosphere inside and out. Love that you can eat outside and it is pet friendly. I loved the pizza. Also had salads and appetizers. We also had an amazing waiter, Yanni.

The food was delicious. It stopped there. The THREE STOOGES for waiters and help staff. Inexcusable. I have never seen such a poorly run restaurant. You need to TRAIN your staff on making sure they know/remember who ordered what?? Soups arrive with no soup spoons..mixed up orders.."who had the..." was all we heard... forgotten items...head waiter was almost defensive about it...seriously though ..get your act together people!! This kind of horrid service shuts restaurants down.

We received a postcard in the mail and decided to try it. New renovation is lovely. Very nice, sleek decor. Service was pleasant and efficient. Food was disappointing. We ordered fried calamari which was undercooked. The grilled chicken entree was bland and was supposed to come with broccolini, but came with large broccoli instead. Asparagus side came without the indicated Reggiano. We asked about the wine offer on the postcard..half off on Mondays and Tuesdays but the hostess did not seem to know and simply walked away without providing an answer. Chicken piccata meal came on a dirty dish, and the chicken had an odd texture. Overall average food, nice decor, pleasant service.

We stopped by the restaurant on Valentine's day around 4:15-4:30 to look at a menu (since the one online is ridiculously small) and the female hostess was extremely rude to another customer. Not to be long winded here but I need to explain the full scenario for this rant to make sense. I asked the hostess to see a menu and a party of 4 walked up behind me without a reservation and wanted to be seated. She was rude to them and said you needed a reservation too which they dropped the owner's name. A male host/waiter was standing there and said we can sit you outside without a reservation - they left. I handed the menu back and a woman and her young son wanted to be seated outside without a reservation. The female hostess looked disgusted with them and very rudely said you must have a reservation. I spoke up and said you just told the other party that walked away they didn't need a reservation to sit outside. The male host than said ma'am we are going to get very busy and a reservation is required. Too which I said again, that's not what you told the other party and I left. I couldn't believe the discrimination they had towards this woman (and why because she wasn't dressed super fancy and had her son with her?). I'm not sure if they seated her or not. By the way there was one party sitting outside and I don't think anyone was inside.

Update: now they have the Amatriciana, seems the price of some dishes was actually lowered. The food got better and I can see they try to do a more authentic representation of Italian food. Not bad at all, and nice people too!

Used to be way better before they began construction to expand. My dish was cold, had raw cheese on top, and I would bet my life on was premade. Given how amazing this place was about 6 months ago, I will give them a second star. However, I would never go back. The food and service stunk. 3 out of 4 dishes were cold. They remade the dishes and they were no warmer. Seriously? If I order $18 lasagna, it better be hot. We had to ask 4 different people to get more bread. Again, not the service you would expect from a nice restaurant. Overall, very disappointing. They would be better off just closing until the remodel is complete if their standards are going to be so low.

We ate here to celebrate a family members birthday, and I must say..... we were ALL pleasantly surprised! From the bread and olive oil with spices all the way to the end of the meal, we were in heaven. The pizza was perfect. The cheese was melted to perfection, the toppings were fresh, and the crust was delicious. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese, and it was so fantastic! My boyfriend had the gnocchi, which was wonderful; however, the texture was a little bit mushy. I did not have the opportunity to try the other dish ordered; however, our family members thoroughly enjoyed it! It was quite the drive for us, but we will definitely go back!

Love this place! The food is excellent. Moving to South Florida from NY, we struggled to find good italian food. We finally found it! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This is true authentic Italian food. I feel like I'm back in New York! Great Service....The owner and staff couldn't be nicer! We eat at Romeos at least once a week.

We have been wanting to try this place for quite some time and finally ate here on Saturday night. We made a reservation but they seemed to have lost it but at least they still did the right thing and accommodated us. The service was very slow. Do not go here if you are looking for a quick meal. The food was all good. We stated with salads that we enjoyed and fresh hot bread with olive oil dip. Two of is had the special, one had a sea bass dish with brussel sprouts, and I had shrimp parm. The special was not as good as the sea bass but we enjoyed everything else. The pizzas also looked really good. I'm sure we will be back.

I'm not longer sure about this place. Indeed the food is very good but the customer service, delivery people and management has a lot of attitude towards customers. They forgot that without customers there is not business. They don't care much if you are happy with the service or not!!

This place has gone DOWNHILL. This was the first time at Romeo's as friends have been there many times last season. The food is NOW poor...tasteless...service horrible..short of staff...waited over 1 hour to get served. Our friends that raved about this place and they are NEVER going back. We will never go back.Better places to go to get good food and good service. Other reviews rave about this place, but it has gone downhill rapidly. We had friends go the night before with the same comments as I have written. Stay away.

Ordered on line, it was easy. And to my surprise the white pizza was good, a little too greasy but good. Will try the restaurant itself soon.

I agree with Mauro R's review... it was just "good", which in most cases is all you need for a meal! We ate here the first weekend we moved to Wellington as it was close to the house. It was about 1:00PM and we stopped in for lunch. Our server had a serious relaxed approach to service, which at first bother us seeing as there were only two other tables at the time. We quickly forgave him when he told us he just came over from Italy and had only been in the States for two months! Specialty pizza was good, and they had a many menu options to choose from. I think they are trying to cater to the upscale Welly crowd, and from the looks of how packed they were when I drove by last Saturday evening, they are doing just fine.

We had the antipasto salad which btw, was delicious, but really only good for two people. We also ordered 2 personal pizzas, which was plenty for the 4 of us. They were actually vey good. I can't give it 5 stars though. The reason is, they were a bit stingy on it. It had 7 small pieces with olive oil, but that was it. It took a VERY long time to get the pizza. We sat here for 45 minutes waiting for it. At that point, offer me a free app. Seriously, it's pizza...it doesn't take 45 min to cook in a coal fired oven. Kudos though for it being delicious. Star was wonderful. Just way over priced pizza. Too bad, since it's very good. Bring your wallet!

Fantastic food!! Great outdoor area too. Been here twice and will keep coming back! Authentic pizza with a real Italian atmosphere. Try the Brussels sprouts

This place used to make good food and pizza. Management has decided to increase prices and lower quality to pay for their recent renovations. BIG MISTAKE!

I would have given them a great if it wasn't for their consistent inconsistency on service. Specifically, accuracy of order ESPECIALLY on deliveries. I've been a customer for years and it doesn't feel that way. Quality has been okay. Mediocre as compared to high end Italian restaurants, better than most local delivery places. If they paid a little more attention to their quality of service, they might have not lost this customer.

I'm actually from Los Angeles California and I came to Florida to visit my sisters and attend my sister's wedding. We came to this little Italian restaurant to grab a bite and get out of the rain. The food is just delicious and the location is perfect. Shopping centers are everywhere and you can get to each store without getting wet due to a connected roof. The inside is adorable. Plenty of seating and great service.

Nice, quaint and cozy with a slightly upscale feel. Our waiter was spot on through the whole lunch meal. We order garlic rolls to start and they arrived fresh and hot within a few minutes. Very good, not oily like many others, with the right amt of garlic. We each order personal pizzas. The traditional was excellent, tasty sauce with a nice crisp crust. We also had the spinach, garlic and cheese ( one with feta, the other gorgonzola. Both excellent. Definitely will return when on the area. .

The old Anthony's pizza is better than ever as Romeo's. Excellent pie, good pasta. Fast service.

Pizza just wasn't pizza in Wellington until we came across Romeo's. It is very good pizza. You can not beat their lunch specials either. Yum. Everything we've tried here has been excellent.

Ordered for take-out. Pizza was pretty good. Sausage and onion combo was full of carmelized onion flavor and hunks of sausage. Plenty of cheese as well. Liked it a lot. The entrees, not so much. Gnocchi was a little on the rich side, and portion size did not compare to other Italian restaurants in the area -- kind of smallish. (We usually have leftovers, but not tonight!) The chicken alfredo was bland. The best part of this meal was the garlic rolls -- soft, garlicky, not burned on the bottom, which is my pet-peeve with a lot of other pizza joints. The restaurant is very inviting inside. Nice ambiance for a dinner out. I wouldn't say it was the best pizza I ever had, but it was better than Sal's. We'd go again, only because it's close to home. Still miss Dean Anthony's!!!!!!

I'm from NY an Italian runs in my blood and usually the food down here in Florida never compares, but this place was great. Great atmosphere, great service and great food. Home made pasta is amazing every dish we had was great . It was just me and my girl it wasn't too expensive either. I would definitely recommend this place if your in the area.

Food continues to be very good... We had a new server, so there were some rough spots, but management was quick to make it right. We'll be back!

Mediocre food, terrible service. We sat at the bar right infront of the manager, he took our order, gave us our food and then gave us the check. Never checked to see if we needed anything. The owner of the place was also yelling at employees and putting them down right in front of us....um isn't this something you do with your employees behind closed doors and not while I'm trying to have my dinner?? I won't go back because the whole experience was just very uncomfortable!

Soup was excellent! Eggplant parm was flavorful but over cooked. My husband loved the lasagna. Zepolies were so yummy I ate until I was stuffed. Service was very good too.

You can like the new decor or not, -I personally miss the view of the brick pizza oven- but this is still the best place for pizza in Wellington by far!

Excellent pizza, excellent pasta faglioli, excellent calzones, excellent chicken parm- pretty much excellent everything. Tastes just like "up north" and coming from a girl who was born and raised in NJ, that is definitely a compliment. I've never had pizza from Italy, but these guys are Italian and something tells me that they do it the way they do in Italy. On peak times, we found delivery could be on the slow side so your best bet is pick up. Prices are reasonable but not cheap, but it is WORTH IT. They have lots of premium toppings like roasted garlic, goat cheese (yum), etc. Simply excellent pizza and friendly service always. And the cannoli are great, too! ;)

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
