The place is not bad for breakfast. The lunch menu is gross. I generally get the breakfast in a cup ( grits, cheese, eggs, and sausage) for like a dollar and some change. Zacadoos consistently breaks one of the few cardinal rules of restaurants-consistency. I leave without condiments that were assured were in the bag, a spoon to eat the grits, etc... If it weren't for the price I'd completely give up on this place. PS You should not let people walk through your drive through-it's tacky!

Breakfast in a cup is my ultimate favorite I go there when I need to pick up a quick meal. There lunch menu is good as well, but for about $3 I can get a regular breakfast in a cup (grits, cheese and sausage) and large sweet tea. Their prices are affordable.

Love their Chicken Tender Dinner, I usually get that and a sweet tea. I just wish they stayed open later so I could enjoy it for dinner.

Zacadoo's is a tiny Valdosta, GA chain that is known as, "Macadoo's" in it's other state. They changed the name (dba) to Zacadoo's for FL soil, possibly to contend with Zaxby's up the street. When they remodeled this structure, someone must've told them that windows are so 1999, because the only window on the place is where you get your food. Even the door for the employees is steathily hidden. What better way to scare off customers, than to not have inviting windows to see what the employees are doing (or not doing) to your food? As for the food, some items are better than the others. I'm a big fan of the prices and even more the "breakfast in a cup", which is a small cup with grits, sausage, plastic cheese (american) and scrambled eggs. It's a filling and unhealthy breakfast that costs less than $2. They also have a good chicken sandwich combo that is less than $5 and is comparable (albeit with less attitude and judgement) to a Lindy's chicken sandwich. They have hot dogs and burgers, but I haven't bothered to try them. However, you do have to try their "potato cheddars". They're fried potato balls (kind of like tater tots) that are stuffed with cheese and are absolutely amazing. Seriously, yum! I'm hoping they chose to go without windows because they're strictly a drive thru, not because they have something to hide, since I do like the cheap eats. Update: I got the cheeseburger for lunch, it comes on a sesame seed bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, american cheese and mustard. The patty was like something you'd pick up at your local supermarket in the frozen food section, like a bubba burger. It was way more burger-like than that crap they try to pass as "meat" at Burger King and McDonald's and was actually seasoned with course ground pepper! How cool is that? (Yes, things like freshly ground pepper excite me.:) -UPDATE- 5/30/12 Bros, what happened? This has got to be the worst chicken sandwich I've ever had, EVER. The chicken is paper thin and so dried out, it reminds me of those dehydrated chicken breast dog treats. It's all splintery in my throat, I was scurred I was going to choke. I have to retract all of my previously good comments until further notice. This is total fail. -UPDATE- 9/11/12 Got suckered into eating here again and ordered the chicken tender box. You get five wonderful chicken tenders, fries, toast and cole slaw for $5. It's totally worth it and was totally yummy. The chicken was fried perfectly, very moist and by far the best tenders I've had in a long time. Let's just hope this stays consistent.

Zacadoos looks like either a drug den or a money laundering front. Seriously , I've never seen a restaurant with no windows before. Well, nefarious or not, Zacadoos turns out some awesome fast food. Their spicy chicken sandwich is a big, juicy chicken breast slathered in tasty buffalo sauce, and their chicken biscuit is good enough that they've displaced Chik-fil-a as my go-to fast food breakfast option (and that's quite a feat). Don't be deterred by the post-apocolyptic fallout shelter facade - there are good eats to be had at Zacadoos.

I was really excited when they started building this place. I was looking forward to having a convenient place to get a quick bite. because I work very close to this place. The lack of windows and no provision for walk up customers was a serious over-site. The reason was costs. When building the place they designed it with as few openings as possible because it was cheaper to build and maintain it that way. At the expense of alienating their customers they are saving on heating and cooling costs. The one saving grace they have is a decent biscuit or the breakfast in a cup. The hamburgers are -meh the fries are to much like what you get at an elementary school cafeteria and you can get a better hotdog at the 7-Eleven. I really do like the folks that work there though especially the one manager with the arm tattoo. She is cool.

No windows, it looks like the compound in Pakistan where they finally got bin Laden. I half-expected the girl at the window to try to slip me a note (were those ligature marks?). Well, although the ambiance is bad the food is a lot worse. Hot dogs, burgers, chicken fingers....harried housewives and college kids all over America manage to cook this kind of food with no problem. Why can't Zacadoo's? They microwave the hot dogs for chrissake! This is the worst fast food I've ever eaten.
